It was cool until my friend and i went to the restroom. I was helping her with her dress, and a security woman with dreads, kicked the stall door open, and said "one person to a stall". While i understand that is standard, my friend needed assistance. Upon exiting the stall, she became verbally confrontational, told me, " if i didn't want her to open the door, i should have locked it". ( it was locked, she kicked it open) , and continued with more rude comments, and attitude. I informed her, that kicking a bathroom stall door open while a person has their underwear down could be viewd as sexual harassment, and she laughed at me. We left the restroom, i walked up to a different security person to ask him a question....the (clearly unstable) security lady had followed me out of the restroom, walked up to me, and said "oh you think you're going to tell on me?!" At this point she was clearly looking for a confrontation. Pure craziness. Definitely will not be returning.

Speakeasy concept is cool. You walk through a Barber shop. That's the extent of this place. Drinks aren't bad but the staff and patrons just ruin the experience. Jammed pack considering the steep cover. Other than that, your typical dive bar cocktails inside what they're trying to turn into a club. Bouncers definitely not on your side. Just a word of caution. Come when they open, not when the night is getting started.

This barber shop front is an actual barber shop, where you can get a real hair cut. But behind it is a speakeasy, where you can get a drink and enjoy your alcoholic beverages with friends. We will definitely come back here again next time we visit Chicago.

Different crowds Different music from weekdays. I don't like it here on Saturday night. Terrible classic cocktails here.

I ❤️❤️❤️ Speakeasy. Even though it looks like a barber shop & indeed is also a barber shop but yes, there's a secret door that leads you to the bar area. The front desk is super nice. Walk in without reservation is welcome.

I went last Saturday and it was most definitely a great club to go to. The Deejay was playing all the 90's and early 2000's jams and everyone was dancing off the music 🎶 Definitely will go back soon!

Definitely a cool spot to check out. We came here during my bachelor party trip. You walk in and it’s a barbershop with a red light bar in the back. We tried getting in the night before but was told it was too packed so we went the night after. The drinks are good, it’s very trendy and modern inside with a red light glow. This place got packed as the night progresses I’m talking elbow to elbow, they start moving furniture as it gets later. The Dj was really awesome and knew how to work the crowd.

Coolest spot in Chicago, this secret bar was truly "secret." Never got too busy to lose its ambiance. I recommend coming around the time it opens (5pm). I felt like I was in a bar in Fall Out New Vegas!

First things first...I never knew they had food here...I wonder if I'm missing out? I have experienced the drinks and the atmosphere. I love taking people here that are from out of town to introduce them to the speakeasy experience. There is ABSOLUTELY no parking in the area at night, so don't even put yourself through that. The music and crowd is somewhat diverse. It seems like a tourist destination, but people come here to dance, sip cocktails, and have fun. This is not the place for fancy cocktails...get your usual.

I went to the staff to get some help with two women that started arguing/threatening to fight my fiancee and I when we asked them to kindly leave the table/couch area we had been sitting at first. The table was always occupied by at least one of us and I only left to get drinks. I felt like I did the right thing asking for the staff/bouncer to step in and help. Instead we were thrown out while the ladies who initiated the argument/threats were allowed back in? We were paying patrons and didn't deserve to be treated that way when we were trying to be civil. At one point we even suggested sharing the table with the ladies as a compromise and they still wouldn't reason with us. We only knew that the two girls had been let back in after a friend told us and taken a picture of one. I didn't appreciate the favoritism shown to the two ladies who clearly felt they could start trouble with no repercussions because they knew someone on the staff. If you're looking for a good time I'd be weary of this place due to the fact the bouncer doesn't have the ability to make good judgement calls.

Tight little speakeasy. Management should think more about their guest and control capacity a bit more. I'm sure they're violating their capacity. But when you go and your a fan of tequila try the "white ferrari"

Cool spot to get some drinks and enjoy a night out with friends. Drinks were good, but a bit pricy for what you get. Despite it being packed on a saturday, bartenders were quick and attentive. I enjoyed the DJ and music as well.

We went in for a sec. But it was so cool. I have never been in a speak easy. I felt so secretive. As we were leaving, I had thanked the security guard for great service, as any few drinks in type of socialite would, and he said to check the place out on a Saturday. "It be thumpin!'" Ok he didn't say that. But he did say check it out on a Saturday because it is packed with a line around the corner. ....To be continued on a Saturday.....12.16.23....

Great setup. Bathrooms are clean. Servers were very nice, but then again I had table service. Music was good however even if you tip the DJ well ($30), he will not play your requested song. We waited in the barbershop section while they setup our booth.

Place is nice but has very disrespectful bouncers..the shorter one refused to let me and my friend in because he felt like she whispered something about him as she was speaking to ME!!! Nobody said anything to him and his ego was absolutely diabolical. We had to call all our friends out and go to a different location after we paid an entry fee online. He also called us beggers because she came out to get me when I arrived and asked to let me cut the line because our whole group had a section inside. Never again!

Definitely a do it once for the experience sort of thing. Blind Barber is a speakeasy literally behind a barber shop on Fulton Market. It's a vibe that gets going as the night turns to morning, but at that point you're waiting in a long line for something that isn't really worth it. The service is great, really friendly and attentive bartenders and servers. The cocktails are average at best, especially with so many other great options nearby. A little watered down and one note, nothing memorable at all. Glad we got to see what it was all about, but unless I'm somehow single and 22 again, I can't see making a return trip.

Great service and the vibe is very chill. I think this barber brings back the classic experience of community associated with barbershops that some places are lacking. The staff are all down to earth very nice and engaging. Notably the bar also hosts cool events and they make some great cocktails. I’d recommend this barber if you have a genuine interest in getting to know folks while also getting a clean cut at an affordable price.

My friend recommended the spot since I was travelling alone in Chicago. I spotted someone going in and asked about the barber shop that turns into a bar and I love the speakeasy feel to it! The bartenders were super awesome and nice and even the crowd was amazing. IDK if it's just Chicago, but the people were just great!

The novelty of walking into a barbershop where people are actually there for appointments and stepping into a full-fledged bar is super cool! We went in the early evening so it was still very chill. The drinks we had were good, and there was a ton of eucalyptus around so it smelled really nice. The one knock we had on the place was that my espresso martini came in a glass more appropriate for an old fashioned, but hey, if that’s the biggest knock on the place, you know it’s good!

Spacious and red-light lounge themed speakeasy bar located in a fully functional barber shop. The bar is open around the time the barber shop ends its regular work hours.

Cute bar. It’s a pretty small bar so I’d recommend checking it it during the week.

Pretty cool ambiance and really good cocktails. The bartender was super nice and knowledgeable. The space was cool, but slightly small, so come early or make reservations. Music was on point but a touch too loud.

Had a great experience here! I think you either need to know someone or have a reservation, idk, I was with a group. I loved that the DJ played all kinds of music and people were actually dancing! It was such a good vibe. While I was amongst the "regulars" on the floor, I'm really curious about how the people who were in the sections managed to get up and down and move about the crowd because the seating is pretty low. No cover here. Couldn't tell you about drinks because it was impossible to get to the bar. Drink before you show up and have a great time.

Me and my friends had the worst experience ever last night!!! Monday October 2nd 2023!!! Managers pay attention!!! We went there around 12:00am and ordered drinks and I think it was second or 3rd round! And the bartenders were so rude. And The security guy told Us Basically to leave the place around 12:45 when they’re supposed to close at 1:00am and we weren’t even half way to our last drinks! They said “it’s Monday night go home. Don’t you have a home? I said can we just finish our drinks? They said stop talking finish your drink and go home!” Like what kind of business and place is that? So trashy! It’s not like we run into each other on the street and got into an argument. The low of the lowest. I don’t think this place train their employees when they hire like how to treat customers! Me and my friends thought they were kidding but the security guy and bartenders were serious and told us us to leave the place when we were drinking our cocktails half way 15mins before closing time! They were rude and laughing at our face! I couldn’t tell what was going on! Anyway not gonna go back there for a good time! So racist! So low! No customer service at all! It’s not like we didn’t pay for our service or tip! We were generous. I can’t believe how they treated us. It was like a low key, low class place in west loop area! So not going back there!!

For a place that has some good reviews I was highly disappointed…. The security was very verbally abusive and to skip a line you had to pay over 120 for something that is free … we were outside for at least 30 min or more just so that we can witness bad music and a bad host… I would never recommend this place 😩
