Just making the appointment was a nightmare. Transferred three times to make the appointment! All three sounded like they didn't like me or their jobs! One to greet, one to make appointment, and one to verify insurance! Really, 3 people having a bad day! Last, why do I need a referral if I have a PPO! I made an appointment in 2 minutes at Hope Advocate with no problems. -No referral needed BTW!

If it wasn't for the Nurse and Doctor I would've given it one star. It makes absolutely zero sense why no one who works the phones have no idea where to direct calls. I shouldn't have to go through loops to get a call back about test results. Very dissatisfied with the professionalism. I would expect a place like this to hand select the front line team that set the initial tone with patients.

This location is highly disorganized. I waited with my family for several hours before I was told we would have to go to the emergency room. Then we had to take an ambulance to the main hospital because they wanted to protect themselves from any “liability” even though our child was perfectly fine. They never called in to the main hospital to provide records. Their excuse was no one at the main hospital picked up, so they hung up. Hence, when the ambulance arrived, they had to redo our child’s vitals. We were there so long we ran out of milk and this location did not have any formula. My child is a newborn and will only eat 1 ounce when breastfeeding. So after breastfeeding, my husband ran to the nearest drugstore to grab formula which we normally won’t give her. We waited another 1/2 before the ambulance came and it took 20 minutes before we left with ambulance after they arrived. Lesson learned, never come here again.

Horrible place to go and waste of time. The doctor sent me to the ER since they they were closing. I had an appointment but she didn't want to help and take the time. Instead she sent me to the er for something minor like ultrasound that they would of done at the office. I was sent to the ER & was there for 24hrs!

They tell you to be there 20 minutes before your appointment just to make you wait another hour to be called. I wonder if they mix up appointments because we arrived as we were told and people arriving after us were called before us. We were not called in until we made them notice of this situation. Once you are in the room that’s another long wait. Don’t they realize it’s a children’s clinic and they can not wait sitting on a stroller for hours???You can only restrict a toddler for so long before they want to walk around or run?

I have been coming here for about almost seven years. My son who is Autistic and has Tetrology of Fallot has been coming her since he’s been a month old. Dr. Camarda Is his cardiologist. He’s just amazing!!!!! Major also sees Kevin in OT (occupational therapy) who is simply fantastic as well!!! Elise (augmentative speech therapy) is great too. He also sees the Neurodevelopment department too, that team is amazing as well! Gloria, the clerk who works in the cardiology area is very nice and extremely helpful too!! I really love the supports I get here for my son. Thank you guys for help making my life with a special needs child a bit easier!! 💓🫶🏽🙏🏽

First off got there early around 2ish my appointment was @3. Wasn't called in until 3:45 it took longer for them to call me than what I lasted with the doctor. Secondly there was a Caucasian man that worked for the facility that approached a child and started playing with him and showing him different puppets. My 15 month old was intrigued by the different toys he had. Not once did he make any contact with my child. Once he was done i figured he would come and play with my daughter but made it a point to avoid my 15 month to go to the other little boy sitting behind me. I found this to be the most absurd thing ever. I don't want to make this about race but clearly it was! I sat there and watched him interact with the child and walked away. Finally the good part receptionist was very nice and friendly. There was an Amazing lady handing out books to the children. My kids got some wonderful books. Her approach towards kids & parents was great. She made it a point to interact with everyone and gave the children a book fit to their liking. My children sat there and read the books while we waited.

Just an unbelievably bad experience. We scheduled a COVID test for our 9 month old, and when we arrived at the scheduled time (12:25pm on a Friday), there was literally nobody there. No one answered the phone, impossible to get ahold of anyone. We had to wait an hour until "they were back from lunch". With a 9 month old.

Lurie’s has a few good doctors but it’s not worth the hassle of waiting hours on end just to see a doctor for 10 minutes of a conversation when you have been waiting hours just for the nurse to call your name and put you in a room for another 40 minutes this place is a mess and joke and should be investigated to see what these so-called busy doctors and nurses doing that they can’t see patients in a timely manner it’s ridiculous! I should have stuck with rush!

I had an appointment for my two years old and came 19 minutes late because of traffic and because I couldn’t easily find the correct reception. The receptionist told me that I was too late. I never got an email for the appointment which maybe had the information about this policy nor was it mentioned during the “make an appointment” process online. When they have you wait more than 15 minutes for the doctor they don’t care but when the patient is late they do. The receptionist didn’t care at all. Last time I’ll use this especially not for my young children.

I love this place!! I love the care my children receive when I take them the convenient care clinic, we are always in and out, and the doctors are so much better than the family practice doctors. All of the staff is amazing!!!!

This office gets your kid in for an examination quickly and their doctors are phenomenal. It's great that there is an urgent care dedicated to kids in our area.

The occupational therapist my nephew has been going to Sarah Parks has been a major help for him. She goes above and beyond to make sure my nephew is being helped without making daily tasks feel like chores for him. He’s progressing so much and has been much more communicative! Thank you so much Sarah, you’re amazing!

You will be waiting hours even if you have an appointment, you will have almost zero access to a doctor outside of the regular hours just to name a few.... This location needs to reassess their approach to their patients and think about how their poor work ethic reflects on Lurie.

Absolutely hate this place and their staff. I had give birth at Northwestern in Huntley, where my insurance was accepted, only to be billed as an outpatient by these people?? No one told me/warned me and now I’m forced to pay a place or people I NEVER went to or agreed to use? Ridiculous.

😠 The doctor was really nice but the nurse staff and front desk staff have no idea what they're doing. 👍👍 I’m actually flabbergasted at how incredible of an experience this was for me. This is the absolute first time I had a covid test of any kind. So I was already apprehensive as I was going in. I didn’t know what to expect. Then, to find that it was self administered. I got slightly more anxious. That...
