This is a lovely park which is considerate of kids, dog walkers, readers, and runners alike. There are a lot of little features for little ones to play with and comfortable spots to sit in the shade.

To many rude people walking without their dogs on leashes Its a shame about how many times dogs get into a situation because of a few that think they are the dog whisperer smh if you love your dog put then on a leash its a city ordinance . Nobody wants to see anything happen to any ones pets or loved ones We got to remember they are animals and choose to listen .

Palmer Square Park is amazing and there is a small play area in the middle of the park that is part playground and part art installation. The playground is designed for younger children (under 5 years old) and is based on the book "The Velveteen Rabbit." The play area is somewhat linear and consists of four area connected by a walking path as well as a stepping stone path. One area is a raised stage with an audience of carved animals, the next is a little area with sculptural benches that look like tree stumps, the next is a flat area with a few pieces of equipment including a slide set into a small hill, and finally there is a small mound with two rabbit sculptures on top. The setting within Palmer Square Park is great - the park is covered with trees and is part of the boulevard system so it's somehow calm and quiet while also being lively. There are a few benches and lots of trees making this a perfect spot to bring a blanket to share a book or a picnic in the shade. This isn't not a traditional playground and will likely not entertain older children but this is a great spot for younger children; highly recommend.

Never been here before, ended up there last night for a socially distanced birthday party and I can say in all honesty it became my favorite park in Chicago. Everywhere you looked people were picnicking in pairs or in small groups, mainly adults very few children on our end of the park. Extremely romantic and very Paris-like atmosphere.

A Unique park just south of the heart of Logan Square. Great for walking or just playing. There aren’t that many places for your kids to play but there are some interesting climbs or structures. No accessible bathrooms, so that can be an issue.

Lovely medium size park. Lots of space for dogs, play areas for kids, even has a running trail around the perimeter, which unfortunately tends to flood or just become a muddy mess after rain

Nice park! Had some live music the day I happened to be there. There were quite a few people there, but there is plenty of space to social distance if you so choose. Very family-friendly, as there were lots of kids around.

We love this park. Easy walking trail around the park, including a small children's play area and some public art with trees scattered throughout.

My wife and I had our picnic here a couple weeks back. It’s the most serene park to us. There were joggers, dog walkers & just good people all around. We enjoyed ourselves. Great memories…

Decent little park with a frame of roadways. Basically this park is the center of a boulevard. Some play equipment for kids, places to sit others about a the walking paths. In summer small concerts are held.

Beautiful large park, on warm days it is thriving and there are so many people taking walks and walking dogs and having picnics. Shady place with beautiful trees, squirrels, and a cute little park for kiddos.

Beautiful nature and a large space. I just wish they would have a full playground for kids.

This seems like a little secret place in the midst of bustling Logan Square. When we crossed the street into the park, the temperature dropped by ten degrees. It was great to see people in hammocks, doing yoga, and having a great time with their families.

Palmer is by far one of the chillest, positive vibe emitting outdoor spaces in Chicago. I love this park so much and recommend it for a picnic and for a nice day laying out in the sun. Also the trail is almost exactly 0.5 miles and softer than concrete which makes it great for running!
