St.
Bernard
Hospital
has
always
had
a
bad
rap
since
as
long
as
I
can
remember.
But
yesterday,
I
can
say
that
I
had
a
decent
experience.
I
was
rushed
here
because
my
pain
killers
took
longer
than
usual
to
kick
in.
In
the
ER,
it
was
the
same
old
usual
ridiculously
long
wait
time.
I
was
here
for
round
about
5
whole
entire
hours.
From
around
11:45am
to
about
5:30pm.
Long
story
short,
I
wasn't
removed
to
the
waiting
area
after
checking
in
because
my
covering.
I
was
very
glad
that
I
wasn't
removed
because
I
had
direct
access
to
ask
my
wait
status.
I
don't
remember
the
name
of
the
check-in
receptionist
but
she
was
very
polite
and
professional.
Then
an
RN
named
Fatima
was
very
kind.
She
retrieved
dry
coverings
for
me
when
she
realized
I
had
none.
She
was
even
so
nice
to
put
socks
on
my
feet
herself.
I
thought
that
was
very
sweet
because
I
could
have
done
it
myself,
and
I
didn't
ask
her
to.
Fatima
remained
polite
and
professional
and
kept
a
good
spirit
even
in
the
environment.
I
witnessed
tension
among
staff
and
patients.
There
were
also
other
staff
who
didn't
have
the
best
attitude.
But
this
is
not
about
them
so
I
won't
release
their
names.
I
forget
the
name
of
the
nurse
who
gave
me
a
shot.
I
should
have
declined
it
because
I
didn't
need
it
but
she
was
kinda
pushy.....
Maybe
her
name
was
Maria
I
am
not
sure.
After
about
4.5
hours,
I
guess
it
was
the
phone
call
of
my
family
checking
why
was
I
still
there,
is
what
made
them
finally
tell
the
doctor
to
see
me.
Finally,
got
an
exam
and
a
prescription
then
I
was
out
of
there
about
30mins
after
that.
There
was
also
a
female
security
guard
there
who
was
also
polite
and
patient,
but
I
didn't
catch
her
name.
