They say you can't pick your family, but in this case you can. You can pick the CrossFit E-Town family and I guarantee you won't regret it. I was a varsity athlete at Northwestern and had always wanted to try CrossFit, but never had the time (or excess energy). After finishing up my soccer career I decided to join, and it was one of the best decisions I have made! I was immediately welcomed in and every single day I am pushed to be better. The variety of the workouts are excellent, and there are scaling options so it is accessible for any level. Everyone is so nice, supportive, and energetic and it is a really fun environment to workout in.

I had always wanted to try a crossfit-esque program as I had heard such good things from friends, and when I found Etown fitness club it was even more than I expected. The workouts are varied and great, the coaches are always personable and professional, I've always felt very safe in what I'm doing, and the community of folks who attended from beginners to long time members have always been supportive. The biggest compliment I can give is that my mom, who has no history of organized sports or regular physical activity, has been be going regularly for over a year now and adores it. Please support this literal mom and pop shop, I've never regretted spending a cent.

It is a great gym!! I have been a member since 2019 and I love the community and the coaches. Kevin and Ian are fantastic and they are always available and open for questions and concerns. I feel very motivated to work out with them, and they always make sure your form is good.

Ryan and Tommy both worked to accommodate me and encouraged me to work out throughout the plague when gyms were closed due to COVID. I was able to snag a TRX for my home, and I’ve consistently worked out 3 times a week during the shut down via a combination of zoom and FaceTime. I chose to join E-town due to a recommendation from a co-worker. The gym is located in Elmhurst, near my former employer in Franklin Park. Coaching is great, and though I was laid off from my job due to COVID, and the gym is now open, I continue to workout using FaceTime. I highly recommend E-town fitness, and though I live close to an hour away, I plan to continue to attend virtually. The dedication Ryan and Tommy have demonstrated helped me to stay sane through the lockdown. For me, the convenience of working out from home has kept me engaged(hard to be too busy to walk down to my basement gym, or to skip a workout because class begins in 2 minutes, when the commute takes all of 10 seconds). I miss going into the gym. The equipment is better, but the 45 minute drive each way makes an hour long class turn nto a half day I could change to a closer gym, but I can’t imagine finding coaches as accepting and encouraging as Ryan and Tommy. I’ll continue my training virtually with occasional in person workouts as long as E-town Fitness is available to me.

I've been working out with trainers for about the past 20 years. Kevin is by far the most knowledgeable and best one that I have had. He knows when to push you and how far to push. His gym is conveniently located and is fully equipped no matter what your fitness level is.

I have dropped in at a lot of CrossFit gyms around the country over the years. This one is spectacular. Huge and beautiful with abundant, high quality equipment and incredible facilities. The owner/coach Kevin was welcoming, took time to meet everyone, explained the workout in detail, and gave unceasing, energetic instruction and encouragement. The community was super friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

I joined E-Town two years ago when my original CrossFit box moved. Kevin and his terrific team of coaches are truly exceptional. They take the time to understand my fitness goals and help me achieve--and exceed--them on an on-going basis. Whether it is learning to do strict pull-ups, toes-to-bars or lifting just a little bit more by working on proper form, E-Town coaches and other athletes are always on hand with words of guidance and support. The facility is clean and well-kept. The website is easy to use. The schedule of classes fits perfectly into my life. And the addition of an Endurance work-out on Sunday morning is great too. I can't think of a better start to my day than attending E-Town's 5:30 am classes and spending some quality time with my CF family!

After going to a conventional gym for many years, I was reluctant to try CrossFit, but my friend pushed me to attend a session at e-town. Instantly I loved it. Not only are the facilities fantastic, but the coaches and community are amazing and make it a truly incredible place where you enjoy coming in and look forward to your next session! There is an incorrect stereotype that you need to be a top athlete to do CrossFit. That simply is not true. Everyone, regardless of age and ability, is welcome here, even those who have never worked out before! I have made more progress at e-town in less than a year than I had in many years at a conventional gym and have also made some great friends along the way. I thoroughly recommend CrossFit E-town!

Just a visit. I am in town for 1 day visiting family and I noticed that Etown Fitness was just up the road. Sent an email asking if I can drop in today and I received a response fairly quickly telling me to come in. Right when I walked in I was greeted warmly. Kevin (I'm bad at remembering names but I think this is right) showed me the facility which is amazing. After meeting everyone we got right into the workout. It was paced and coached perfectly. Everyone was super nice and supportive. Crossfit works and if you are thinking of joining a box I think that Etown Fitness would be a perfect place to go. If I'm this way ever again I will plan to attend a class. Thank you.

I come to CrossFit from a powerlifting background, and I find CrossFit to be hard as hell. Yet, Kevin and his excellent crew of coaches at e-town continually find a way to make that hell somehow enjoyable. This is a good, clean gym with a strong community. I highly recommend this gym for all who want to take their athleticism and strength goals to the next level. As I have remarked to my friends, I do think Crossfit e-town will help me move from being Big and Bad to Lean and Mean. And for that, I can't thank them enough. Check this place out--you won't regret it.

I have been working out at CrossFit e-town for almost 5 months now. Starting crossfit for the first time I wanted to join box which had a good class schedule as well as great coaches, because of all the bad rap about Crossfit. I initially chose CrossFit e-town over another crossfit gym which is basically a block from my apartment based on the great coaches, the facility and , class schedule. E-town has fulfilled all I could ask for from great coaching, community, equipment and class schedule. The coaches and the welcoming community all want you to get better and are really supportive. You will find athletes from all age groups and all fitness levels including an average person to those who are going to compete at the CrossFit regional games. Give them a try.

😐 Great membership price but the problem is we have less machines for bodybuilders than cardio machines. For example, there is only one Sando machine always busy. At the same time, we do have a lot of treadmills inside, nobody uses it?!!!!!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I was greeted so kindly by Jayson at the front who told me what to expect for my free trial workout. Sunny was the instructor and made it fantastic! OTF splits the class into two areas: floor and tread (treadmill). The first 30 you’re interval running or floor exercise with free weights, body weight...
