The Metra market now a days called French Market is and small but beautiful place to go grab a bite at any time of day. Very clean and well maintained it offers foods from different countries in the world 🌎. A must visit place in Chicago.

This place is a beautiful treasure in the West loop. They have a city market which offers an array of just about anything you need... from vegetables, fruits and staples to prepared foods, drinks and so much more. Inside the market there are a number of counter foods which vary in ethnic offerings. It's hard to choose just one. It's worth a trip just to taste the amazing food at The Lunch Box. They have an area where you can bring your food, socialize and enjoy the atmosphere.

Metra market is a high end food court. Many different vendors, serving God groom all over the world. Korean, Mexican, French and several others. The prices are reasonable, the seating is not ample, so many people get their food to go. There is also a grocery store, you can grab some items before getting on the train to go home. Had some coworkers from our D.C. office in town for a week, they wanted to eat there everyday, trying different vendors.

Great place to pick up snack on the go, between hopping on or off a train, or just while you're in the neighborhood. I'm always surprised at the selection of fresh fruit, and the selection of available bakery goods to be found here. I especially like browsing the store when I am waiting to catch a train.

Just starting to open up with about half the places serving food right now. Great spot to grab a quick bite and get but some water and wait for metra train in cold air.

So many options of food. Personally, I would go with the miso bowl or Belgium fries. They have a sushi spot that looks delicious but I have yet to try. Donuts and crepes are lovely. Smoothies, fresh juices and teas are flavorful. The markets are great!!!

An excellent lunch spot. A huge array of options makes it a great place to swing by with picky coworkers. The food definitely has an authentic feel to it and each stall really goes out if their way to differentiate themselves

It's "French" market that ironically embodies the modern France - precense of foreign culture dominates more than things that what people traditionally perceived as French. There's only one store that serves French food and another store that sells cheese and wine. All other stores are varieties of international food like sushi, Korean, chinese, Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, Belgian, Kenyan, American Vegan, etc. It's fun place to visit but come with reasonable expectation or else you'll be disappointed.

This shopping area was fantastic! I've got a new Kate Spade in New York! I was able to choose the best pack because they had every color I desired. There were also a lot of lovely clothes on the scene. I just purchased a new pair of shoes. I'm sure I'll return to this shopping area again and again. The best place to go shopping!

Great little market with all sorts of ethnic foods. They are mostly not open for breakfast though. There were a few places open by around 9am, but only one or two out of maybe 20.

I love the MetraMarket atmosphere. Its just that some people took advantage of the tourists here sometimes. Two guys approached us asking if we want free CDs. After that they requested us for tips. I took out a 5 dollar bill, and they were asking for 2x20 bucks. I said I would like to return the CDs but they insisted and since they were both big guys, i thought I just gave it. knowing that i'm from out of town, i guess they just took advantage of us. Geez. Other than that I enjoyed the food, the shopping area, and the sealion.

There is an arcade area for families. Games, rides, entertainment area. There is shops and some restaurants too. I does get crowded but it is a hot spot to check out and explore and see with the fam or even as a couple. I enjoyed coming for a quick adventure as I passed through Chicago, IL

It's nice, there some places to eat and to get a quick bite. It needs to be developed a bit more, meaning, more vendors and places. Try the empanadas place, they are very tasty.
