This cocktail bar has a great vibe and good music. It was fairly busy for a Thursday evening so would recommend reservations. They have happy hour 5-7 Monday to Saturday, even though options are limited on the happy hour menu, they were good. Overall the drinks menu is extensive and cocktails were great. We tried 4 of them and all were really good. The food menu is small. We ordered KFC and Feta Dip. Our server messed up our order and served us the Buffalo hot and spicy tenders which were good too (we didn’t request the dish to be swapped). They service was a little slow as 1 server had to manage a lot of tables. All in all, great place to grab cocktails and small bites with your date.

Happy Hour is Mon-Sat until 7pm. Had Friday 7pm reservation. Place was slightly crowded from after work happy hour. Arbella has a dimly lit, Candle-light ambiance. I had pork tacos, 3/$10, did not disappoint. I had a "Mexican Dance off" and "If I were Green, I would die" which has egg whites (suggested by waitress Paige and surprisingly delicious). There's an option to rinse your glass in absinthe. As the night progresses, a DJ comes, some tables are cleared and it's a club vibe. Great experience, will be going back!

Visited Arbella and was blown away by their cocktail selection, especially their unique take on old fashioneds from around the world. The vibe was perfect with a DJ playing during our visit, and thankfully, it wasn't overly crowded. The only regret? Not discovering this place sooner to sample more of their food menu. They have a late-night food menu that definitely hit the spot. Can't wait to go back!

Really fun spot with great friendly service and good music. I enjoyed the high ceilings and the crowd at the bar. Happy Hour drinks are extremely good value at $10 per cocktail for selected items. Definitely hope to come back.

The drinks here are amazing! I love the happy hour deals and the vibe in here. The smoky bear drink we got was really cute and we've never seen anything like that before. The only con is that the music here at night was bad and sometimes it's hard to get a table here around 5-6.

This place has great vibes, friendly staff, and an excellent happy hour menu. My friends and I enjoyed the few hours that we were there and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon!

Tucked away behind a not so obvious door is this gem. Some of the best cocktails in Chicago are served up here in a true speakeasy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff keep this small space running smoothly. Unique drinks are always on hand as well as a selection of higher end liquors plus food options. One of my favorite places in Chicago

Unnfortunately I went there only for the drinks and not for the food but the drinks were delicious for it's price, but the ambient low lights make it very intimate (romantic) , for a date or just a reunion with friends. If u wanna meet with friends and don't know how to impress, this is the place! Average drink price is $15 - 20

Went there with wife to celebrate the end of a busy week! The buzzing atmosphere was lovely which reminded us our younger days 😅. This place is extremely popular so reservation is recommended. We were lucky that there was a small table available to us for 1.5 hours. There were quite a few drinks/cocktails on the menu as well as snacks. Don’t expect full-on meals since it is a cocktail bar after all. We decided to just have some drinks here and ordered a few signature cocktails which were good. However the sweetness could be dialled down a notch. Soon after we sat down, a group of young ladies sat down next to us. Needless to say, we had to shout for rest of the night otherwise none of us could be heard 😂😂😂 The service was very tentative and friendly.

Cool vibe in there! I liked the fact there was a small crowd dancing. Busy but not too busy when we went on a Friday night. The bartender was quick and the drinks were really good!

Great place. It can get crowded, though. Been here maybe a half a dozen times—mid-week date for drinks to solo on a Saturday night. Dress appropriately. Bar staff are very professional and great mixologists but pls treat them with respect. I tried the Smokey Bear - a bear/shaped bottle with the cocktail and a smoke mixture sealed in with a lid / that takes a few minutes to make. It was neat but taste was not for me. My go to is the classic Manhattan with ice. They always make a fantastic on.

Amazing vibes, great food, music and drinks. Lots of options to select from, service is top notch. We ordered the Chicago fire extinguisher, really strong and perfect. I really loved the way the drinks are presented. The Croquettes tasted good. Great deals during happy hour, not many restaurants in Chicago downtown offer happy hour on Friday’s but Arabella does. I would highly recommend it.

Intimate place. Very popular so quite packed. Friendly staff. Like even in the noise and commotion they're super nice. I think we counted 3 first dates happening.

Came here last night to end the night for my 27th and I had the best time! From the bartenders and other staff to even the patrons, it was super fun and the drinks were good. They play good music, heard some Brazilian funk in there which made me so happy. Definitely feel I found a new spot

A great date night spot. A great hangout spot. The atmosphere was next level. That atmosphere was extremely relaxing and exciting. The entire night from start to finish was amazing. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. I showed up without any reservations and they made accommodations to get my group get a table and was communicating very well. I knew the drinks would be great. However, I was extremely shocked by the how good the food was. Everyone ordered something different. We tried each other’s plates, and we all were very impressed. The old fashions are amazing! Overall between the staff, atmosphere, and food you cannot go wrong with this place. The ambience is spot on. I will be going back I will be highly recommended to any and everyone I talk to. So if you’re visiting Chicago and wanna have a great night out, you better go to Arbella! If my pictures are blurry, I apologize but trust me you can’t go wrong!

The food we had was good, drinks decent, but service was subpar. Had to try and flag down server multiple times to the point even the door guy was helping us place drink orders. Nice vibe in the place. Limited menu. Happy hour prices not much benefit from regular prices

A really fun energy to the space and awesome drinks. I got the Korean tenders and they were so good. I'll definitely need to come back since I came with such a big group I wasn't really paying attention. So far I like it!

Their atmosphere is something else! Dark with light accents, muted tones, romance and suspense can both be felt. We first had a booth but were moved to a table to be more comfortable. They have some of the most interesting drink names. I mainly stuck to the Peru one because it had vodka, lemon, mint and was along the lines of a mule. One of my friends got the fire extinguisher which came in a smoked form. There was a Mexico based cocktail that came in a unique cup of its own. It was a little loud so you couldn't really hear the people away from you. The servers were nice in that they left us alone for the most part and knew when to come and ask if we wanted more. We didn't eat. All in all, a good experience. I would recommend reservations.

Super fun spot and amazing vibes. I've always had a great time and my last visit really warranted a five star review. I love the "smokey bear" drink and tried the fire extinguisher this time (strong and amazing)! Inside seating is very cozy and offers an intimate experience. Service is always prompt even during busy weekend hours. Great selection of food also.

Great spot in Chicago to go for drinks. They also have food on the menu and great music. They had a DJ when I visited, with a nice selection on mixes to get you dancing. All cocktails are delicious and perfect! I will definitely go back on my next visit to the city.

This place has a pretty decent happy hour! Orders the Mexican dance-off (delicious!) and the Korean sweet and spicy tenders (pretty good but could be better) and truffle fries (pretty good asl well!) The vibes are very cozy and lounge-like. It’s super cute and I would definitely recommend! Definitely will be coming back!

Absolutely amazing cocktails bar, both for the ambiance and the cocktails! I loved the enormous wood wall and bar and extremely high ceilings. It made sitting in the front of the bar an extremely lovely experience! Then the cocktails, wow! These were nearly Aviary style yet totally reasonably priced. I loved the unique set of old fashioneds and mezcal based drinks. I will definitely be coming back here!!

Fantastic vibe and great cocktails. Got here right as they opened on a Friday night and was able to sit at the bar right away. Both the Simple Man and the Chicago Fire Extinguisher were excellent!

Sat at the bar. Drinks were awesome. Vibe was great. The people that work here are very friendly. Ordered the octopus and it was mixed with what tasted like a balsamic sauce and pieces of pineapple. Though I love all those separately I didn’t love them together. It’s definitely a vibe here.

Had a great recent experience here enjoying a few cocktails at the bar with my bride. I'm a bit older and way less hip than the stylish youngins surrounding us, but still felt most welcome. The bartenders were super friendly helping us decide on drink choices and we loved the decor, music and overall high energy level of the place. Worth a return for sure.

Totally fantastic! Our bartender Hasus was fabulous! Took time to explain the menu, and between service if a fairly busy Saturday night spent some time as other bar staff also did with us, drinks, and our appetizers were fabulous and spot on! Highly recommended this place, spacious, clean, and fabulous service! Will definitely return!

What great drinks and creative good food. The atmosphere was perfect, not quite speakeasy but dark and a little mysterious. Staff was fantastic!
