Nice place to walk your dog and get some walking workouts! Love the new trail. My favorite park in Chicago.

Great park and facilities for family barbecues, romping with the dogs, nature trails and jogging. Easy parking. Today is the 4th of July -- it was busy but not crowded -- we chose it over the Lake to avoid the crowds and parking nightmare -- we made the right choice!

This park is beautiful. Since I was a baby myself I've been coming here. The best place to bring your kids and have fun.

The Horner park nature area is a flippin GEM. Literally not-in-Kansas-anymore vibes. Such a beautiful walk.

What a great green space in the great city of Chicago. We went here for a cross country meet and it was fun for all ages. They had a farmers market, a great play ground, basketball courts and bike trails. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Great place to host cross country meets. Local food vendors supply a very limited variety of food. Iy is an ideal park to walk your dogs and enjoy the trails.. Great neighborhood!!

Beautiful park full of flower filled hiking trails along the edges. There's baseball fields tennis fields a huge lawn area for sunbathing or picnics. A clean bathroom area. A very extensive hot dog /food concession stand and great bike trails. There's also a place to rent canoes. This park has everything! Such an amazing treat!

This park is always full of life. I love that the daycare across the street brings the urchins over all year, weather be damned. I think they must be teaching survival skills along with colors and shapes. Plenty of areas and space to indulge in your favorite fitness. Late last year, all the dog folks watched teams play a grounded version of Quidditch. And the river is there, with its bit of nature. It’s coming back from the dead, and has lots to offer. It’s a great park, and one of the reasons we moved to this area.

I've been here a few times... I was at Horner Park for a Filipinx piknik. I've also been here to play basketball late at night, once when it was cold outside.

Very nice running trails. Lots of open spaces for picnics and gatherings. Great fields for sports, jungle guns for kids and very nice nature trails by the water

Such a unique park in the heart of the northside area in Chicago. Very large park which spans quite a few neighborhoods. Perfect for strolls or jogs. I did a photoshoot with my friend and wasn't disappointed with the turn out and scenery. Highly recommend it.

Horner park is one of my favorite parks in Chicago. This park is very versatile from sledding on the hill in the winter to enjoying nice sunny walks in the summer. My favorite part about this park is the trail by the river. It is very beautiful and so are the memories I made here.

I loved this park, when my kids were small we used to go there all the time. Now, I go for walks, jogged, ride my bike. It was plenty of parking, it’s fun for the whole family.

I really enjoy the restorative work they've done, but I could do with less open lawn and baseball diamonds, it's a great place to take your dog or kids, hard to believe it's in chicago.

Nice big field to play a variety of sports and great for dogs. The only problem is that the baseball diamonds haven’t been properly cared for, and they are very hard, kind of like gravel.

Love Horner Park! I take my dog to play at there on a daily basis! He always has a blast, the park is always clean and everyone is there to be nice to each other!

Has access to the new riverside path / riverwalk that goes from Addison all the way up to Peterson on Legion park and connects to Skokie Sculpture Park, Evanston and beyond ;)

One of the best dog parks in the city starting in the fall when softball season is over. Not referring to the actual dog park, just the open fields.

Amazing park, dog, kid, and just all around friendly. Recommend it 100%

This is a cool park; it's big and often active, there's a prairie area near the river with a path along it, a dog area, a rec center, and a decent-sized hill you can see the sunset from 🌇

Horner Park was a nearly perfect stop on a July Summer day. We took our pup to the dog park and had a great time.

I love the nature trail along the river. It's so beautiful and peaceful. I'm looking forward to the native burial grounds art piece on the southeast corner of the park. There are times that other parts of the park, like the blacktop paths, can get really crowded with strollers, dog walkers, bicycles, and runners, but it really is a lovely park.

Huge park, has a dog park a soccer field or hockey and tennis court. A nice trial for bike riding or running. Also has a river trail. My 11y.o. loves to go to feed the wild ducks. Also has a field house for water n snacks n restrooms.

Large versatile park with loads of different play structures for children ages 3 and up. It's not the most child friendly for ages under 3-2.5 as there are lots of climbing obstacles. Baby swings are available though!

Great park with multiple sport zones. I came for the pickle ball courts. People very welcoming and invited us to join their group to play. We were told people show up to play in the mornings around 7:00 til 10:00 and again in the evening from 6:00 til 10:00 ish.

Park is very spacious and nice, the playground equipment is great and the space itself is also great for walking/running. Its not the best for sports but certainly good and the hill is awesome during snowy times!
