This park has slowly gained attention over the years. I've been a runner here for a while and definitely see more runners and a more diverse crowd overall. It's about 1.2 miles in circumference and has a beautiful inner loop with turtles, ducks and other animals. The track got remodelled some time last year and the soccer field is well-kept. The park has lots of green space, and a cool playground for kids on one corner. I'm grateful for it.

Beautiful park! I loved walking with the family through the park. The kids loved seeing turtles and ducks in the water. There were a lot of people out enjoying the park over the weekend, and we saw a lot of families. There are even some vendors selling ice cream, snacks, and drinks which was nice. It’s very well kept and we’ll be visiting again soon.

Ten (10!) nice tennis courts all lighted until park closes. One of the most under appreciated chicago park district tennis facilities.

Fantastic park. My Son is on the soccer team and a few of the games are scheduled for that park. Lots of fields. Easy exit, and commute home. Very clean and walking tracks. Check it out if you are in the area, or just want to relax for awhile.

Great neighborhood park on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Lots of space for a variety of activities. There is a pool, baseball fields, football field, children play area, two play areas, a huge pond. Sooo much to see and do here? Great for parties with family and friends. Make a trip and stay all day, you won’t regret it!

Ice skate for free if you have your own skates. If not, seven bucks, hockey skate rental. The ice gets pretty tore up, but I went on Sunday afternoon. Porta potties outside, so brrrrrr......

Such a great park to spend some family time on the weekends! They have a pond with plenty of ducks and geese. Also, they host a lot of events for the community. Great location must check it out!

One of the best places to trip on mushrooms, and right next to a well known mall too. Only a block away from the Grand stop

This is my local park, they have a pond where you can feed the ducks and their chicks. They have a private spot with a beautiful waterfall where you can sit and talk. They have 2 gorgeous playgrounds (1 for younger children, and 1 for an older crowd of teens and adults) Riis has a water park which is connected to one of the playgrounds all the way in the back of the park. They have a public pool, an ice skating rink. A football, soccer, and baseball field, they also have a tennis court. And we have food stands and even 2 huge parking lots, Riis park hosts carnivals and festivals every year with tons of roller coasters and rides! Riis park is a great place to take your kids out for a nice walk, a good place to take your dog out for a good steady run!
