Cool small to medium sized bar with an old ‘gentleman’s’ lounge feel. Great outdoor patio but arrive early as it looked like they did reserve the larger areas for larger groups (totally understandable). The patio is for the most part on the shaded side which is nice. You can take either elevator up even though the one on the left says that it only goes to 17.

Nice cocktail lounge. The view of the city is great. The atmosphere was right on par as far as upscale lounges go. The host and waitress didn’t seem all that friendly but the bartenders were great and the drinks tasted as well as they were priced. In other words, you get what you pay for; the drinks were great. I wouldn’t mind coming back.

This place was average. Probably good for casual hangout with friends. I was here with a few friends on a Saturday night. We wanted to check out their rooftop. We we're so disappointed. There were no lights, view was zero as it was obstructed by plants. We felt like being inside a room without a roof. Inside was dark as well but relatively better. Drinks were pretty good. They don't serve food. I don't think I would go back again.

Unfortunately my friends were not able to enjoy the drum bar while on vacation in Chicago. Upon entering, we were followed around and asked to move several times. When we finally found permanent seating that satisfied the host (ironically, two feet from his stand), we continued to be watched. On several occasions the host would come over and bug us about something else we were doing incorrectly. Once, pointing at my friend’s heels and asking her to remove it from from what appeared to us as a foot stool. This is all the while our drink order hadn’t been taken. The kicker is, we were guests at the hotel and the staff there was amazing. We only went to the bar because we wanted a cocktail for our first night in Chicago and planned to hit the hay right afterwards. I’m not sure what made the host feel like we needed a babysitter the entire time, but it definitely killed our entire experience. Customers who came after us did not receive the same treatment, which lead to us deciding to leave. The only staff who appeared to have manners is the waitress/bartender who came to fill our water cups.

This place came highly recommended through another review site and I wasn't disappointed. I took my husband here for his birthday. The ambience here is dim and intimate. We reserved a spot and we were placed by a window. The views were very nice over the city. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, it's a nice tucked away spot that serves as a wonderful place to get away and relax for the evening.

Had a great time here voting, tasting and eating at the national cocktail competition sponsored by @remymartinus. Drumbar is located in the Raffaello Hotel Chicago on the 18th floor. The inside decor is very reminiscent of a 1920's speakeasy and the outside rooftop patio area is very comfortable and summer inspired. With a gorgeous wooden bar facing the entrance way, to all of the comfy couches and chairs, this is a wonderful place to grab a superb cocktail and take a look at the gorgeous city views.

Definitely for a romantic atmosphere. Hidden bar 😎 Great cocktails and good service but slightly overpriced.

Great ambience, music, staff and the drinks were excellent! Unfortunately the weather didn't agree with us and we couldn't sit outside to enjoy the views.

Nice spot... I went during the day with my bestfriend from college. The drinks were good! The outside area seems a little small in my opinion but I had a wonderful time.

Hate to be cliche but the Drumbar rocks!!! I've been visiting Chicago for 30 years and The Drumbar has just become a new favorite place for a nightcap and a great view! The rooftop terrace can't be beat and the tunes can't be beat either! Great atmosphere and super cool bar!

Very unique bar in gold coast. Kind of difficult to find, but had a very classy decor. Several house cocktails and drink options, as well as a rooftop patio (this was closed when I went but it was very late). Really cool view. Would definitely recommend this skyscraper bar.

I went there for drinks on a Saturday night. The location is elegant, and the atmosphere is nice and informal. Cocktails are very sophisticated - I personally tried the one with passion fruit and it’s amazing - and totally worth their price. I wish they had served some snacks, but they told us they were out of them that night. In spite of this, the place definitely deserves 5 stars.

Drinks: they are on the more refreshing side, not too sweet or bitter. The waiters/waitresses were really good and helping to find one that would suit my tastes.

I came here a few times to hang out with friends and I am glad I did. There are some great bartenders with a great selection of booze available. The bartenders are willing to make variations as well and can make some great cocktails, and the views are great. I will be coming back and would recommend the same when in the area

Wonderful drinks. The bartenders are also excellent and very knowledgeable. I asked one if there were any alternative non-alcoholic drinks on menu, she asked a few question regarding the person's tastes and she whipped up an excellent drink. Can't beat that!

Wow how is this 3.5 stars?? Amazing view. Top notch drinks. Super cool decor and people. Not too loud you can't hear your company talking.

(Translated by Google) It is located on the 18th floor of the Raffaello Hotel. It has an internal and an external environment. The internal environment is very elegant, the external one has an incredible view of the Hancock Tower. Every day there is happy hour from 5 in the evening until 7 in the evening. The attention is very good, and the drinks and cocktails too. (Original) Se encuentra ubicado en el piso 18 del Raffaello Hotel. Tiene un ambiente interno y otro externo. Located on the 18th floor of the Rafaello Hotel, just a hotel ride away if you're staying at the hotel. A luxurious rooftop bar decked out with a full size indoor bar. It has a beautiful fireplace with leather seating to enjoy drinks (when the weather is inhospitable). You will receive fast, excellent service from the top notch bartenders. The crowd is mostly 30s and up, and most everyone in the bar is wearing a jacket and dress shoes (although the bouncer allowed us in with our costumes on Halloween). When the outdoor section is open, the bar doubles in size. But from their delicious craft cocktails and a huge beer, IPA, red and white wine list, Drumbar has pretty much anything you could want to order!

Very sexy place. Got lucky with finding a place to sit. Small, and for unknown reasons the outdoor patio we so badly came to visit was closed. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Very Chicago.....$16 a cocktail, including my NA one.... lol..... but I enjoyed the experience
