Dear
Ms.
Mary
Lou
maestro,
I
am
writing
about
my
recent
stay
Elmhurst
Hospital
NOV
15-20.
In
particular
my
stay
in
critical
care
for
several
days.
In
general
my
stay
in
cc
for
several
days
was
not
enjoyable
and
at
times
was
pretty
terrible.
One
time
The
urinal
fell
over
in
the
bed.
The
Nurse
and
tech
did
come
in
and
change
my
sheets
but
they
never
cleaned
me
up
from
the
urine
I
was
laying
in.
Incidentally
,
the
last
time
I
was
in
CCU
in
June
I
wrote
and
detailed
how
the
foley
leaked
and
I
lay
in
urine
for
3
hours
before
anyone
came
and
helped
me,
In
general
when
I
called
for
help
from
the
nurses
or
techs
they
did
come
in
and
did
what
I
requested
but
my
feeling
was
I
was
kind
of
bothering
them.
Also,
in
CC
respiratory
came
and
put
a
cpap
mask
on
me
to
sleep
and
wear
during
the
day.
They
could
not
get
it
to
fit
good
and
stop
leaking.
I
had
to
hold
the
mask
down
with
my
hands
for
it
to
get
a
good
fit
and
stop
leaking.
They
said
they
did
not
have
another
size
mask,
so
I
would
just
have
to
make
do
with
what
they
gave
me.
I
believe
they
should
have
masks
that
fit
different
people
as
those
times
I
had
the
mask
on
were
pretty
uncomfortable
with
the
bad
fit
and
constant
leaking
Now
I
do
need
to
mention
2
nurses
that
cared
for
me
that
were
outstanding.
Hope
Sylvestry
was
beyond
kind.
She
was
kind,
compassionate,
empathetic
and
interested
in
how
she
could
help
me.
Another
young
man
I
had,
named
Hiland
(
I
don’t
know
his
last
name
)
was
also
outstanding.
After
a
few
days
in
CC
you
can
get
feeling
pretty
grubby.
Hiland
came
in
and
took
some
time
to
give
me
a
full
body
cleaning
from
top
to
bottom.
And
in
general
he
also
was
beyond
pleasant,
kind
and
just
an
outstanding
person
and
nurse
to
me.
These
2,---
Hope
and
Hiland
could
give
lessons
to
others
on
how
to
a
good
job
that
the
patient
appreciates
Sincerely
and
with
some
regrets,
Robert
