I visited this place with some work colleagues and was able to reserve a table ahead of time. Food is good, I got Pad Thai shrimp and it came out well. Other colleagues enjoyed and liked their food. Location is good, plenty of parking, staff was nice and atmosphere was good. Overall it’s a good place to try some Thai food.

Excellent lunch with a friend today at Big Bowl Schaumburg. The skirt steak stir fry was awesome, and the calamari appetizer was an ideal pairing. The homemade tea/lemonade combination will put any "Arnold Palmer" to shame. Service was prompt and efficient, the entire facility is spotless, and pricing was well within what I would expect for the area. Portion sizes are large, and recommendations/explanations are offered freely by staff. Simply put, this was a great lunch!

Coming to the Mean Streets of Woodfield can be dangerous. I once knew a man who was jailed for jaywalking. Ok that’s not true but we did need a spot for Sunday dinner before the TS movie at the AMC. This fit the bill since we had a short window before showtime. If you see most of my reviews, most are not chain restaurants however this was a nice experience where the staff was friendly and the food wasn’t that bad! It wasn’t the greatest Thai food I’ve ever had but it was fine and surprisingly not too salty. I did the Pad See Ew with Beef which had generous slices of juicy beef. The egg noodles were thick as well. The apps were fine nothing special there. I’m happy we had a nice dinner heading into the show! Plenty of parking lot parking.

The Food is very, very delicious , and the service is great . I highly recommend this place. The steak was cooked very nicely and the flavor was amazing, noodles were tender. Crab ragoons very crispy and the cream cheese filling was so good .

The only place I've found spicy cold peanut sauce noodles appetizer which is a favorite! Julienne cucumber and sesame seeds on top round out each bite. Love the option of chowfun noodles as the starch vs the usual rice or thin noodle with the main course. I got spicy beef - delicious, but suggest you mention how you'd like your beef if you order it. Mine came well-done and I think it would have been even tastier if the beef had been medium instead. Also got the Kung Pao with Tofu and chowfun noodles. Really liked that dish also. Portion size OK for the price. Server was attentive and friendly. Easy, ample free parking.

Big Bowl restaurant in Schaumburg, IL is a must-visit for anyone who loves stir-fries! I've been a loyal customer of Big Bowl for years now, and I've always been impressed with their consistently delicious food and friendly service. Their stir-fry bar is my absolute favorite, and I always order the salmon with kung pao sauce and chow fun noodles. The salmon is always cooked to perfection, and the kung pao sauce is spicy and flavorful. The chow fun noodles are thick and chewy, and they soak up the sauce perfectly. In addition to their amazing stir-fries, Big Bowl also offers a wide variety of other Asian-inspired dishes, including soups, salads, and entrees. They also have a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere at Big Bowl is always warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. They're always happy to answer questions and make recommendations. I highly recommend Big Bowl restaurant in Schaumburg, IL to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Asian meal. It's the perfect place to go for a casual dinner with friends or family. Here are some of the things I love about Big Bowl restaurant: :: The delicious and affordable stir-fries :: The wide variety of Asian-inspired dishes :: The warm and inviting atmosphere :: The friendly and attentive staff I will definitely be back to Big Bowl restaurant soon!

First time back to a Big Bowl location since 2008 (back when they had a location in the D.C.-area in Northern Virginia). The food was hot, fresh, and delicious… tasted like what I remembered. My biggest problem is the cost. It is way too expensive for what you are actually getting.

Good mix of Thai and Chinese food. Pad Thai tasted good and fresh with tender noodles but was too pricey at $19 (for the chicken). Chicken Lettuce wraps ($13) looked pretty coming out but were not great, very salty, messy, and the lettuce was a tad wilted. Additionally, the crispy rice noodles were not crispy, but inedible & chewy, so really best used as plate decor. They tasted like they were made in bulk the day before. (Think cheetos left out in a bowl overnight) Service was very efficient and friendly. Overall, I think it wasn't bad, but maybe your smaller local Thai spots have a better bang for your buck.

Few times ordered food for to go. Today we decided to dine in for the 1 st time. Pleasant atmosphere, and really good food! I was amazed with spicy beef! Surprisingly, my partner didn’t like his dish with shrimps. But, I will definitely go back and enjoy in beef meat again 😀

Big Bowl is one of my favorite noodle places. Came here after a long time and the food, drinks, and service did not disappoint. My favorite were the dumplings, lettuce wraps, spicy green curry, and poke bowl. Each dish was packed with flavors and so satisfying. We also had the edamame , vegetable wonton soup, spicy noodles. They were also really good. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Special mention for the chicken teriyaki on the kids menu, my child devoured it.

Had a reservation and was seated on time. We spent more time waiting for drinks and food than eating. Appetizer: Thai herb calamari, lightly breaded was nice buy didn't taste the herb. Dinner: chef choice stir fry, beef and broccoli, orange chicken w noodles and kids orange chicken. I'd describe it was something that is meant to just be fuel, nothing enjoyable. Every dish had way too much sauce. My kid had more orange chicken in their dish than the main adult orange chicken. If you pay to substitute rice for noodles they mix it with the food and sauce rather than on a portion of your plate. Unlike rice where they put the protein on the top/off to the side. Service was slow on our table where another family was seated 10-15 mins AFTER us and received their food 10 minutes BEFORE (all cooked meals like us even orange chicken). They came and went before we did. We had to flag staff over for help. No one stopped by in-between receiving our meal to receiving out check. We hadn't been here for several years and thought we would check it out. Northbrook was not as poor of an experience back then. I think they also had build your own stir fry back then.

I had been here before a few years ago and had forgotten how delicious the food was! Our waitress was very kind and accommodating to my vegan friend that I was with. Making sure we got all the substitutions we needed! Food was served very quickly and was yummy! Would recommend for a first date or for a quick lunch before hitting the mall!

Love their spicy green Thai curry and pot stickers. I liked the crunchy and chewy texture of the pot stickers. Recommend getting it with the peanut sauce. The green curry is a perfect dish for a winter night out. Warmth all the way through. I usually get it with or without tofu. Fudge cake was chocolaty and moist. The warmth of the cake balanced the cold ice cream well. Definitely a dessert for the chocoholics. They are a bit on the pricy side. Being seated can take a while and gets frustrating at times. Make reservations online. They don’t take reservations over the phone apparently.

Came on a Friday of a holiday weekend around 6 pm. Waited less than 30 minutes at bar (great Mai Tais). Server was helpful with recommendations and very pleasant though we waited a bit for the bill at the end. Wonton soup was excellent as was the Mongolian Beef and Cashew Chicken (the latter is spicy). Good vegetarian options but they forgot to hold the cilantro from my daughter’s Tofu Pad Thai as requested. I’m sure they would have rectified it if we had complained but she just picked it off. The Carmel apple spring roll was amazing. It’s pricey but good size portions with fresh ingredients. We would return.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant keeping it calm and quietly suspenseful for your food to come. I got the Cashew Chicken which I thought was astonishly amazing. My favorite item on this menu is the spicy peanut noodles. It’s a great appetizer to have before your big meal.

The food at Big Bowl was not at all authentic... Americanised Asian food, basically a less posh PF-Changs!! The service was also below average. If you like proper Asian food (not fake) then go to a proper Thai restaurant.

Went here for a dinner.... Been here many times before... Love this place! Pick and choose your own ingredients or go with the dishes on their menu. This time I was feeling a bit lazy so just went with their menu - spicy Sichuan Chicken & Eggplant with cauliflower rice! Highly recommended, the eggplant was crispy on the out side sand soft on the inside! Amazing flavors!!

How could you go wrong with a name like "Big Bowl". The food was absolutely delicious, the service was wonderful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into keeping this restaurant running as smoothly and efficiently as it does. Thank you for the amazing night!

I would avoid going here. I did not have a good experience. First off, the place smells pretty bad on the inside. Granted I came around 5pm but the booth I was sitting at just smelled musty and moldy. The server I had was very nice and attentive so that was the best part of the experience. Not a big deal but I got a water with some dirt marks on the outside but it definitely made me feel icky and I didn't want to drink from it. I had gotten Pad see Ew and when it came, the noodles were all bunched together and sealed together. I don't know if all silverware is like that but I had gotten two forks in my napkin so that was annoying to use when trying to split the noodles sealed shut...For a $20 bowl, you would think it would be much more thought out. I had taken the rest of the noodles to go and I had a family member eat the leftovers and they had to stop eating half way because they thought the leftovers were already spoiled even though they had been put in the fridge right when I had gotten home. It was also weird and not a big deal but the fortune cookie I got was empty.. TLDR: The place smells bad, the food seems old and can spoil quick which means its not fresh and the glasses are dirty. I would not go for the inflated $20 bowl of noodles.

This place is always busy. The food here is decent. I prefer other local Asian food restaurants in the area on most days, but it makes a great spot for dinner before a movie at the AMC. So, it often falls as a default dinner and a movie location.

Tasty Thai and Chinese food! My favorite dish is Thai Green curry with tofu and vegetables. The chicken pad Thai and potstickers are also good. The portion sizes are HUGE here so you can definitely box the remaining. I highly recommend this place.

Great first time experience here. The waiter was friendly and attentive. He asked if we were first timers there and then shot us some popular recommendations. Food tasted great and overall we had a good time here.

Incredible food and great atmosphere, went there for lunch and had about a half hour wait that went fast they have tables and tall chairs to wait. The food like I said was amazing and served hot and tasted incredibly fresh 😋 I would recommend to anyone looking for a restaurant with noodles that make your mouth sing!!

Big Bowl is back post pandemic! The service, the quality of the food, and the atmosphere were all top notch. They also have Sapporo beer on tap from Japan. Sapporo is a national beer and it is a rice lager. If you love lager beer, try a Sapporo and you will thank me later! Get over to Big Bowl for fresh Chinese and Thai food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere.

Very close to the mall and amc. Easy parking closer to restaurant. My only complaint for this place is long wait. I cannot reserve in advance either and in order for me to reserve I have to go in person. This place closes at 9 pm on Saturday night which super awkward timings too. Food was great.

Big Bowl is a must-try for anyone who loves Asian cuisine. The food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients, making each dish a burst of flavor in your mouth. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. However, the restaurant can get quite crowded and the noise level can be high, so it may not be the best choice for a romantic evening or a quiet night out. Ginger ale is the super fresh, but the lemonade tastes different, we had to return it. Overall, it's a great option for a delicious meal with good company.
