This place is cool! I love that they have a cafe and a section to buy little trinkets or gifts for people. I purchased a fountain though, and I have no idea how to use it. I have not gotten a call back from the manager, so I am a bit disappointed by that. Also the prices of soil are a bit high as I can find the same soil I purchased for 19.99 for 9.99 elsewhere. Other than those things, it’s a nice place that’s worth checking out. They have some very nice plants and the staff is very helpful.

Need healthy indoor and outdoor plants, Good Earth Greenhouse has your potting needs. Quick stop in for easy care houseplants... walked out with some great shamrocks, succulents and "friendly plant to share". Love to watch plants propagate? Try the Pilea, their rapid roots can be easily removed and transfered to another pot. Great size leaves, easy care, semi-sun is ok.

Ordered a sympathy arrangement for delivery. I'm from out of town and was doing business over the phone. The staff was really great to work with, very accommodating and communicative. Well priced local garden center. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. I purchased some potting soil and a baby succulent.

It was ok. I went there for some non flour plants, but there were mostly flowers. Not a huge selection. Also they were out of the seeds that I wanted.

Beautiful place to take a stroll when searching for a plant . The plants are in good shape n condition. Reasonable prices. I found some airplants there I was in love with. Service is nice n friendly definitely a place to check out when looking for a different atmosphere to buy plants other then the big box stores.

I love this place. The employees are fantastic. They remember me each time I visit. When I'm there, I feel like the only customer around! Personalized attention and they are super knowledgeable. If you buy a plant and a pot, they will replant it for you. I've bought many plants there and they are excellent quality.

Was in a rush for Valentine’s Day ad they not only stayed open late but customized the bouquet for me. Really appreciated their patience and going out of their way to accommodate my needs (much more than they needed to)! Flowers were absolutely gorgeous and in great shape.

I found Good Earth online and called with questions, I live out of town and needed a Greenhouse in the River Forest area. The staff was amazing and the service was professional and timely. They went above and beyond to make my purchase easy and product choices were perfect. I highly recommend them!

Each time my mother-in-law visits, I like to put fresh flowers in her room. Her favorite flower is daisies--yellow to be specific. I usually have a hard time finding them and was got lucky here!

I noticed the greenhouse as I was driving and pulled in thinking to see what they had for Christmas trees, they didn't have what I wanted but had a wide selection outdoors, with plants and knick knacks and a wide variety indoors, everyone was friendly and helpful, they have a little Cafe in there as well, I didn't have time to stay but will go back and check it out.

For the positive, they sell smoothies and some other simple foods, and their smoothies are amazing, I love them. For the negative, This wouldn't be the first place I go for gardening stuff it's probably 2nd, after Empowering Gardens if they don't have what I am looking for. The prices at this place are a bit higher than one might want, and service can be slow at times. They truly do have a great selection, and they are open year round, if it's winter go to this place before you go to home depot or Walmart or something like that.

My food was given to me in a plastic bag with dirt all over it. However, the plants were very healthy and grew well.

Great greenhouse even in the winter months. Good selection of lush, well cared for house plants. Friendly, helpful staff. Can't wait to see the spring selection!

For the second year in a row my live Christmas tree is dropping zillions of needles and not drinking water the day after purchase. I went back to talk to the manager and was told I was a lying and I needed to bring the tree back for him to examine if I wanted a refund, never mind the logistical challenge of that. I have spent a good amount of money here over the past couple years (despite consistently blah experiences) but as of this they have lost a customer for life.

Incredibly friendly staff that made me want to return. Loved that I could get a cup of Big Shoulders coffee or a smoothie and walk around looking at all the beautiful plants.

Decent selection of both house plants and outdoor plants, but very over priced in my opinion (especially the houseplants). Also, never ask them to repot any plants for you when you by them. I've had two plants repotted by them and they died shortly after purchase without my even touching them.

Beautiful fall plants, broom corn, indian corn, corn stalks, and hay bales combined with garden decor and a cafe makes for an enjoyable shopping experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is easily assessable. A true gem in Forest Park.
