Woodland Park is a great place to bring the kids to play. They have multiple playgrounds, public restrooms, basketball courts, and halls you can rent. It's definitely a relaxing place to come too. They have a dog park to bring your furry friend to run and play

Such a gorgeous park! There are so many things to do for all ages. Skate ramps, two different playgrounds, gazebo, multiple picnic areas, dog park, clean restrooms. Would definitely recommend for anyone:)

Good for sledding in the winter time. Parking lot was plowed and hill was good to go. Kids loved it. And best of all it's free.

Very nice park with a walking path. For fellow #railfans there is a CSX mainline with a diamond and frequent traffic out of Chicago.

Great dog parks with plenty of space for the pups to run around! And then my son loves playing at the playground going down slides and swinging and being spun in a circle! Not bad at all

It is a great park, I try to go there almost every day for at least an hour, my dog loves it but there is definitely a lot of issues with the small size area people that won't let me in with my pit that's a puppy and under 50 pounds. They stop me from going in and it happened multiple times, If I am allowed in there people should not stop me from entering just because I owe a "Pitbull" it is wrong and next time I will force my way in with my Pitbull because this is ridiculous. Happy or not you don't come to the park if you can't handle other breeds beside you own.

It has a great dog park, separated into big dogs and small dogs. There's also a great playground for kids near the dog park. There's at least one more little playground. There are picnic/shelter areas for parties and one or more halls that can be rented out for events. The whole park is beautiful and has plenty of hills and space to run around.

Playground is nice, but its a bit of a workout navigating the rest of the park.

The park itself was beautiful and they always keep the upkeep ! The park itself is 5/5 but the haunted hayride tonight 2022 is the one star for me. The food was great. We stood in the line for almost 2hrs and then once we got on the hayride we was cramped together , nobody really had space neither the older people that got on there . Then going thru the hayride we didn't really stop at all. The only part we stopped on was the clowns and the rest we just blew thru. Then one of the scare zone area the people was packing up and literally just waved at us. It was a lot of places and opportunities for scare actors but we blew pass everybody. Totally disappointed

Great place for doggies to have fun and socialize. Their mommy's and daddy's have a good time too.

Thank you Woodland Park for hosting my beautiful and fun reception!! I recommend Woodland Park to anyone hosting an event!. The front desk answered all my questions and let me stop in anytime (during open hours). You pay for what you get and I couldn’t be happier with the way our night turned out!

Not my favorite park in Portage. Things are always broken things (a ladder unattached from the ground, a slide boarded up, a climbing toy cracked). It’s also a little “tucked away” so personally I don’t like to be there alone. This last visit one of the small kid slides was covered in spray paint graffiti. There always seems to be garbage left behind.
