(They wonā€™t let me post pictures or videos, check out my Facebook, Micaela Wire, for visual information) Well, it took me a while to post this reviewā€¦ itā€™s been very traumatic for all of us and weā€™ve received absolutely nothing in return for compensation for our time, pain and suffering.. but this hospital is horrible, ESPECIALLY the ER.DR KENNETH HEIDLE. I brought my daughter in when she was unable to walk and had been throwing up for DAYS and they didnā€™t run ONE single test on her but vitals and tested her for covid and the flu, OF COURSE because thatā€™s all they care about now a days. My TWO year old daughterā€™s brain was swelling and we had to call 911 10 hours later after being at the ER in the waiting room for 3 hours and then only in an ER room for an hour (mostly waiting) to be seen and then paperwork to be released.. THEY DID NOTHING BUT PRESCRIBE HER ZOFRAN for ā€œnauseaā€ but donā€™t you think if a TWO YEAR OLD is throwing up for days you wouldnā€™t want to try and STOP them from throwing up but instead FIGURE OUT WHY SHES THROWING UP AND CANT WALK. I called lawyers and everything but funny and sad thing is you cannot sue a doctor unless LIFETIME PERMANENT INJURY was sustained, but people all over sue all the time who do not and will not have an injury for the rest of their life but still acquire hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars for their suffering.. but what did we get for our trauma and suffering through out that whole night my daughter suffered and was slowly dying because of this doctor? NOTHING. All they did was tell me that they ā€œtold the doctor about the situationā€ what does that do? How can a doctor learn his lesson without DISCIPLINARY action? They straight up told me a child who has been puking for days and has the side effects my daughter had itā€™s PROTOCOL TO DO BLOOD WORK. So my daughter and what she went through doesnā€™t matter. what I went through as a mother and father doesnā€™t matter, the moment I had to call 911 and when we were in the ER before the diagnosis I THOUGHT MY DAUGHTER WAS DYING. Overnight after we got back from the ER the first time she became so dehydrated and sick that when the ambulance brought us to the hospital the second time it took the nurses HOURS to get IVs started so she was in pain being pricked and poked for hours because DR HEIDLE didnā€™t want to do one simple blood draw or even finger prick on her the night before. After everything, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and was experiencing severe diabetic ketosis. I still have nightmares and so does she. This world is not fair on who gets to sue and who doesnā€™t. If malpractice is in the picture, anyone should be liable for compensation with or WITHOUT a lifetime injury, my daughterā€™s CONDITION got WAY WORSE because of this doctor. More action towards this doctor should have been taken. Iā€™ve lost money because of this, Iā€™ve lost peace because of the way this was handled by the doctor. I feel like Iā€™ve lost everything. And this doctor just gets to go about his life without truly understanding the effects his malpractice has on REAL peopleā€™s lives. Itā€™s sick the privileges they have to screw up and have it blown over just because theyā€™re a ā€œdoctorā€ so high and mighty but out here making peoples lives harder instead of easier. Iā€™m not a doctor but if ANY BABY came into my ER with those symptoms I 100% would have done LABS. Its literally common sense so how can a DOCTOR mess that up??? He needs to be fired and sued. My daughter is alive today because of ME, if it was all up to the doctor, sheā€™d be dead. If I didnā€™t call 911 and bring her back in, she would have died.

Please, for the love of god. Do NOT have your baby here. The nurses are neglectful and when called out on it they make it worse. If you are recovering from a C-section. They will make you take care of your baby the whole time and won't give you your pain meds. I edited this post to say they are not sorry!. Worst place to go.

My Wife and me brought my 7yo for appendix surgery, and they refused to let his grandfather or twin brother to come up to his recovery room due to the new 2 visitors PER DAY rule. They count both Mother and Father as visitors. We are not visitors we are his creators! Great Nurses and Surgeon but front entrance staff and their policies are ridiculous! I will not be bring my children there ever again!

ER.DR KENNETH HEIDLE sent my baby home with just a prescription for zofran without running labs or correct diagnosis while she was having a deadly Diabetic Ketoacidosis episode. Had to call 911 only hours after being sent home as my daughter was actively dying in our arms at home and we knew something was seriously wrong and that she was misdiagnosed and a victim of malpractice.

Usually I love this hospital. But today they dropped the ball. Admitted my mom for surgery. All was just fine. They had my phone number in case they needed to reach me while I went to get food. They called and left a voicemail to call them back AND LEFT THE WRONG NUMBER. When I called the number they left it was for another company and that extension was no longer in service. Now Iā€™m worried because they were asking about allergies during surgery. I finally make my way back to admit area and nurse on phone said ā€œ oh sorryā€. Second ball drop: I was in waiting room. Doc comes out says she is in recovery and someone will get me when she gets moved to a room. I wait and wait. Finally after an hour and ten minutes I find my way to nurses station to inquire. Find out she was moved 45 minutes prior AND THEY FORGOT TO TELL ME! Twice in one day I was made to have undue stress and anxiety. Not your best performance Froedtert!

Brought my two year old daughter into the ER with every symptom of Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Throwing up for days, sleeping ALL day, drinking tons of water, very heavy & huffing breathing, weakness with not able to walk etc etc etc, ER.DR KENNETH HEIDLE sent us home without running labs on her just prescribing her ā€œZofranā€ to stop the throwing upā€¦.but realistically If a baby is throwing up for more than 24 hours, especially for days, itā€™s protocol to run labs and diagnose WHY the baby is throwing up so much instead of trying to STOP the symptom.. she was obviously throwing up for a reason and trying to basically put a small ā€œband aidā€ over a ā€œcompound fractureā€ so to speak is deadly. My daughter almost died, we had to call 911 just 10 hours after being sent home. Glad we followed our parenting instincts and knew something was seriously wrong and it definitely wasnā€™t just a stomach bug. With a stomach bug, a child will not throw up for more than 24 hours and they will NOT sleep ALL DAY without much continuousness.(Look up Micaela Wire on Google or Facebook for visual review of the situation)

Went to take a tour of the birthing unit. Our tour guide was funny, personable, and detailed, and walked us throughout the floor, explaining the birthing inn and every wing of the floor. He introduced us to staff we passed and explained their duties in the birthing unit. He answered all of our questions concisely. Everything looked extremely clean and well-kept, and comfortable not only for the mother, but for visitors as well. He showed us the different entrances, the options for guests staying, and went over the purpose of every item and feature in each room. There is a whirlpool tub for mothers who are going to or already have given birth.

Nursing staff on the 2nd floor are the worst in the industry. I would give zero stars if I could. So bad that I have to contact the executive leadership team to let them know.

I had day surgery today 6/6/22 in the am. Everyone from the moment I walked into the Outpatient surgery doors, I was treated with the utt most respect. The staff the personally took care of me make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Not nervous. From my Anesthesiologist to my surgeon, to the surgical assistant to the rest of the surgical staff, I so appreciate the care and support you all gave me. I appreciate all of you.

This is unbelievable the hospital hire those kinds of doctors work here. My primary doctor transferred to another hospital so that I have a different doctor name is M.Ahmed located at our prairie Ridge building directly behind pleasant Prairie hospital at 9697 st.catherine drive, pleasant Prairie he was a horribliest doctor you can't believe. I had a sore thoat a couple of weeks and I made an appointment with him. My appointment at 1pm, he came in the room 1:45, I have to looking for him twice, but nobody helped me. He came in just looked computer and said he can't help anything, I said, my teeth hurt I need see a dentist and he said you just go, I said do you need referre me? He said no. Then I said I have dizzying, headache, my underarm has some nuts so I need to check my lymph, he didn't know what the lymph, then stand up said if you don't satisfied call the complaint number, I said i did already. I called the complaint number three times buy nobody answered and I left a message, it's already one week still nobody answer me. The nurse was also so rude we didn't finished but she came in then the doctor ran aways. This doctor must not work here, he didn't know anything, he even doesn't know how to referre patients to different departments, I was a nurse before so I know those stuff. Very rude to me and 45 minutes delayed, after came in didn't say sorry to be late, just came in didn't look at me, what the he'll you doing? This is hospital. Mohamad, where are you come from? So rude and stupid. I hope if you read message call me as soon as possible, otherwise, I will contact the president of this hospital , he was horrible and nurse too, he works in the college building the 4th floor. The second horriblest service in this hospital is the relationship with customers the one who name Jimmy, she is woman working with complain, she doesn't help anything, you told Her what's going on and in the end she just answered me thank you for letting me know, have a great day, I left message about 6 times and I told her my phone number every time, but she called after two weeks and said she called the wrong number, when customers didn't help , we want somebody can be there for us, but this Jimmy doesn't help anything, that's why those doctors can be arrogant like that. I want somebody can contact me to discuss what going on with the hospital service

My doctor told me to go the ER as I tested positive for Covid and am having trouble breathing and terrible chest pain. No masks and the front desk was rude and one of them sat playing on her phone. Someone else came in having terrible chest pains and left him sitting until he yelled loud enough and they came out and got him before me. I left and drive into IL. I wonā€™t feel comfortable going here for an emergency.

Since November 28th, my father has been a patient at this hospital in room 2211, and Iā€™ve been visiting him every other day. My concerns about the hospitalā€™s cleanliness have grown with each visit. The garbage cans in his room are overflowing, and the same trash has been on the floor for several days. Nobody has been by to clean his room either! You can tell by the trash cans and stains on the floor. On my recent visit, I was appalled to find my father neglected, lying in his own feces for hours. Heā€™s currently suffering from a low immune system with a severe infection, and the filthy conditions of the hospital are likely exacerbating his health issues. Despite this, there seems to be no effort to diagnose the cause of his infection, with only a cream prescribed and no proper tests conducted. Itā€™s alarming that he hasnā€™t had a shower in several days or been cleaned, especially considering he has open wounds from surgery, and he appears to be suffering from an allergic reaction to medication, which isnā€™t being adequately addressed. The restroom in his room was in a deplorable state, an extreme Iā€™ve never seen in any hospital before. There was some kind of body fluid on the door frame and wall that my mother cleaned up herself. While some nurses are competent, others seem to treat their responsibilities with indifference. The poor standard of care, particularly considering the costs, is utterly unacceptable.

Worst hospital experience ever my brother had a horrific car accident and was treated up in SICU where donā€™t get me wrong the night nurse and physician where great. But once it came to the morning staff they where incredibly rude I will never forget the nurse JEN who treated my brother and family with no respect during his end of life. ā€œThatā€™s above my pay gradeā€-jen is a phrase she used when my grieving self asked a simple question considering I work in healthcare myself in the state of Illinois this is a very unethical phrase to use especially when thereā€™s a dying patient ā€œthats not in my scope of practiceā€ wouldā€™ve been the right words. Jen treated my grieving family with attitude and was rushing my family out. Letā€™s not forget her wanting to stop care before my brother even passed and as our family wishes we said we will not disconnect anything until his own time comes. Jen was my brothers nurse on the date of November 13th on 2023. Waiting area staff was incredibly rude as well.

I went to the er for two cat bites and they didnā€™t offer any help or assistance for what was going on i would recommend finding any place but this terrible hospital. Heather Barrett was the worst nurse Iā€™ve ever encountered

I think Dr. Knight deserves an award. Both Dr. Knight and his team went above and beyond for me. I also have known other people who have used Dr. Knight and was very pleased with him. I'm forever grateful for Dr. Knight and his team.

I would like to thank you all doctors and nurses that took care of me while I had an acute gallbladder surgery. From the beginning at ER to the day I was able to go home. I loved my nurse button, because everytime I needed anything they were right there. Being in pain is not fun and to deal with someone who is in pain is not easy at all. I asked nurses if they like their job and the answers varied form it's ok to I love it. For them it is a job; however for the patient it might be a life or death situation. In my opinion it is very hard to be a care giver and not everyone can do it. So I am grateful for those that are doing it the best way they can. šŸ¤

I was admitted to cardiac care, there was no beds available. So I stayed in the e.r. A longer time. The medical staff were wonderful, checking on me frequently and kept me up to date on my care. I was given a room and everyone on the floor nurses and aideā€™s were wonderful.never treated me negatively. Rooms clean and the Doctors were friendly and explained everything to me for my continual treatment.

I was recently diagnosed with cancer. I had surgery to remove the cancer then needed radiation treatments. At the time I did not know that I was going to be taken care of by the best medical team that there was. Let me start at the front desk. After my treatments started and they got to know me I would walk up to the counter and was told with a smile that I was already checked in Ricky. Then I met the Radiation therapists Ben, Ryan, Marie and Melissa. One of the most terrifying experiences I have ever had to do was get fitted for a radiation mask. I panic! I could not finish the mask. They were very understanding Dr Khater came out and said he could provide me with something to relax me while having my treatments. Which help. But if it wasn't for my very special team of radiation therapist for being so loving, caring, understanding, compassionate and helpful throughout my treatments I would have never gotten through all 25 of them. No matter how bad or good I did there was always words of encouragement. At the end of each treatment they would tell how well I did. These 4 wonderful and amazing people are without a doubt are MY HEROS! Once a week I would met with Dr. Khater and his two nurses Karen and Diana. There not enough kind words to be said about the care I received by these people. Always asking question about how I was feeling and offered ways to help me get through the tuff times I was going through. They took the time to explain to my wife and I about any questions or concerns we had. There are not enough stars on this scale to rate the experience that I have had at Froedtert South. The Management team should at least take a moment out of their time a let everyone know how great they are doing at their jobs. To all once again thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting me through one of the toughest times in my life. Forever Grateful, Ricky L Lawrence.

My father is terminally Ill. His new oncologist Dr. Knight, has went out of his way to visit my father in his hospital room and discuss things with us as a family and in a way my elderly father can understand. I was under the false impression that if I wanted good care for my father I needed to be at Froedtert in Milwaukee and only there. I was so wrong. I have never felt more comfortable and more secure leaving my loved one in a hospital. My entire family says the same. From the physicians and nurses in the emergency room to the staff on floor 2 in med/surg, I cannot say Thank you enough. I am so beyond thankful for this hospital and the kind demeanor provided to us as a family. As far as Dr. Knight, what a wonderful doctor. I would recommended him to anyone with cancer, what an amazing man.

Terrible service. 3.5 to 6 hour wait inside the emergency room with your loved ones. They closed another hospital nearby, and did not plan accurately or with caution to handle emergencies at this location.. Poor planning and execution of closer by their leadership. Im sure they might be good people, however i dont think this reflects well on Catherine Jacobson or Eric L. Conley's leadership. My wife fainted. Was in severe pain, had difficultues breathing, and we waited a very long time to be seen in their emergency rooms (twice in one week).

My doctor just does blood tests for annual. Not follow through on telling me significance of it or mail me results when they said they would. And good luck figuring out for yourself. Phone people are rude and cut you short on purpose. They know what they're doing. I hope I don't get sick with them.
