Hello I don't usually post negative reviews but I hope this helps people not make same mistakes! Please please do not go to this office: I've used this location for several primary care and non-urgent issues just because it was close to my home over the past 3 years but will never set foot in here again. 1. SERVICE IS BAD The service I received from doctors has always been awful (super late to appointments, dismissing my issues, no follow ups, basically just doing the bare minimum to not get sued lol). Nurses, you guys are amazing and I feel sorry you have to work with some of those doctors. You can tell how miserable of a workplace it is by how demoralized the Nurses look all the time :( 2. OVERCHARGING - The pricing for services is absolutely INSANE. It has nothing to do with what my insurance covers and everything to do with doctors at this location just charging thousands of dollars for visits and services that you can get at Northwestern for 30% of the cost. (My recent example: Doctor visit + diagnostics at Loyola, $3.8k. Same exact services PLUS A CT SCAN at NW, $900. How is this even possible..) I just wanna warn everyone about this location and prevent you from wasting your money here, there are tons of other offices nearby which are definitely worth and additional 10-20 minute drive.

I’ve been with Loyola for a very long time I’ve had two successful open heart surgeries preformed by their doctors and Dr. Toma was my whole family doctor up until she left. I can’t stress enough about the poor quality of healthcare this location provides. My daughter is 2 years old and Dr Tayeh and her nurse refused to see my daughter after a ER visit and no she did not have covid. They then said they could see her 3 months later. Please tell me what office that sees children don’t have emergency slots open. Never in my 23 years of living have I dealt with such unprofessional healthcare workers. Especially the nurse she was rude and didn’t care if my baby was dead or alive. I would never recommend them. I am utterly disappointed and completed disgusted. I had two major heart surgeries preformed by Loyola so this is extremely disappointing! Will never be coming back !!!!

When they answer the line they just say to wait on hold, and put you back on hold for an hour. They check in 2 more times during that hour without giving any information or waiting for any input from the caller. Once you finally get this idiot Mary on the phone, she's extremely rude, interrupting, and totally unprofessional. She should find a different job since she cannot handle speaking on the phone with people.

they dont care about you whatever.... they make you wait in the lobby past your time hours. God forbid you're late 5 minutes, they will charge you. And to get test results it takes months. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Called in to verify my daughter's appointment and Mary hung up on me 7 times. All I needed was to confirm my daughter's appointment and she kept hanging up.....why in the world is she on the phones if she's just constantly hanging up on everyone.

I went there for a check up a couple of months ago. The doctor that took care of me was absolutely great!!! The institution on the other hand, extremely schetchy. I do have insurance, I payed my copay and 6 months later I received another bill from the facility where my consultation took place, at first I thought it's a joke, but nope this was a payment that had to be made, because I was in that specific building 🤦‍♀️ If you can avoid anything 'Loyola' I suggest you do so...the health industry it's already terrible as it is, no one needs 'the institution fee' on top of all the expenses associated with a consultation.

COVID-19 has turned the medical community on its head, I get that. Working in medicine myself - I’m aware of the restrictions and limitations due to this virus and the plague it has been on our world. Regardless, when I (the soon-to-be father) am told by LUMC (Loyola University Medical Center) that I’d be let in to our first prenatal appointment, I assured my wife that I’d be there. Imagine my displeasure when told by the front desk that I am to wait in my Jeep while this appointment takes place. But it is totally fine for other patients to cycle in with children eating, drinking juice (sans a mask) .. but I’m a ‘danger’ to the other patients. Imagine my disappointment when I am unable to be there to hold my wife’s hand and ask questions about the next steps in this journey that we are on. Even after being told that I’d be allowed in. Even after speaking with a Nurse Practitioner at LUMC and handing the front desk person my iPhone and hearing them say that I’ll be called back. Imagine how fun it is to sit outside while my wife texts me how nervous she is being in there alone and having her nurse tell her “he won’t be allowed in any appointment”. I worked at LUMC for short of four years — I know the people to call and to ask to get things done. If it can happen at one campus .. it can happen at another office. I’ve sat with her during other doctor appointments (during this pandemic). This office, plainly stated, really sucks. ‘We also treat the human spirit” is Loyola’s motto — you failed HARD today.

I have been going to Loyola for almost 30 years. All of the doctors that I have seen, especially Dr Pinzur, are excellent doctors. Because they know what they're doing and they know how to treat you like a person not like a just another patient. I love working with the student doctors, too.

They really don't return my calls for my refill of birth control. They want to make me come back in when i just had my pap smear there. They coded my pap smear appointment wrong so i am getting charged for preventative medicine. I'm ready to find a new doctor. In response to your response, I have no desire to return there or to speak with anyone there. I found a new doctor that i don't have to drive 30 minutes to. Someone less than 5 minutes away refilled my birth control. There was no reason for me to be seen again for this at loyola. Goodbye, loyola. You lost a patient that was going there for years.

This one star is dedicated to Dr Garbage. Otherwise known Dr. Ahlin. She lacks showing sympathy and empathy for patients that are pregnant. As a doctor you're a resource for people show that you care about them. Provide them with information. To tell a pregnant woman "oh you can work 8 hours" after she expressed the toll working 8.5-9.5hr shifts was having on her is very insensitive and your choice of words were poor, just because you felt as if the occupation she has isn't harsh on the body. Also, when you're done giving an ultra sound give the women a helping hand to get up. Don't just grab your equipment and be in a rush to get out the room. Horrible.

Security needs to do their jobs more efficiently!!!! Especially the PARKING!!! This person with the RED CAR should have gotten a ticket/towed for parking like that !!! I leave to the appointment and this car in red wasn’t there. I go to leave and I felt like doing the right thing to complain. 1S260 on 3rd floor. The lady behind the desk acknowledged me speaking but wasn’t listening to me when I mentioned I couldn’t get in my car door to get out. I tried to give her the license plate on that car she called security to assist me. All security did was look at the car and said I have to hop from the passenger side!!!! How can I hop over if I have a disabled mother?! I’m not going to hop over her to get the car out!!! Why do I have to do something if the red car was at fault?!! That is a poor solution. Security refused my request to go ask around in the building to find out whose car it is. He said I agree people should not park like that and it happens all the time. Basically saying I have to figure it out myself. Security left me and my mother who is over 70 years old in the snow. I had to call the police to help us out!!! The security needs to be more efficient with their jobs if they are working security!!! If I can give Zero stars I would!!!

I Love my Physicians, and the care they've provided to me has been awesome. I will refer Dr Lena Wiley, who is my Gyne, Shazia Khan, primary care, Christopher Molvar, MD & Jennifer Verploegh, APN Interventional Radiologist. I Love Loyola Doctors because they are truly a team. The experience ive had has always been pleasant, they are my family they call and check on me and myloyola website is just as awesome. I can view every test I've taken along with the results. Thank you Loyola for having the Best Physhians ever. 💋

I have visited the immediate care in Oakbrook Terrace twice this month and have been very pleased. Once was for a covid test for myself and the other time was for a Covid test for my 2 small kids. The staff was awesome and extremely friendly. They did great with my kids (ahe3s 6 and 4). It's walk in only but we have been lucky with minimal wait times. We got covid test results the next day. My only concern was how small the waiting room and that I never saw anything cleaned between people (i.e. signature pad, credit card machine, chairs). Everyone was wearing masks. Other than that, this place is great!

I had an MRI done at the Oakbrook facility. My MRI tech was Erica. She was extremely careless and made me feel uncomfortable and stupid for asking a question. This was my first MRI, horrible experience. She was in a rush, did not make sure I was comfortable and had an attitude. Won’t be returning here. Not a good attitude to have for a healthcare employee.

My experience with Loyola as a whole has been terrible. My best experience was with a tech who gave me her direct number to reschedule my appointment. I took the train all the way from the North side of Chicago and she knew if I rescheduled over the phone I wouldn't be seen for 3 months. Also my GI doctor was amazing. Aside from that it has been awful and I don't think 2 people can make up for the many who work in healthcare but do not have an once of empathy for what people might be going through. One scheduler wouldn't even listen to when I was trying to schedule an appointment with a doctor. She told me what type of patients the doctors take and I said "okay. I'd like to make an appointment. Then she repeated herself. I told, "Yes I'd like to make an appointment. My doctor referred me to them." She kept saying what type of appointments the doctor takes. I said to her "I haven't even told you why I'm calling. Are you trying to diagnose me over the phone?" Then she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to someone else who gave me the number to report what I had experienced. I called that number and left a voicemail. That was 5 months ago and I still haven't received a callback. They hire people who just want a job. They don't care about hiring people who care about people. Just trying to fill vacancies. That was the worst of it. But all other experiences have awful. Retrain your staff. You are dealing with sick people. Your job is to try to understand, apologize if needed and make it right. Stop talking back to patients and try to listen. Going to the hospital is already stressful. FYI. My PCP advised me to leave Loyola Medical Group. So I will be switching my Blue Cross over to a different provider.

Extremely long wait times for scheduled check-up appointments. Waited over an hour to get called in and then another hour in the room before the doctor came and talked to me.

We love Dr Cho! The first time we saw Dr. Cho my daughter was very sick and we did not know what was wrong with her. She acted quickly and helped us get in for testing and has been wonderful ever since! Always very open and upfront with us and has a wonderful way with my daughter who has Crohn’s disease. Can’t say enough good things!

Dr was 30 min late to my appointment. Co-pays and price of services is about 5x what neighboring offices offer

Superior quality medical care and advice. I have been a Loyola patient for over 35 years. My family has benefited greatly from the skills and knowledge eternally present in the staff here. I can't say enough good about Loyola Medical Center.
