Connors Park is a favorite meeting place and a respite in the middle of the busy Windy City...

This is a terrific spot in the middle of the busy Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. Along with nearby Mariano Park just north, these two places make a nice respite from the crowds of the city. Connors Park is unique in that it's got an Argo Tea outlet occupying much of the park. While some lament the commercialization of open space, this Argo store has cleaned up the park and created an inviting place to relax, indoors or out. Check out the placard in this park providing a brief detail of William J. Connors, prominent Illinois legislator after whom this park is named.

This is such a adorable little park. I love that the Argo tee is right there. It reminds me of a little cottage lost in the forest, yet you're right in the middle of the city. Very peaceful place to visit when the hustle and bustle of the city becomes too much.

Nice park to take a break and it's near the best Argo in the city.

The park is a great surprise given the palisade of buildings and traffic that tends to surround it. Much of the park itself is taken up by the Argo Tea, but it does not hurt the impact too much.

This is a really gorgeous Park. No matter what time of year you can sit in the tea shop and enjoy your beverage while looking out into the park. I really enjoyed this place it was very calming and we relax for a while before continuing to wonder Chicago.

Cool oasis in the center of the hot city. Nice, cute, clean. Huge choice of yummy ice cream. Stuff is friendly and helpful. And-YES, you could try your chosen ice cream before ordering.

Great small park just off of Michigan Avenue with an Argo Tea that occupies the space. Very peaceful and plenty of dog walking happens here.

The park is good to sit on the bench but your only view is buildings and it is a small park with no room to jog or play football
