I just don’t get how or why there’s not a line wrapped around the corner. The food is so tasty, just like my family makes! Everything has so much flavor. Ravi, the owner, was very friendly. I will be back….again and again and again… If you want amazing tasting food without excessive oils cream butter etc, this is the absolute spot

Nothing like this in the city and 100% worth a visit! The Ramen dosa wrap has such great flavors and the protein made it more filling than your standard dosa. The mysore dosa was good but I am not used to that much cabbage in the filling, it added a slight bitterness actually. Also really enjoyed the pomegranate and spicy mango ice cream

Quick dosa corner located in revival food hall in heart of city. Its a modern take on dosa rather than traditional. Opted for masala dosa plate option which was good. Tried idli as well, it was okayish little bit soggy. The service was quick which is really a plus. Overall a good and quick place to grab dosa.

Everything here is delicious and the owner is so nice! I was sad they when they closed during the pandemic, but excited that they’re back! NOTE: While Revival food hall is operating on temp hours which closes early (3pm), the Art of Dosa IS OPEN for delivery or pickup. Order thru Toast and call when you’re there and they bring it out!! I almost left before I realized they were still open so please call them.

One of the many good joins inside the building Service was fast but the folks could've been slightly more friendly may be Idli was soft and great. Dosa was good too and crispy! Sambhar was authentic but the chutneys were the best. Mango lassi too tasted great. Slightly expensive for the quantity and quality but once a quarter you can come here if you crave some south Indian food

This one is among many small restaurants in the Revival food court …. They open at 10:30 am but weren’t fully prepared, asked me to wait , they took my order and gave the food after 20 mins , everything was served in the disposables , I ordered masala dosa , it was yummy but had too much cabbage in the masala bhaji for the dosa , idlis and chutneys were good but sambar had too much Asafoetida, they had no coffee , whereas all the South Indian eateries serve coffee .They have both dine in and take away options

The Art of Dosa is inside the Revival Hall. I opted for the traditional Masala Dosa plate. The Dosa is very crispy and fermented (reminds me of the Ethiopian ingera). The curry, chutney, and soap were very flavorful but very salty. Limited menu but great options for vegans and vegetarians. Will try their dessert menu next time.

Excellent!! Vegan but the flavors and textures were on point that you won’t really be missing the Ghee. The variety of chutneys and sambar served was also good. The Mysore masala dosa was served with some cabbage which I didn’t really like but I didn’t mind it either! I had a special gunpowder masala with mine that I had never tasted before. I can’t wait to try the soychaap/vegan 65 dosa on my next trip. Hands down the best dosa in Chicagoland. You don’t have to go all the way to Devon to get your dosa fix.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Art of Dosa, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary journey. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their Masala Dosa Wrap. They put some pure Indian test in each Item. The service at Art of Dosa was also top-notch, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout my meal.

Modern Dosa..Indian delicacy They have good Dosa options and the food is really yummy. Food is tasty and well made. Art of Dosa really separates itself from other Indian restaurants. Food is made really well, as well as served nicely. Options are wide ranging. Gluten free and vegan options available. Recommend the Vegan 65 Dosa wrap, as well as the Ramen wrap!

Just stopped by Art of Dosa and it was amazing! Ordered 2 dosas and 1 idli plate for 2 people and we had a lot leftover! Pricey but you get a lot of food. It definitely reminded me of the dosa I grew up eating in India :)

I order/visit this place at least once ever week. Absolute fan. I love their Mysore masala dosa. Quality, price and taste is all 5/5. Good job keep up the quality... :) Being vegetarian I'm happy there is at least one Indian vegetarian restaurant in our neighborhood.

Impressed by the amazing flavors. The right amount of spice too. This is my first time trying and it won’t be the last. Our body feels wonderful. One of best lentil soups I have had to date. It’s a potato dish they have that’s really good too!

While service was just ok. The quantity of food was a good amount for what you pay. It’s not the best dosa out there but it’s conveniently located and not bad. Definitely worth going to especially for lunch.

The food here is so delicious!!! So much flavor, good portion sizes. Also - I was having a really bad day and feeling super down when I stumbled upon this place, and my brief interaction with the owner honestly turned my entire day around. I'm sure he's not even aware of this, as our conversation was quick, but his helpfulness, warmth, and sense of humor were really a godsend for me today. Will be back when I'm in the loop next.

Great presentation! I got the Masala Dosa. The cylindrical bread thingy was thin and crispy. The hummus was a little too spicy for me, but overall it was a tasty treat. It's a good lunchtime option.

Art of Dosa is definitely a good quick lunch option at Revival Food Hall. I had the Masala Dosa wrap which was cooked well but was a bit bland. The size was good for the price and the sambar was also delicious. Not the best I have had but for the price and convenience definitely a good lunch option!

Utterly delicious, crispy, flavorful dosas! The gunpowder spice blend that comes on the side is so good! Lovely staff and excellent food! I will definitely be going back!

I have been looking forward to eat here for some time now and I was not disappointed. This humble Southern Indian restaurant serves delicious dosas. I loved the people and the service. They were kind to offer me Rasam when I did not want the sambar and the Rasam was on point. The Dosa is delicious with the chutney and the spice mix we call gunpowder. This place should not be missed when in Chicago. I'll definitely be back.

Money worth spent on a creative byte of dosa on the other side of the world! Loved their dosa wraps, the crispy dosas, with amazing chutnies.

All of the negative reviews are completely unwarranted. This is a friendly and passionate team and the food is incredibly tasty and authenthic. Buffalo dosa is my favorite and the soups are great, too. Follow on instagram and support LOCAL VEGAN ❤️

I was at an account nearby and searched vegan cuisine. Art of Dosa was less than a block away. I was intrigued with selections upon reviewing the menu. My order was made fresh, as it took 10-15 minutes to prepare and serve. The food was really tasty. I'll be revisiting when I'm in the area.

Nice, small place inside a food hall. It has limited menu but great options for vegetarians/vegans. The dosa & chutney is great & very authentic but the sambhar was average. It is a little pricey, considering the quantity.

Not typical south Indian joint but a reasonable one. Food was good especially the red chutneys.. should improve the white coconut chutney taste and please accept cash.. not everyone has cards

First time trying Dosa so was not sure what to expect. Ordered the masala dosa plate which came with sambar soup, potato curry, chutney, and spice. The dosa itself was a little sour which was surprising.

This place is inside the revival food hall. There are no indications outside on the street to find it. We went here for dinner on a Friday. The food hall is pretty big and many other restaurants are also inside but most of them were closed when we reached. We ordered masala dosa and biryani. The food was ok. Masala dosa was better than biryani. We also ordered the south indian coffee shake. It turns out they are all vegan so they made the shake with coconut milk. This one is my fault, I should have checked if they are vegan. Good place to get a vegan ice cream or shake if you like those.

The first time my wife and I ordered, they had to cancel due to an unexpected staffing shortage. The owner personally apologized and offered to discount the next order. We got the food and it was absolutely delicious! Best masala dosa I've ever had. Amazing customer service and great food. We'll be ordering again!

This might be one of the best dosas I’ve ever had. Fresh, hot, crunchy, flavorful. A+. And the sides are anything but: the sambar is flavorful and the chutney and gunpowder were spot on. Too bad we didn’t get to sample any of the drinks: they weren’t available when we went.

Whether you're local to Chicago or just visiting, I highly recommend Art of Dosa. We're so lucky to have this restaurant in Chicago. Everything I tried was incredible, and I can't wait to bring others. It's locally owned, and clear that every decision was made intentionally to provide an unmatched dining experience. Art of Dosa instantly rose to the top of my list of go-to restaurants in Chicago!

Dosa was crispy, sabji and sambhar was great too. We went there for late lunch with an empty stomach. Their food did not disappoint us, we had a delicious lunch. The owner of the restaurant was freindly and talked to us after our lunch.

I am sorry to give a low review. But the taste of the Masala dosa which has received such high reviews was not at all delicious. Left the Sambar completely and just ate some of the shell of dosa and left all the Masala on side. Very disappointed in the flavor based on review. Excellent service and it is located in the food court of an office building. Nicely packaged though.
