I wanted to try something different, and I’m glad I did. This coffee shop is SPACIOUS, and they’re open later than your traditional coffee shops that are in the loop. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was mellow, inviting, and unique. I ordered an orange mocha, can’t remember the exact name. This may be the best mocha I’ve had in the city. Not overly sweet, and I can actually taste the coffee. I will be back.

I totally fell in love with this place immediately. The funky designs and cool employees made me feel at home. The coffee was solid and the vibe of the place was chill. I'll definitely come back very soon and try something to eat.

We stumbled across this awesome coffee place this afternoon and decided to try it. Great spot for good coffee and some quick bites. Absolutely loved the quirky ambience here. The baristas were very nice and polite. Will definitely visit again.

I like their coffee, no complaints about that. However, I paid $5.80 for my coffee and cup was filled 80% with ice (as shown in the pic after a lil melting), that wasn't a good experience. I understand the value of conversations between colleagues at work and creating a fun environment. But I would appreciate if the Baristas focused more on providing the correct value to the customers.

Chill hipster place with student vibes. The green wrap was great, and coffee was good. I can imagine if I lived in Chicago I'd enjoy hanging out here or meeting friends. Probably not a place you need to go out of your way to visit as a tourist. It's a cool local cafe. Nothing more, nothing less. Great that they had plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

Such a Southside gem. This coffeehouse has an awesome esthetic, even better food and drink. This past visit I got coffee with the Jackalope sandwich (Smokey bacon, fresh goat cheese, sliced tomatoes, & fig jam). It was Great!! I am not on the Southside enough (live NW), but Everytime I'm near, I definitely try to stop here.

The esthetics of this place is on another level. Easily one of the most interesting coffee shops I have been in the US. They have an eclectic selection of coffee and nice sandwich options. Would 10/10 come again.

A must visit! Decor/space: large inviting space with art covered walls, fun merch, and overall lively decor. Further, there is plenty of seating and games! Menu: I didn't try food, but absolutely will go back! The horchata latte was great on a cold windy day Team: great energy!

Ordered the Chimera and was given a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. I was missing sauce and what ever else was supposed to be on the sandwich. Ordered through door dash but that's no excuse for such poor quality. I didn't receive my money back either. Never again.

Have you ever found a place you didn't want to review because you loved it so much and didn't want to spoil it? This was that for me. I loved everything about it. The service was exceptional. I had one of the best sodas of my life (peach) and a coffee and donut and everything was delicious. I spent 2 hours here and didn't even notice the time go. So if you're in Bridgeport and you're looking for a great little coffee shop just come here.

When I moved to Bridgeport 5 years ago, I found and fell in love with Jackalope. I loved the art, the environment, the menu, and it made me feel like I was part of the neighborhood. I would do my schoolwork, write poems and relax there. It became my comfort place and when I was having a rough day I would order from here to feel better. Last year I placed a larger order for many sandwiches. I was excited to get nutritious and delicious food and drinks for everyone. However, when the order arrived, the sandwiches were not what we were expecting portion-wise, having ordered from there so many times before. I called to discuss what had happened instead the owner was extremely disrespectful and mean even though I was polite and wanted to genuinely discuss what happened. She dismissed and completely disregarded my feelings immediately. I was completely shocked and heartbroken. I understand that working customer service during the holidays is very difficult and exhausting, but there was no need for the owner to react that way over a genuine issue with the order. Further attempts to speak to the owner resulted in them continuing to be rude and disrespectful. The employees of Jackalope are all very kind and have always been amazing people, however, their boss the owner ironically is not the same.

The decor is very cool but it's the staff that puts it over the top. I'll definitely be going there again.

My favorite cafe!! The coffee is delicious, the acidity is good, and I haven't tried their desserts, but their house is characterized by the most comfortable environment. It may feel a little messy at first, but when you get down to work, you'll get into the swing of things! This is amazing!!

Love this quirky local coffee shop with its purposefully over-the-top eclectic decor (including Bridgeport neighborhood memorabilia and jackalope art everywhere!) and handwritten menu boards. Seasonal specials are creative, food is tasty, and staff is friendly. Kid and dog friendly spot with sidewalk seating in addition to connected inside rooms.

This place is so fun! Tucked away on a side street, it’s a great place to grab a coffee. They have decaf espresso for the unleaded amongst us

This is my favorite coffee shop in Bridgeport. The coffee is delicious, espresso pulled well, and milk steamed just right. The food is awesome, but I have only tried the vegan orc sammie and the Jolly Green Giant.

Great vibes and sweet spot to meet with friends and chat. Brought pups and we were able to sit outside and chat. They also gave us some whip cream for them too. Also very happy they offer alternatives to dairy.

I love this place my wife always goes here & has a blast with all the baristas they're such sweethearts! Their coffee is definitely the best in all of Bridgeport (in my onion)! Great variety & the seasonal drinks are always really creative! The atmosphere is really great, the locals are awesome, occasionally they'll have pop-up shops which is honestly so rad, I highly recommend this place!

I'm a writer by trade. During the day I write for tech companies and outside of work, I write more creatively. This includes horror stories I've had published inside and outside the US. Needless to say, I very much enjoyed the horror decor at this coffee shop! My strawberry smoothie was also bomb, and who doesn't love a good breakfast sandwich? I love finding cute shops to work outside of my home office. Will def be back :).

Really neat coffee shop. The barista is kind and helpful. The espresso and cruller is wonderful and priced reasonable (under $5). Quite possibly my favorite coffee shop in the Bridgeport area!

I love their drink specials!! Donuts are very good. I enjoy the pop tarts that they have. I like the breakfast sandwiches too. There are a good amounts of tables for studying; more tables than a typical coffee shop. It’s a good vibe here!

Pretty good drinks and food. The barista want really nice or friendly, but they made a good drink. Couldn't find their drink special until after I ordered because it's hidden in a corner.

I’m from out of town but come to Chicago to visit friends pretty frequently. I always love coming to Jackalope - great outside seating, friendly staff. Good coffee and their food is awesome too. Great to check out if you’re in the area!

Unique and cozy coffee house with more than helpful and friendly staff. Prefect for dining inside or outside along this quiet Bridgeport side street. Absolutely delicious coffee and tea drinks, and creative sandwiches and breakfast options for a small bite or something to really fill ya up!
