Worst customer service. My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary and we were excited it was our first time at Prime Steak House. Employees made it horrible. First thing we ordered salad and it was not fresh. Manager said the “refrigerator was not working” why did you serve it at the first place? Would you eat it? Worst customer service I have ever had. They could’ve fixed it and they didn’t even apologize AT ALL. I couldn’t believe the waitress and the manager were ignorant and unprofessional. And when I was leaving by the exit the manager was like “the temperature is ##” He meant the refrigerator temperature is very low. Again no sorry, no apologies, nothing very rude. Will never go to Prime Steak. I would rather go to Long Horn is away cheaper and food and customer service phenomenal.

Not sure if it was just today but the steak had no flavor and the Mac and cheese was watery the broccoli was dry. My first time and last. Only the creme of chicken and bread was good. My server was very nice but $200 for what was given was not worth it

Food that I got had no flavor even the mushrooms were really bland. The service was below average. They served us our appetizers, soups, and salad then about a minute later they served the main course knowing that we were all still not even a quarter of the way done with our appetizer. Even the cheesecake tasted like they bought it from jewel. We just had a terrible experience with the food. Won't be coming back to this place.

We had a good tyyyme💯 This was by far the most 5 star restaurant. The floor was clean and the ambiance gave luxury. I loved everything about this experience. Oh the bill was a A1 credit car note 😅🤣🤣🤣 my daughter had the lobster tail with wild rice and broccoli. I had lamb chops with mash potatoes and we shared the broccoli.

Let me start off by saying the food was fantastic. I had the Lamb chops and my wife had the filet mignon. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides are definitely shareable with the table so don't over do with the sides lol. I can't wait to go back here. A++ Prime!! And the entire staff wore masks the whole time if you care about that.

My husband and I Came here for five year wedding anniversary and had a great dinner. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend The spicy shrimp as well as the salmon, au gratin, and bread pudding. The owner was very welcoming as well! Best steakhouse in surrounding Chicago area

My family and I made a reservation for this place to celebrate one of our birthdays. This was our first time dinning here. When we first arrived everything was good. Our table was ready the drinks were excellent. We had two waiter. George and Matt, George was very professional and attended to us well. Matt was also until it came to our food. It started when my brother order a burger with bacon and the burger and bacon came burnt. He told Matt that he wasn't going to eat a burnt burger and bacon. Matt response as if he was suppose to eat it anyway. Then It came to my wife stake. She order her stake medium when she received it, it was medium-well. So she sent it back to get to get a new stake the way she order it. He came with the new stake and it was still cooked medium well. He goes on to say that it is medium and that the way you all eat your stakes. He ask her if she wanted the manager, she told him no, he process to him get him anyway. The manger come and he told her that the stakes is medium. So then he starts to poke at her food as if it was going to change the way the stake was cooked. I ask for the bill immediately because I wanted to leave that establishment the situation with the waiter Matt was very unpleasant and it felt racist. The manger did however take her stake off the bill and I told him to take half of the tip off and be sure to give the more professional individual his potion. Most of our food that we did recieved was horrible, no favor, horrible cut off stake. All who order stakes, they came out charred. We order the cowboy rib eye which was small and had a lot of fat on it. We will never go to this place again

We had the best time here! The atmosphere is just the right balance of sophisticated and relaxed. The service is amazing. We were very well taken care of. And the food... incredible! From the ranch dressing on the salad to the tender steak to dessert, everything was absolutely wonderful. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or have a nice night out, you can't go wrong here!

The attention to detail from this team is top notch. Anthony made us feel like family. His recommendation of the cowboy cut steak was amazing, best steak we've ever had. Accompanied with an amazing wine recommendation and topped off with the best cheesecake, this was a perfect dinner. Food was worth it alone but the service and atmosphere is what really made us fans. Thank you!!

It was Christmas Eve, and nowhere to go, and not much was open. We found Chicago Prime Steakhouse. The service was wonderful and very friendly, the owner came to our table introduced himself, and had some hors d’oeuvres sent to our table. We had a fabulous time:)) and look forward to our next visit!!

Friendly, beef I ordered was porterhouse. I've ordered medium and I know how difficult it is to cook a thick and T-bone to perfectly prepare medium, but overall chef did a fantastic job cooking it. And also my waitress was so friendly.

What an amazing experience. The food was fantastic. My steak diane was cooked perfectly. Our server Martha was very attentive to our table. The owner of the restaurant checked up on us many times. My wife and I will definitely be going back

If your looking for really good food in the susburbs, than look no further Chicago Prime Steakhouse! It’s been 16 years coming to Chicago Prime Steakhouse and not once have we ever been disappointed on the server. Especially Sam, such a friendly and great server, we appreciate the hospitality and great service. Thank you so much to the all the staff for always being so attentive and friendly.

Went to Chicago Prime today for dinner with a party of 21 people total. We had reservations and it was Saturday so we expected it to be busy. We were all seated by 6:45pm and put in our orders around 7:10pm. Then the waiting game begin. Our food finally arrived at 9pm!! We were starving and frustrated. None of us ordered any appetizers and were just waiting on our steaks. Oh and they forgot 3 of our orders. So the 3 of us order again and 45 minutes later we get the WRONG steak!! Now it’s 10pm and 18 are finished eating and the remainder 3 of us are stuck with incorrect steaks we didn’t want. At this point, We decided to eat whatever was given to us but as you can see from this picture, the steak looked and tasted like it was boiled in water. Absolutely ridiculous! Long story short, it was a bad experience and even the 18 who got their food after 2 hours were annoyed and honestly the steaks were just average quality tonight. Will not be going back. Highly disappointed in Prime Chicago. Feel like we all wasted our hard earned money

My prime rib was ordered medium rare and came out waaaaaay over. About med well is what was served. The kid that waited on us was brand new and didn't come back by the table for a while but when he did, I told him the steak was definitely overdone but I didn't want to wait for either steak as we hadn't eaten all day after being at a convention for work all day. He apologized but I don't think he ever told a manager as none ever came by and asked about the overdone steak. We then got the bill and the were charged the full amount for the overdone steak. No huge deal just a little disappointed with the food.

Excellent food and service by Tara our server and staff.We were not rushed and really enjoyed our steaks,oysters Rockefeller,bruschetta,salads,cheesecake.Excellent birthday dinner for my husband.

First time here. The service was ok, wasn’t given side plates even though we ordered 2 sides and had to ask for plates, took 10 minutes to get my drink order(bartender was busy), I ordered the calamari which had great texture but over breaded, while halfway through my soup my entree came. I was told that they are know for their prime rib and it was excellent. The service and wait times affected this rating, for the money I paid I expect better.

I am in town for work and couldn’t decide which highly rated steak house to order from, but then I saw Chicago Prime had prime rib and I ordered it rare, along with lobster Mac and cheese and crème brûlée. The prime rib was medium well and tough as hell. The lobster Mac was ok as was the crème brûlée. They sent a hearty bread with no butter and no silverware even though I checked it. Horribly disappointed, had I been dining it it would’ve gone back as soon as I laid eyes on that prime rib. I’ve attached a pic of the prime rib. I’ll likely call them tomorrow.

One of my favorite restaurants in Schaumburg. Shrimp de jonghe, brick chicken, steak and cake. Beef Wellington, yum! They have the best key pie!

Nice location. Great staff and customer service. Went here for a business dinner, and booked a reservation for 6 on open table. Wasn’t busy when we got there, but by time we left all tables I saw were full. If you’re wanting a nice corporate dinner would recommend this place.

Service was superb from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the maitre'd and owner. Very classy old world style and vibes. Our server was also fantastic. Food and wine were quite good as well. Overall, excellent meal in a classic Chicago steakhouse ambience. Not cheap but a good steakhouse usually isn’t.

Service was impeccable with well prepared meals for all six of us. Generous proportions led to a relaxing cadence. Wine list has a broad selection with some very nice choices even at moderate price points. An excellent option for entertaining colleagues from overseas.

Fantastic steak. We both got the filet mignon (medium) and it was excellent. It came with sauce on the side but honestly that was unnecessary. The steak on its own was flavorful and juicy. Potatoes were solid; broccoli was, well, broccoli. Bread beforehand was decent. We got the chocolate cake to go and would not recommend it. The waitress didn’t show us a dessert menu (and we couldn’t find one online), so we didn’t realize it had some kind of berry sauce on top. Additionally, the cake was three layers: chocolate frosting, chocolate mousse, and chocolate cake. That last layer (cake) was incredibly dry and had no flavor, kind of ruining the rest of the experience. Aside from the food - there was live music which was entertaining and transported us to a different era. The waitress was reasonably attentive. The owner stopped by to chat with us for longer than he needed to - as if he needed to at all - and then cleared our plates for us. Very friendly guy. Overall, good experience. Just don’t get the cake!
