My
fiancé
and
I
came
into
the
ER
the
night
before
around
7:30pm
and
left
by
2:30am.
Most
of
the
ER
staff
were
burnt
out,
rude/angry
and
(Im
assuming)
tired.
I
tried
to
ask
one
of
the
front
desk
women
something
and
she
cut
me
off
mid-question
to
explain
(in
a
very
condescending
manner)
“how
an
ER
works”
as
if
I
was
inconveniencing
her
by
asking
anything
at
all.
My
original
question
was
never
asked
or
understood
because
by
assuming
she
knew
what
I
was
going
to
say
before
it
was
said,
I
never
had
the
opportunity
to
ask.
The
triage
nurse,
was
so
very
rude,
very
inattentive
and
unprofessional.
He
kept
asking
the
same
questions
over
and
over
because
he
wasn’t
listening
the
first
time
and
seemed
to
just
not
want
to
be
there
overall.
He
assumed
I
knew
what
childbirth
felt
like
and
compared
it
to
my
level
of
pain.
He
made
me
extremely
uncomfortable.
Later
after
being
called
to
the
back,
I
found
out
that
he
unfortunately
was
my
nurse
too.
He
started
me
on
an
IV
drip
and
tried
to
insert
the
needle
into
the
same
vein
the
lab
tech
had
previously
drawn
from
after
triage.
He
got
frustrated
when
I
asked
him
to
put
GLOVES
on
and
was
rough
with
inserting
the
needle.
He
also
lied
about
not
having
any
blankets
when
I
asked
for
one.
I
ignored
it
all
because
I
wasn’t
feeling
my
best
and
because
I’m
just
not
an
unkind
person.
Sometimes
you
have
to
ignore
peoples
ignorance.
The
doctor
assigned
to
me
however
was
very
nice
and
professional.
He
even
brought
my
fiancé
and
I
blankets
IMMEDIATELY
after
the
nurse
lied
about
them
not
having
anymore.
However
when
he
left
the
room
and
sent
the
nurse
back,
he
told
me
that
he
was
giving
me
“medication.”
I
asked
him
“what
is
the
name
of
the
medicine?”
He
said
“Oh.
Wait
a
moment”.
I
said
“okay”.
He
then
began
to
login
to
his
computer.
I’m
assuming
because
he
didn’t
know
what
he
was
giving
me
himself?
That
was
strange
to
me
but
I
said
ok.
He
logged
into
the
computer
and
clicked
around
for
a
minute
or
two
and
then
clicked
off.
He
grabbed
a
cup
and
motioned
towards
me
with
it
and
said
“here
take
this”
I
asked
him
AGAIN
what
is
it.
He
told
me
the
name
VERY
RELUCTANTLY.
As
if
there
was
a
problem
with
me
wanting
to
know
what
was
being
given
to
me
TO
INGEST
INTO
MY
BODY.
My
girlfriend
noticed
my
increasing
frustration
and
asked
him
for
me
“well
what
does
it
do?”
He
then
asked
her
(while
completely
ignoring
the
question
“why
are
you
here?
Why
did
you
come
here
with
her?”
She
asked
him
why
he
was
talking
to
her
in
that
manner
and
he
just
repeated
the
question.
I
then
asked
“why
won’t
you
just
tell
me
what
my
medication
is
and
what
it
is
for?
Do
you
not
know?”
He
replied
aggressively
and
dismissively
“I
am
not
going
to
go
back
and
forth
with
you!
If
you
do
not
want
it
then
ok!
You
refused!”
I
told
him
that
I
didn’t
want
him
to
reenter
my
room
and
asked
for
someone
else.
When
that
person
came,
I
told
him
that
I’d
like
to
file
a
complaint.
I
asked
for
the
nurses
name
(
the
same
one
who
triaged
me
in)
and
he
told
me
his
name
is
Henry.
I
asked
for
the
last
name
and
he
told
me
he
could
not
give
it
to
me.
He
said
he’s
never
had
a
problem
with
Henry
and
he’s
usually
nice.
My
fiancé
went
to
the
hall
to
ask
the
nurse
himself
and
he
also
refused.
She
mentioned
that
she
observed
him
laughing
about
what
happened
and
in
pleasant
spirits
with
his
coworkers.
Leads
me
to
believe
that
he
was
not
in
a
bad
mood.
Maybe
he
was
just
homophobic
towards
us.
We
weren’t
rude
to
him
so
I
don’t
see
any
other
reason
for
his
behavior
the
entire
night.
I
asked
for
someone
who
was
in
charge
and
they
sent
in
the
same
woman
who
had
an
attitude
at
the
front
desk.
I
told
her
I’d
like
to
file
a
formal
complaint
repeatedly!
She
ignored
me,
was
very
short
and
told
me
(after
cutting
my
complaint
short)
that
she’d
“take
note
of
it”.
No
pen
and
paper
or
anything!
I
am
extremely
disappointed
in
the
“care”
I
received
and
still
have
yet
to
receive
an
apology
or
any
accountability
from
the
staff!
I’ve
been
here
before
and
received
excellent
care
but
this
particular
night
and
group
of
people
on
staff
was
really
a
disappointment.
