A good marketplace for the food 🍱 and grocery. Wall green and Office Depot are nearby. Kind of everything is nearby so love this place to get anything at one place on 55th street.

Happy Nails Salon is the only nails shop that I know that doesn't take appointments. It's a walk-in only nail salon. I absolutely enjoy going to a nail shop that I can patronize when I can. The best tables are #3, #4 and the reception area. I only like being serviced by the girl at table #4. She's a great manicurist and pedicurist. Walk-in and check it out for yourself.

I mean Trader Joe's is always on point. Got what we needed, helper friendly and professional. Always a go to!

Best place to be when the weather cooperates. I was there for the garden fair and will be back for the book fair. There is a post office tucked away in a corner. There may be a line, but they care here, so it normally doesn't take long. A nail salon (they ruined my nails) They are cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you need groceries, there is Trader Joe's. If it is something small, Walgreens is almost always open. If you don't want to cook, there are a few restaurants to choose from in the area, Ascione Bistro, if you want to relax with friends or have a date night. The toy store has a range of toys from the latest trendy thing to basic wooden blocks. They also have games of strategy and doll houses. Even toys for the kid in you. This area is beautiful in the summertime and a safe place to sit and admire the scenery or watch people walk by.

Busy place. Almost seems packed.. Many shops, stores, food places. Nice outside courtyard type of sitting area. Saltines look at you funny if you're of darker skin. Gentrification for sure. Great service in Walgreens.

A lovely little mall with interesting stores and restaurants. Jazz in the Courtyard is a plus in the summer. Walgreens, Trader Joe’s and Office Depot are probably their anchor stores but there are small cute little places to explore. There is something every weekend going on in the mall, a must visit if you are in the area.

Hyde Park Shopping Center offers an eclectic array of popular as well as unique shopping and dining experiences: Walgreens, Trader Joe's, Office Depot, Post Office, Nail Salon, Toy Store, Shoe Store, French Restaurant, Italian Bistro, French Bakery, Potbellys, Rosin Eyecare, just to name a few. In the Fall, there's a used book fair; in the Spring, plant & flower fair; in the Summer, live jazz. A great place to sit outside and relax or people watch. Lots of free parking.

I went to the Walgreen store in this shopping center. It's my regular store. Got what I needed and left. Not crowded, in and out.

Great shopping center! Trader Joe's, Walgreens and Potbelly's are the staple. The shoe store has fantastic staff and a warm atmosphere. Good deal on shoes too. The eye doctor is wonderful and Ace hardware is the place for helpful hardware folks. Its the southern point of a great shopping area, with fantastic parking. Start here and head north to a perfect hype shopping district with a casual feel. It's win win with this place.

Storage very clean the customers and the people that come in a very polite and the service of the people that they’re a very polite. They may need more people to be on the register so people can leave faster but other than that they are fantastic.

I went to Walgreens but there are tons of other shop in this strip mall. It's safe because allied universal patrols the parking lot and 9/10 there's a police parked in the lot as well.

Hyde park cleaners is a great place to get high end clothing dry cleaned and or altered highly recommend

IT is too much work just to get IN the store!!!! Chicago must be a broke state, they charge you for EVERYTHING!!! I had to pay to park at target bro..... Then walk 3blocks go in a elevator just to get in the store then I had to go up more stairs just to get a pillow 🤦🏽‍♀️ NO, NEVER AGAIN

Trader Joe's has gotten us thru cov. This store is what makes shopping worthwhile! Clean, well stocked, and cashiers, and stock/floor clerks are very polite. We will always come back fir our healthy, good food stuff, and the plants. Thank you! You all are AWESOME!!!

Trader Joe's has the best produce, reasonable prices, and courteous, friendly employees.

This location has always appealed to its neighborhood needs for various ethnicities due the U of Chgo Ed programs from Elem to Doctoral education and research,

Large selection of spirit's but they do drop the ball at keeping stock up. An easy fix true enough, but based on the amount of volume coming through. Missed revenue is just unexcusable.

I went to the 24hr. Walgreens to purhase some laundry Detergent. All the employees had an attitude. That's my fault I forgot too I should purhase it from Walmart where it cost less and the employees are nice.

It was Ace Hardware, been in business, I guess before Lowes and home depot, the brightest spot other than hardware and the like, they sell REDVINE, like in theaters!

It'd been a long time since I've been there. That end has changed a lot. Besides Walgreens, everything else is gone. Still had the nice "escape the 🥵,(with 🌴🌴 and 🌬️ on the Garfield side with seats- a lot of them for the outdoor cafe.

Had never been. I was delighted at what was tucked beyond the trees. I will definitely be visiting again👍

In day I went to Office Depot to print and fax. The young lady behind the counter looked like she was having a bad hair and dress day. Asking her for help was not on her agenda. They young however was very pleasant and helpful. Two main problems. Only 1 fax machine works. And second I had my great grandson age 3 with me. When I asked for the bathroom usage for him I was told it was out of order. Seems impossible . What do lawn employees use. My great grandson of course had an accident . I was totally upset ,he was upset and was crying because he thought he had done something wrong. Ruined his new Nike outfit. The jogging suit can be replaced. But the indignity he endured is not acceptable to me.

It's always....nice shopping in this shopping center. However, I just visited the Post Office today...sometimes they can be really mean in there....but they have some new younger clerks working and they seem a bit nicer...but yes some of their attitudes are challenging. I still go....when I'm in the area.

Was there to get my favorite drink. Love this Strawberry & Rasberry Rossini. Also comes in Peach, Grapefruit and Mango.

You can pretty much grab everything you need from here. Groceries, lunch, hardware tools, office supplies, a latte from a nice French cafe and much more! Great little shopping mall in the heart of Hyde park!

First time here, nice small shopping area with good variety of places to go. Lots of parking and multiple entrances/exits. I'd need a bigger supermarket, don't like Trader Joe's much, but maybe just me. Still good place to shop around.

Area needs better stores( nike etc). The subway is still lying about bathroom being out of order. Come on now.. Almost a year now. I'll be calling the city soon

I was Robbed at gunpoint Saturday Night leaving Walgreens as I walked on Lake Park Avenue near Office Depot and people drove pass and did nothing at all. I was almost killed over material things. 😢

His store was clean staff was very friendly one but they do not have some of the regular items that you would get from your normal grocery store

A good roomy place. I'd totally recommend for someone just needing a place to get some stuff and go! Or even just taking a look around, seeing the nice organized shelves, or buying an entire refrigerator! Staff are sociable and really nice! (started a whole convo with a few of em) Amazing!

This place is great on one hand for having everything you need at pretty reasonable prices for the neighborhood. On the other hand, I've experienced a lot of shoppers that are really disrespectful of personal space and otherwise rude. I expect more cordiality for the Hyde Park neighborhood so, through no fault of the owners as far as I can tell, I must give this place an okay review but not a great review

The location was easy to find. There was plenty of parking and many options for dining, markets, office needs and more. It was clean and safe.

Visited Trader Joe's. I enjoyed the experience. I purchased food and wine. Both were exceptional value.

Plus - I believe that the post office here is open later on Saturdays than most other post offices. This place is convenient as I can park and go to several different business. So this rating is really because of convenience. Negative - There is ALWAYS only one person working when I visit this post office.
