Small, but my dog loves it!!! Such a fun spot for the dogs to run around as well as cool off in the lake.

My puppy Mr. Troika had an insanely wonderful time here this afternoon-- that is why the high rating. He couldn't stop smiling and running free in the water. My only issue though is the gate entrance is extremely inconvenient and the ledge is very narrow for large breed dogs like mine. Also the gate is extremely high meaning my dog had to jump about 4 feet down to reach the sand below the entry gate. Someone should add more sand so that the dogs don't have to leap down so far especially for older dogs with joint issues. The dog shampoo bath station is a wonderful convenience and I made use of it this afternoon. However my dog was able to leap over the barrier with his collar still attached to the hook because the hook is way too close to the edge of the bathtub. My dog πŸ• was afraid of the noises from the blow dryer and leaped over the barrier. A really nice young man saved my dog by grabbing him and unlatching the collar from the hook. The tub might be problematic for huge dogs who are nervous. We had a great time ....highly recommend! Just be cautious entering the beach because the ledge is really high off the ground.

Love this little dog beach. Usually less busy than other dog friendly areas. Fun for my little pup to play in the calm harbor water. I hope they do some landscaping work in the spring. The sand had eroded at the end of the summer and the entry ramp ended about 6 feet into the water. I had to jump the railing to land on sand.

Small fenced in dog beach. Not a ton of room for dogs to run around, so it's mostly great for those hot summer days when your dog just wants to get in the water!

My dog loves this beach! This enclosed, single gated dog beach is a perfect size for your dog to run around while you can still keep a close eye on your furry friend. The water is shallow and forgiving to small dogs and first timers. Great little spot for your dog in the city. It is easily accessible from the Lake shore path

Our pup loved it here! It was our first time today and it was a lot smaller than expected, so we waited a few minutes for some others to leave. Our pup loves dog parks but he usually just keeps to himself and picks up tennis balls. I don’t know what it was about here - the sand, the water, but he went wild running around with the other dogs.

Love taking our puppy here in the summer. Small beach with only a few dogs so our puppy doesn't get overwhelmed. Water is calm which makes it for lots of water play time.

Thrilled to have this place within walking distance. It's especially great when you can find a less busy hour to come, though it's never been uncomfortably crowded.

My dog loved it here! Great outdoor area and its amazing how it is fenced in so I can let my dog off her leash. Would definitely reccomend taking your pup here for an afternoon!

Way smaller than I would have imagined. Definitely not a place for dogs to roughhouse. Recommended for puppies so you can teach them how to swim or for dogs that love fetch.

Small and safe. I love this park - the entrance requires you to wade into the water which is fantastic as it keeps the water shy dogs and owners out. This beach is mainly for dogs who can swim and play fetch into the water. The small size of the beach is perfect. This is a dog beach more geared towards playing fetch and not to just run around. My advice is that if you want to relax and hang out with your dog at the beach, go to Montrose. You find mostly local residents with their water loving dogs at this park, which makes it a nice environment for everyone.

😐 You can park for as little as $2 for 1 hour. While I came here to see The Secret Mermaid, I was disturbed by the amount of trash, plastic, and glass on the beach. There are trash cans and recycling containers every 50 feet but trash everywhere. I started to pick up trash to keep it from going into...
