Terrible experience with them. My husband scheduled an appointment for intake, they sent him an intake form to fill out. He went to fill it out but it was expired/not working so he called them and they told him to work with his doctor to get a new link during his first visit. After waiting literally weeks for the appointment (they scheduled him something like two months out from when he initially called), he waited in the online waiting room for 20-30 minutes and the doctor never came. He called the office repeatedly and no one answered. He finally called the organization's main number and they weren't much help either (as the person he actually reached simply offered to schedule a new appointment). He decided to go elsewhere since they weren't too eager for his business as a new client. THAT'S NOT ALL. Today we received a bill in the mail for a no show initial visit (EVEN THOUGH HE WAS THERE AND THE DOCTOR NO SHOWED). I called and after rooting around the main number's directory (which wasn't helpful in the least bit) found my way to a receptionist who said she couldn't help, blamed my husband for not filling out his paperwork (even though he literally couldn't) and transferred him to someone's voicemail who will probably never call me back. This place is an absolute scam and anyone with an actual license to practice here should have it removed. Reading through the other reviews, it seems they make a lot of money from people with this scam too. Avoid these people at all costs.

I would give this place a zero if I could. I spent two months trying to make an appointment. One month of phone tag since nobody ever answered the phone when I would call back. Today I went to the office and it was bad weather. They said there was a 15 min grace period. I walked in at the 16 min mark because the elevator took forever. They absolutely refused to see my daughter. We drove over an hour to get there They better not try to bill me. Itā€™s a horrible practice. Horrible system. They claimed my forms were not signed. I told them they absolutely were on my end. I told them my diaghyer needs help and they still refused. They are an embarrassment to the psych profession. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs

It has taken me over a year to recover from the mental anguish that Meridian caused. My therapist consistently questioned my ā€œdedication to healingā€ (I have a chronic illness that sometimes does not allow me to leave the house) and told me she was ā€œpissed off at meā€ during a session because I asked to go down to every other week to focus on my physical health. Not to mention, she placed guilt on me for everything I opened up about and gave me false information (told me 4 glasses of wine per WEEK was ā€œbinge drinkingā€) The front desk staff, specifically Dale, was rude and condescending. He truly made me dread arriving at my appointments each week. Shady business practices. I was covered under my husbands insurance, however they refused to bill his insurance. They would call and threaten me to pay out of pocket and I wound up thousands of dollars in debt and on the phone with insurance for 6+ hours each week to get reimbursed. The best thing I ever did was leave this practice. I didnā€™t even realize how bad it was until I found a therapist that explained how awful their treatment was. They will bully you, mentally, emotionally and financially.

Dr. Daniel Kim is one best doctors, really one of the best human beings Iā€™ve ever met. He is so patient and empathetic and kind-hearted. I have been a patient of his for almost five years and heā€™s guided me through the worst of times. I honestly canā€™t imagine what my life would be without him. Iā€™ll never be able to express my deep gratitude for his care.

It's a scam. My husband genuinely needed help. His appointment was made (and it was over a month to wait). He took the day off work. They texted a confirmation the week of. He arrived on time (early actually) for his appointment. Only to be told they cancelled his appointment because he didn't fill out the proper paperwork. They gave his spot to someone else (never notified him) and asked if he wanted to reschedule with someone else. Now understand this THEY cancelled his appointment, (he showed up to the appointment). They just sent us a bill for $200 saying he cancelled the appointment. Now they are trying to give him the run around and will not just admit their mistake. Is this who you want giving you therapy? Unprofessional and unethical. I am so disappointed and disgusted at behavior like this from people that you put your trust in. Scam artists.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My provider was clearly fresh out of medical school and did not know what she was talking about. I have had much more comprehensive understanding of mental health from primary care doctors. The office charged me a $200 cancellation fee for an appointment that was never confirmed and now seems to be refusing to call me back around this issue. I have been calling and leaving messages nearly every day for a week and have heard absolutely nothing. A complete disgrace or a medical establishment. I wouldnā€™t recommend this office to anyone under any circumstance.

I have been getting a bill for the full fee ($200 an hour,) for services rendered approximately 2 years ago. Despite having no idea they planned to charge full price for my last three sessions and no news that my insurance would not cover the last three, I had offered to pay my weekly expected fee and then was ignored for another full year before again being sent a bill for $600. There is no communication, no follow up, other than to say, "we don't know why you are only getting a bill 2 years late for 10 times what you paid, not our problem."

0 stars if I could. The doctor was rude, something which I have never experienced in my lifetime of meeting with tons of psychiatrists. I have never encountered a disrespectful doctor until I came here. The doctor told me he 'couldn't help if I was unwilling to disclose graphic details about trauma' that happened to me. Needless to say, I quickly realized this doc was unqualified to help and I left. Wish I read the reviews before wasting time here. There are SO MANY psychiatrists that are worth visiting, please don't waste your time here.

My therapist recommended me to this place when I indicated a likely need for a psychiatrist. I called and waited five days for a call back. They set me up with an appt more than a month away and today the doctor just called to cancel. Dr. Sawa made it abundantly clear she didn't care that I had already waited a month for the appt and did not express any interest in knowing whether I would have to wait another month for another appt. I let her know that I thought it was quite discourteous and she said, "Yeah, well, I have a schedule conflict." Was paired with Dr. Dhand following the previous debacle and she has been fantastic.

Terrible experience. I booked an appointment. I searched everywhere for the phone number. When I called to ask for the direct phone number for the appointment, the receptionist was rude, cut me off while speaking. They claimed the phone number was in the email and ā€œiā€ missed the appointment. I have screen shots that show otherwise, with no access to the previous documents. I then asked to cancel the appointment. I received a phone call from someone else entirely later on, not the doctor, and told I owe $200 for cancellation. They were also very argumentative. Even with my condition I was calm, honest, and collected, so their attitudes are unwarranted. Do not go here unless you have to.

Finally, a psychiatrist who truly listens and understands your needs! Dr. Daniel Kim is the FOURTH psychiatrist I have used since 2016 and I feel lucky to have found him. I first used a Doctor under my insurance (very limited psychiatrist resource pool), and was terribly unimpressed. Since my mental health was important, I decided to go the self-pay route and found two more doctors who both HEARD what I was saying, but didnā€™t truly listen or understand. Dr. Kim is different. He is kindhearted and a real person. When Dr. Kim expresses empathy, I can feel he truly means it and is not robotic like the others. He has helped me feel like a valued patient and I am very impressed with his knowledge of psychiatric conditions and the meds to treat them. My journey to good mental health is far from over, but I feel confident that by working with Daniel Kim, we will find a positive resolution.

Gabriella Waserstein was EXTREMELY rude and the front desk seemingly tries to make scheduling as difficult as possible. They donā€™t do any communication besides over the phone (which they never pick up) and take forever to respond. Poor availability and big attitudes all around.

Impossible to make initial appointments. Itā€™s been two weeks since I reached them out. I missed their call but whenever I tried to call them back it seemed that no one was there to return my call. I already asked them to send me an email to let me know when theyā€™d call me in my voicemails because they always called in odd working hours, but apparently listening is not their greatest skill.

completely useless institution and a waste of time. I called three times last week to schedule an intake. I filled out an online intake form. Got a call from an unrecognized cell phone on a late Saturday afternoon completely inappropriate and unexpected. Called this cell phone back on Monday and it didnā€™t even ring, the outgoing voicemail was not personalized. Left a voicemail. Called the intake # again twice yesterday. Called today. No answer. Why on earth would I trust them with my health???! Stay away!!ā€™

Extremely rude receptionist who you will never actually be able to reach. The actual care was good.

If you don't connect well or believe that your current provider at Meridian is a poor fit...or whatever else may be the case...Meridian will not allow you to see ANY of their multitude of providers. I know some of the providers there are quite good, but there are also some that have very poor "bedside manner". We were in a pinch and took the first person with availability. Now we are cut off from the entire practice unless we stick with an unacceptable provider. I believe this is borderline unethical given the lack of psychiatric providers and the high number of "cash-pay" providers out there. Now we are prohibited from choosing among the 26 other providers there. That's unacceptable. We will file a complaint with our insurance, but it probably won't help.

Horrible. Made an appointment with Gabriella Waserstein- sent in my paperwork. They didnā€™t upload or review my paperwork, so the appointment took too long and I needed a ā€œsecond intake appointmentā€. Scheduled that & took off work. I go to log in to it, and she sends me a message ā€œsorry I made an appointment with someone else at this time, reschedule. Not even a sorry. I still reschedule it, and she says that I am making her ā€œuncomfortableā€ by requesting a medication that I have taken for over 10 years, and have a psychological evaluation with a recommendation to take this medication from another psychologist. She says she will talk to my therapist, who also recommends I take this medication, so I sign the release of information and thereā€™s no follow up except for a ā€œpay your bill and give us your money when we did nothing for youā€ email. Thanks Meridian! Lesson learned- donā€™t go to a psychologist with a 2 star rating. This whole place is just worthless.

Doesnā€™t confirm or remind of appointments and then charged me $200. My second appointment was online and I was never sent a link so how was I supposed to show up?

They don't seem real organized and don't seem very empathic, my doctor forgot about our appointment until i called and then i couldn't meet for another couple weeks. I ended up switching to a more professional doctor that seems to care about me. Meridian they seem overwhelmed and their admin and billing, good luck with that.

I made an appointment with Dr. Romero which I ended up canceling. I was prepared to pay for the cancellation fee but instead I was billed for an office visit and one therapy session. Iā€™d highly recommend carefully looking over any claims submitted by Meridian. Also, as other have said, they are very difficult to work with and seem to have a lack of empathy for the people they are serving.
