We really enjoy going to this park as a family. The kids love the playground. They have one side for the smaller kids and one side for the bigger kids which is nice. There are two tennis courts and even a fenced in soccer field! There is a ton of grass and we love walking our dog over there. It’s always clean and people pick up after their pets there which is nice. This is a great place to take your family for some free outdoor fun!

the woman who is in the reception. She always has a lot of attitude with the people in the park, even with the Children. Please management, should talk to her, since it is through the community that the park receives funds for improvements to the establishment and if they stop going to the programs the park would lose state support

Nice park, but they need to invest more to it. they have a soccer field section freshly new (fake grass)... but really need to fix the play ground it's all wood chips, (cheap) they need to invest in the rubber play ground flooring instead with all the kids that play here. My guess is because its predominately a Hispanic area they left it like sh#t, but go up to the parks in the white neighborhood and they have all the nice swings and rubber Matt flooring... smh

As far as chicago parks go, this place is pretty nice. Especially when you live close by, its a great place to bring the kids. Large track area is great but people should really pick up after their dog!! Maybe some signs need to be placed about that. And someone said something about drunks being here? I've been at this park numerous times and never encountered any drunks 🤷🏽‍♀️ overall its a nice park, I think I might just sign up to volunteer too!

I came here for lap swimming, staff are nice and friendly, the pool was great (a bit small but that's okay), I hope that they'll give members a disinfecting spray to use and return just like some other parks do and put liquid soap in the showers.

My co-workers and I were @ this park doing Census Taking as part of our job @ North West Side Housing Center. I found it to be a place of gathering for all the nearby friendly neighbors. I did notice that it needs some maintenance. For example, one of the trees needs new mulge around it. Also, I was able to enjoy some Tacos from “El Azteca” on one of the park’s picnic benches, with one of my co-workers @ the end of our shift.

The summer camp leaders must make sure children pick up after themselves after snack time. There were milk cartons and pears everywhere. I'm disappointed because we must teach children to respect our neighborhood and the environment by throwing away our trash!

I tried to go to the lap swim on Friday at 7:15 pm. Per the website, it should be open, but it was not, and there was no sign stating it would be closed. They also still had their fall schedule posted instead of winter. Looks like a nice park otherwise.

As Chicago Parks go, this one is ok. The field is sprawling and in fairly good condition. The playground is extensive and the sprinkler is great for kids in the summer. I haven't been in the field house. The benches by the baseball diamonds should be replaced as they're sinking into the ground and I'd love to see some flowers somewhere.
