A very long, thin park along the east side of Soldier Field with a number of memorials dotting it. The entire path is not paved, so it may prove inconvenient for those who require wheels to get around. The park itself is quite beautiful and almost hidden away even though it is right along the lakefront trail as well.

Beautiful and moving. Got there when it was dark but that did not take away from its beauty. Very touching.

Wonderful memorial by the City of Chicago Park District to Gold Star Families of Officers who have sacrificed life and injury during service. Right next to Burnham Harbor & Soldier Field

Never forget those who’ve fallen. Very clean park. Very somber 😔 area especially with Soldier Field right across the street

Serene little park has a wonderful little path. Very tasteful and enjoyable for a stroll. There were lots of lights set up for the holiday but none were lit during the day.

Words can not express the feeling of sadness you feel for the loss of all of these officers and the families they left behind. Most important for me to find Paul Bauer since he was the commander in the police district I currently live in and Ella French. May they rest in peace.
