I got caught in the rainstorm and had a flat on my bike. They were so kind to me and cared for my bike and let me hold it in the front. I ordered 3 tacos to go. They never made it home. AFTER EATING ONE, I had more to want from there only, I am there one time and it was the best experience I've ever had and will love to visit again and dine in. Everyone was courteous and caring. The cashier there was also very polite (and a knockout), the chef who made my tacos is very clean and professional. 10 stars. :) --edited. Hopefully you took it as a compliment.. I gave everyone a review and the add note is to acknowledge that your pros and some elements of your restaurant are complimentary but not only the cashier, everyone who was friendly and so that is what leads to a KO when you have the top person on the pyramid who is the most influential and everyone has the same persona so, just trying to give a better outlook on what people are thinking. I forgot to mention that Ken's place later on is recommended by my health professional and she who now lives in California has avoided cancer by eating there! For all of you folks who are vegan or in need of a new Diet, or want to eliminate your body of who knows what that causes unwanted health issues__ give this place a visit. My body felt energized after eating here and not run down. I am so amazed by how my health specialist knew about my random visit and you know the food is priced at a middle range for me but the portions were great. I didn't feel shorted. OK last edit, I promise, I felt the need to really add the most detailed information about my experience because normally when I eat out, the next day I feel tired or run down but folks, I woke up with energy. Bless you guys for your excellent service. I hope to be in that area after college as I was just passing by. I have been to other Kosner eating places but here I got my money's worth.

I'm a Philly girl, so I love my steak sandwiches. The Italian beef here is about as close as I can get to the real thing. It's got amazing! Ambience, the service is friendly, and the food is a good value. I came in 2017 first time, and made a special trip to come here when I returned over memorial Day 2022. Worth the trip to Skokie.

The highlight of my trips visiting Chicago. This Kosher restaurant is a classic throwback to the past. I love the nostalgia and the fact that everyone knows you there. This all goes without saying that the food is absolutely out of this world delicious!

Great restaurant, a staple of the community. The food is amazing, tasty, and always perfect. My family and I eat there all the time. The food never ceases to impress. Biting into their Buddy Burger or Turkey Burger takes you to meat heaven. It's perfectly seasoned and sauced right.

Kens Diner is a Family run business two brothers Ken and Dan have been running it for over 40 years! The food is fresh and delicious, using the very best meats. The service is friendly and considerate and the atmosphere is fun for the whole family! A true Chicago Classic. Once you try it youll be back for more.

Amazing atmosphere, with great food and even better customer service. The 70s sports bar theming goes hard, they were more than accommodating for my gluten-free wife, and it was definitely worth the 8hr drive from Toronto. Overall, 10/10 would def recommend to friend and foe alike.

Very friendly staff/owners, great options on the menu, a cute/cool/diner themed ambiance and everything I've had, even though it's always take-away, has been tasty. A gem, especially for kosher but for any diner from anywhere.

Ken and Danny have personally worked in the restaurant for 30+ years and are two of a kind! The famous burger buddy resides here. Orthodox Jewish people from all over the world come to try it, and I’ve never heard anyone who was disappointed! This is an old diner style and has plenty of delicious menu items. One of my favorites is their foot-long deli submarine sandwich.

New customer or veteran, Ken's always got a smile and there to make you feel like family. Great nostalgic diner feel with nice touches of vintage memoribilia and restorations strategically placed throughout. Food is always prepared and served clean and with the perfect doneness. Family friendly and fairly priced with plenty of space, it's always a pleasure to enjoy a a family outing at Ken's Diner & Grill!

I got the mixed beef sandwich and the chicken one, I think it's the red October? Absolutely fabulous. Next time I'll ask for the sweet potato fries well done and honey mustard on the chicken instead of brown/ Deli. Also the beef sandwich was great. Kids had burger buddies, love that they offer the onions sautéed. Free refills at the soda fountain. Come hungry! 4 sandwiches fed 3 people with leftovers for 80 bucks.

Stopped in for soup and a sandwich. The sandwich was great. The chicken soup was the most expensive, skimpy, watered-down soup I have ever been served. It was akin to a boulion cube in a cup of water.

They have great food and drinks. The employees are very helpful in regards to dietary restrictions. They also have amazing fountain drinks because they increase the amount of syrup and bubbles.

Always good. By far the best salad with grilled chicken I ever had. Ken's BBQ sauce is out of this world. Fun, and friendly atmosphere. I wish I lived a little closer to this restaurant.

I’ve been going here with family and friends for over thirty years. When I started going that burger was $5 with fries and all you could drink coke. Now it’s $17.99, no drink. Everything on that table combined for $95. Tastes just as good as 30+ years ago. Always fresh. Always good. Place could use some updating. But worth the trip if you visit Chicago/Skokie.

Love this place! Had dinner there tonight, the food was excellent (burger, Italian beef, and milkshake) and the couple that owns + runs it are the best, so friendly and hospitable. Great experience overall 👏
