EDIT--- This establishment is now under new management and have since changed the name to Boa and Bowls. Food is no longer to the level it once was--- With the close proximity of Banh Mi type restaurants in this area this one is notable. The sandwiches add more flavor that I feel a certain "Saucy" banh mi restaurant, around the corner, lacks. Cilantro, carrots, and jalapenos with the addition of the signature hot sauce compliment the juicy beef sandwich beautifully. The buns are softer as well and don't rip apart like the other. The space inside has a fun decor for a quick lunch break and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely be coming back here for all my banh mi needs.

Did not realize the place had changed names. Don't work close to this location. Have gotten sandwiches there several times a year or so ago and the sandwiches I had in the past were awesome. Bread was perfect and everything was very flavorful. Just visited and I don't think I will be going back. Just not the same anymore, not terrible, but compared to what I had before not great. It was very bland comparatively.

This place used to be great. Went in today and it was disappointing. Not busy (1:30pm), I ordered one sandwich, and they still managed to screw it up. I even told them they were giving me the wrong sandwich (asked for a lemongrass tofu banh mi and they gave me a chicken one), but they insisted it was right (it wasn't). They put all five slices of raw jalapeno in the same place (middle) in my sandwich, so I ate half of it and then all of a sudden got bombed with capsicum. They have a special on the board that is two menu items for $10.50 (small wonton and a banh mi) which are $10.60 if you order them separately, so it's a savings of less than 1%. And they spell tofu "tafu" on the menu. Seems like they changed their name, probably new management. Well, it's gone way downhill.

I used to love their sandwiches. Recently, right around the time they changed their name, I noticed the sandwiches got a lot more bland. There used to be a very distinct tangy/vinegar taste to the vegetables that added tons of flavor to the sandwich...But now it seems like that has disappeared, leaving the sandwiches dry and bland.

This is probably the best Pho I have found in Chicago's business district. It is within walking distance from my work, making it very convenient to drop right in during a chilly day. However, if you do decide to eat there, be prepared to fight for seating.

Limited menu; Pho came very fast and friends having Banh Mi enjoyed their choices. Pho choices are limited, so no Dac Biet. A line developed in the afternoon, so visit a bit early.

Had the beef pho and it was good. It doesn't seem to be made with bone marrow, though. They also spice the pho heavily with cracked black pepper which is good, but doesn't taste exactly like traditional pho. The only options for the pho are beef or chicken. No Tai Nam etc. Would give it a 7/10.

If you are looking for Banh Mi BaGet, this is NOT the place. The resteraunt looks the same but it's now Bowls & Bao. The food choices are similar but again, not the same. I ordered a Pho "salad" which wasn't a salad at all. The noodles, meat, and BARELY any veggies were in one container and they have the pho broth in a separate container. The noodles were served hot as well as the meat. So, it was basically a deconstructed Pho, definitely not a salad. I asked them if what I was served was the salad and they said yes. Taste was medicore.

I eat here at least 2x's a week, either have it delivered or pick up myself. After numerous bad experiences i've been having with the pho, today was certainly the last time i will buy anything from your establishment. The pho i ordered today and picked up myself, after making sure the girl on the other side of the phone understood to have the vegetables packed (they always forget some key ingredient of the dish), I got to my office to find the soy bean sprouts rotten. The meat in the pho was either really, really old or just bad because i couldn't keep it in, i immediately spitted it out in the trash can. It was DISGUSTING! I thought maybe i got a bad piece so i tried it again... Nope it all tasted as awful as the first bite. So i removed all of the meat to have the broth only, which had absolutely NO TASTE. I love pho but after the numerous bad experiences i' ve had with orders from this location i will no longer eat here or recommend this location to anyone! In a one word summary- DISGUSTING!!!
