I
placed
an
order
for
pickup
at
Kitchen
17
and
had
a
phenomenal
experience
with
the
customer
service
in
person
and
over
the
phone.
My
order
was
ready
when
it
was
meant
to
be
and
was
quick
and
easy
to
obtain.
My
ordered
consisted
of
a
deep
dish
pizza,
cheese
fries,
and
a
pumpkin
spice
cake.
Keeping
in
mind,
I
did
order
for
takeout,
I
expected
the
quality
to
be
a
little
less
than
what
you
may
see
dining
in.
However,
the
pizza
I
received
was
essentially
inedible.
It
wasn’t
cut
all
the
way
through
and
was
total
soup,
so
much
so
that
the
cheese
&
sauce
would
slide
across
the
pizza
if
tilted
for
even
a
moment.
The
slice
I
managed
to
pry
out
of
the
pizza
was
goopy
and
tasted
exactly
like
the
pictured
pizza
looks,
like
soup
on
top
of
bread.
This
was
my
first
vegan
pizza
experience
in
Chicago
and
I
was
so
disappointed.
Looking
at
other
photos
of
their
deep
dish
I’d
like
to
believe
I
got
an
off
pie,
but
for
the
price
it’s
hard
to
take
another
chance
on
it.
The
saving
graces
in
this
meal
were
the
cheese
fries
and
cake.
I
loved
that
the
cheese
was
packaged
separately
from
the
fries,
the
fries
were
perfectly
crispy
and
my
only
wish
would
be
for
a
little
more
cheese.
The
cake
was
by
far
the
best
I’ve
ever
had,
bar
none.
If
I
was
rich
I’d
employ
whoever
makes
that
cake
as
my
personal
baker
and
I’d
have
a
pastry
with
every
meal.
Two
stars
for
great
service
and
some
great
sides
