Gill Park Pool is not ice cold easy to get in for the first time and it's busy and I love to watch the little toddlers, they swim like fish and I cannot swim at all but I'm coming along. On hot days Gill Park Pool is perfect and I love the water, also I watch the people swim from one end of the pool to another. The watch guards are on duty at all times and I'm glad about that because I held on the side of the pool and I went to the deep end frightened and I came back again to three feet of water. And from that experience I am gaining confidence that one day I will swim like the little toddlers. Sometimes they make adults like me look so helpless LOL.

I took my daughter to a swimming class here. The number of swim teachers were very good. The pool water was a little cool and I think the water should be a warmer for the kids. The closet and shower area was also clean but there was no place to change swimsuits. The biggest advantage here is the reasonable price of its services. In addition to the pool, there is a basketball court, a gym and community rooms.

I swim at a lot of pools in the city. Gill is super clean, way more than some other pools at private gyms. It's also not over-chlorinated, which is another issue at mentioned gym pools. The locker room is also clean. Staff and lifeguards are friendly and professional. Generous lunchtime lap swim time.

Great place for seniors to swim. The water was warm. Locker room was clean. You can shower after your swim.

It's a nice pool and isn't overcrowded typically with 6 lanes. The staff is friendly and it's clean. The only downside is the water is a tad warm. I think they said they keep it at 81 or 84 and the soap dispensers in the showers are empty sometimes, but neither bothers me that much. It's a great deal and I probably shouldn't be writing this because I don't want to get the secret out. lol

Decent pool! 6 lane shallow deep. Water temp and ventilation not ideal.

Gill Park is I great facility, and it has very good staff working there. They also have security because it is a public building, so be aware and secure your belongings. And you and children will have a great time here.

Clean pool! Somewhat dirty stairwells. One very professional and one "feisty" lifeguard.

First let me preface this with I love this pool, I used to swim here everyday pre-panini, 5 stars! All the previous staff/lifeguards I interacted with were chill and great! HOWEVER, this 1-star is specifically for the front desk worker and police person (why was she even hanging out there?) who were working Tues evening 7pm. I went in to ask a question about any remaining COVID safety precautions at the swimming pool, bc I've been trying to get back into swimming safely. First, they didn't even greet me, No 'hi, hello, or good evening, or how can I help you' - just nothing. I'm not saying they gotta be perky, but at least a greeting! You're front desk! They just stared at me with no expression, answered with 1-word responses, didn't offer any more details, and acted like I was an inconvenience on their time for asking a question about safety. Then the police officer made condescending and dismissive remarks to me, cutting in when I wasn't even asking her, I was asking the park worker. The overall attitude was patronizing, condescending, indifferent, apathetic, and dismissive. It felt like I was talking to 2 Karens who were just staring me down. I was flabbergasted and taken aback. Pretty unfortunate bc I really liked the staff that used to work here.

The price and spaciousness is great at this place. Just wish that the water temperature wasn't so warm! I like to swim laps but I quickly overheat with the water temp set so high. I'd really love this place more if they'd just lower the water temperature.
