It's so important that establishments like these exist. I feel lucky that I got to visit. I fully support Sip of Hope in their mission. This is an inclusive space with a focus on intersectionality, suicide prevention, and mental health. The coffee, merch, vibes, and people are great. Thank you.

The best coffee shop in the world. My favorite. Not only are their coffee and treats delicious, but 100% of their proceeds go towards mental health. Not to mention they’re always so friendly and accommodating, and the artwork they have on the walls and in the bathrooms are so cool! Always a place worth going to.

Such a wonderful spot, supporting such a great cause. Coffee was delicious, as was the espresso donut. Kelsey and staff were super sweet too. Looking forward to going back, and supporting this rad local business.

Definitely one of my fav coffee shops of all time! Ironically, I don't drink coffee but love their tea selection and welcoming/inclusive atmosphere. I come here a lot for coffee meetings and to work. Everything is always very clean and well maintained, plus the music selection is one-point!

Some of the BEST priced coffee in Chicago (lattes less than $5?!), with a wonderful mission— 100% of proceeds support suicide prevention and mental health education. Great, chill vibes inside with plenty of seating and desk space— perfect for light work or meeting up with friends. Highly recommend that everyone checks it out!! — Price (relative to peers): 5/5 Coffee: 4.5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall Value: 5/5

Love this concept and the efforts to support mental health/prevent suicide. The fact that the coffee and pastries were delicious and not outrageously priced made it even better.

I ordered Cortado. It was very saturated but not bitter. Good taste. Recommended.

Casual cafe to hangout or do light work. The proceeds from the shop go to mental health services. I had the Conversation Starter Guatemalan blend they had. The almond and lemon zest were present, but I wouldn’t describe the base as milk chocolate, more like a sour apple.

Literally my favorite coffee shop. Not only is their coffee better than most other places down the street, it's also less expensive, AND 100% of the proceeds goes towards mental health education and proactive suicide prevention. Honestly what could be better? I'm not even making it up that their coffee tastes better too. Would recommend this place over and over again.

A coffee shop with an inspiring mission, great atmosphere, and delicious products. I will be back! Most people here on a Monday during the day were focused on their work, it’s a quieter and more peaceful space. A ton of outlets, standing and sitting seating. Kind staff that guided me to the best drink. Nectar of the Gods latte was AMAZING. Sweetened with agave, cinnamon and chocolate, absolutely delicious. And not to mention 16oz for $5.50! super reasonable prices for Chicago.

delicious & impactful. I got the honey & turmeric latte and my partner got a mocha. To accompany this, we had to try the espresso donut from dark matter. Dunk a little of the donut in your coffee and you’ll thank me later ❤️. Sorry no pics cause it was too good.

What can I say. I fully support their motto. Very friendly and helpful staff. The espresso is good. The Boston cream donut is my favorite. Altogether they were a little over $5 so prices wise, really cheap! Merchandise is also offered that helps support their cause. I love it here.

Not a coffee drinker but was attracted to this coffee bar after watching a video from Obama Foundation about them. I love the concept that the bar serve as a place that connect people and talks about mental health. Mental health message that printed on the packaging is fantastic, what a good way to promote healthy mental health. Lastly, staff is really helpful, especially towards someone who have no idea about coffee.

The coffee was great but I was surprised at how good the Dark Matter Espresso Donut was. Wasn't overly sweet and a good compliment to the coffee. Plenty of room to sit and do some studying, too.

Quaint local coffee shop with real purpose. The shop is simple yet welcoming. Can get loud, so not the place if looking for a quite vibe. Coffee is good. Be sure to check the hours of operation.

This is a good spot to hang out and drink coffee. Love their Brad Pitt it's so good. You can hang outside where you can even do your hw or just work in general. It's very cute and the customer service is very outstanding. They are very friendly in balcony.

My new favorite cafe! Kind and enthusiastic employees, fun and just-right flavors (I recommend the Honey and Turmeric latte), clean and chill environment to work or hang out in. Prices are also very affordable and all proceeds go to an amazing cause. If your going to buy a latte in the area I recommend this place!
