On
March
11th
2019
I
visited
the
ER
due
to
a
fall
on
the
ice.
Both
elbows
were
injured,
one
with
an
open
wound.
After
5
plus
hours
of
waiting,
I
was
seen
by
a
doctor,
but
not
in
a
room.
Rather,
in
the
hallway
of
the
nursing
station.
I
was
told
there
were
no
broken
bones,
and
the
wound
was
lightly
washed,
and
I
was
sent
on
my
way
with
a
bandage.
No
antibiotics,
no
pain
medicine,
nothing.
6
days
later,
my
entire
arm
was
swollen,
and
I
was
unable
to
close
my
hand.
I
visited
a
Urgent
care
center.
My
arm
was
infected,
and
the
wound
had
to
be
cut
open,
drained,
cleaned
and
packed.
I
was
told
it
should
have
been
stitched.
I
received
two
oral
antibiotics,
as
well
as
a
shot.
This
was
done
for
$200.
My
ER
bill
after
insurance
was
$1,550.
FOR
NOTHING
but
gauze,
salt
water,
and
X-Rays.
I
wouldn't
recommend
this
hospital
to
anyone.
I
should
have
gone
to
Evanston
Hospital.
