I have had multiple negative experiences with the practice but after today, I am done and will no longer use this practice. Today, we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes to see the doctor. No updates were given. We had to ask for updates about how long the wait might be. I will briefly describe my other experiences so that it does not seem an hour plus wait is being taken out of context. When my son was first born, he lost weight during the first few days (which is normal). I was exclusively breastfeeding and my milk had not come in yet. I also had a semi-traumatic delivery where I tore very badly and my son had to have vacuum extraction. He was also slightly jaundice when we were discharged from the hospital. We had to come back to their office everyday for the first three days after we were discharged for weight checks and jaundice checks. This was overkill and I have asked other doctor's opinions who agreed that coming back that many days in succession was unnecessary. I was also never offered the option to do the bilirubin light therapy at home. I was told my son would admitted to the hospital for the light therapy if his levels didn't improve. I was 3 days post partum and this caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. On the second day that we were back in their office after being discharged, we had to wait in their office for an hour (again), I started to feel lightheaded. I had just delivered and I hadn't intended being there for so long and didn't bring snacks for myself. It was also very hard for me to walk after my 3rd degree tear in delivery and we had to walk for a blood draw plus to the appointment. My husband asked the nurses for a snack or juice for me and the physician then lectured me about taking better care of myself. This was extremely frustrating to me because the pain I was in was due to coming back and forth to their office each day. The last point that I will call out is being pressured to give my son the Covid vaccine. I respect the physician's perspective and I request the same respect in return. I am not anti-vaccination. My son is up-to-date on all other vaccines. I said that I am not comfortable at this point in time giving my son the vaccine and that from my perspective the benefits didn't outweigh the risks (he had already had covid twice and generally children do not get ill from covid. We also had a family member who is healthy and 17 years old who had a blood clot in their lung and they suspect it is from the vaccine). The physician told me that there are virtually no risks with the Covid vaccine. This cannot be a true statement; there are risks with anything. There are risks with any vaccine even if they are small. There are many other issues I experienced such as difficulty scheduling appointments (I would need to schedule a 3 month or 6 month appointment) and I would be told there wasn't availability until past the appropriate window. I would be glad to speak with someone about my experiences in more detail. I worked at Rush for several years and have had all of my doctors here. I've generally had great experiences with the exception of the Pediatric practice.

This is suppose to be one of the best hospitals, but I have a lot of mixed feelings. My sons first doctors were amazing and consistent. These new doctors come in and we have to explain multiple history and they try to disgnose theories when i been through this before with my first born. front desk staff had no mask. how you give mask and don’t wear them. nurses were AHHHMAZIMG. why does another doctor randomly have to walk in ? what’s purposed of those ? you make parents feel uncomfortable. very fast an efficient but where do you guys find these doctors that act like they have no child interactions ? maybe just me but def looking for new doctor.

My baby got a covid and Ashley (nurse/Dr) is not letting us even show the baby to the doctor. Baby has been getting fevers since last Thursday and they said they'll allow the baby to be diagnosed if fever continues over a week. When I call them today they push it to another 2 days and they say it's "reassurance". When are they really going to see him when he is out of breath? This hospital is pathetic and has no empathy to children who are sick.

48 - 72 hours for a referral really? Dealing with sick children who's specialist is going to have a wait as well you really going to prolong it, this place is garbage. On top of that i called 3 days ago 72 hours is up today and they still said i wouldn't be there till Monday so its 96 hours for a referral and a week not happy whit this place.

The wait is very long, they don't attend you when it's your appointment. They let you wait for up to an hour but if you arrive 15 minutes late for your appointment they don't attend you. It is absolutely ridiculous to wait an hour for a room to be handed over to you and another hour for the doctor to arrive. If they are very full of work, get more staff. Definitely don't make so many appointments. They let us wait for more than two hours to see a doctor.

We saw Dr. Stann we asked for a note for my child to use the elevator at school because she’s in so much pain. She can’t walk with excruciating pain and her leg is going out from under her. She was denied and told that exercise is good for you. Exercise is great when you’re not in so much pain that you can’t hold yourself up. Awful day and waste of time now I need to find a new doctor and likely hospital.

My son's doctor was there I love him great and amazing doctor, but lately I keep calling to make an appointment nothing. I get transfered to about 4 different people just for an appointment. I don't know if they know how to do their job. Also, lately aside from getting transfer they don't pick up during their hours they are open. I hate that I have to leave his amazing doctor, but it also has to do with service. Additionally, waiting time is terrible to get in and for them to go in.

What is happening with this hospital my daughter has been coming here 10 yrs. We have been working through mental challenges but nothing like having your daughters diagnosis changed. Not given a follow up visit after a Er stay but a regular appointment 5 weeks out. At the very beginning of the visit was informed that she couldn’t be seen because the doc at the visit was Behavioral and not psychiatry. So with that visit I’ve been left hanging they offered me outside resources three days later but nothing more.

The front desk customer service needs work but I don't bring my baby here for them.and calls can take very long to even get an answer SOMETIMES. On that note, the doctors are the best. I had took my baby to the hospital he was born at because of a bad cold they checked his ear and said he had an ear infection. My mommy instinct felt otherwise and this doctors office confirmed what I felt. I'm glad my baby is here.

It would be nice it the staff would be more helpful with other clinics trying to schedule patients appointment and not having them go back and forth with them. It is rude to giggle when one is trying to help the situation to them and explain them what the last person told them!. They should handle things better and try to help more professional!

The wait is sometimes long but that is because they sit with you and explain, address and answer any questions and concerns you have for your child. I have been going there for years and always was very satisfied with the care and the attention I get from the doctors.

My appointment was at 3pm I didn’t get called to a room till 420 and waiting for a doctor in a room took another hour this is terrible! By the time I left it was 6pm. This is not normal wait time they need to step it up👎🏽👎🏽

The doctors are very nice, but at my baby’s first appointment I waited about 45 minutes to see the doctor, which is excessive when you have a newborn and are healing from a C-section. Now she is almost 4 months and I haven’t been able to get an appointment for the visit they told me she needs. It took 3 times calling to even get through to someone to find out they have no appointments until she is 6 months old. I messaged the doctor to ask a simple question and never got a response. Unfortunately I need to research and find a new pediatrician that I can rely on for consistent care.
