Bathrooms smell people waiting outside begging for money not food! Best to go during the day

It's kind of a small grocery store with less selection than other Jewels I've been to. That isn't to say you won't find what you need as their produce section is pretty good. I guess I'm comparing it to my Jewel which has a produce section that is double the size and 12 aisles of shopping. This is like a mini Jewel for tiny people. Even as I waited in line at self checkout, me and several other people kept bumping into one another with our carts because the self checkout was literally so condensed. I said excuse me 12 times and 3 people bumped into me as they grabbed their bags while I was ringing up mine. It was a fun experience regardless and the staff was very friendly all around.

Their curbside pickup was effortless! Appreciate the process and great service. I had to be reminded that they are not allowed to take cash tips.

My spirits this time was it you smell fish at the front entrance. And once again they don't never have a turtle cheesecake whenever I come in there. Before I went out of town I went three days in a row and they did not have any turtle cheesecake.

I always enjoyed myself shopping in this jewel because the workers are are always helpful to me.

Need to clean up the panhandlers around the store my daughter hate going to this jewels it close to home but she refuses to go there

Other than a few young employees who work there who aren't polite or helpful, just one of the best Jewel-Osco in the city.

I found just about everything I was looking for. This is a low rating because of the night shift team leader. Her nasty disposition and disrespectful ways towards a valued, long term customer disgusted me. I will report her to the upper management and hopefully she’ll get trained on how to work with the public! My experience was horrible!

This store is well organized, clean and the staff is very helpful and polite.

Went to Jewel-Osco. Very good service from Customer Service today: exchanged an item and answered my questions about using reward points without attitude and judgment. I went through a cashier's line with no problem until I placed newly purchased items in the plastic Jewel bag that I had from Customer Service and the cashier snapped at me that he thought I said I didn't want bags. I told him I already had the bag. He rolled his eyes and jerked his head around liked a teenager (appeared to be at least 30). I told him he was rude and I left. Good example of why self-checkout can be a most pleasant experience.

Got my booster shots here at Jewel Osco Roosevelt & Ashland. The pharmacy doctor had really light hands administering the shot.

A little rude. With old, dried out vegetables....it's supposed to be "Subway eat fresh"

Appreciate the food and service at the See-Thru Chinese Kitchen. The wait time is decent and the food is always delicious; the service is quick and welcoming.

Nice, clean place with pleasant people. But no helium because of the 4th of July and graduation.

Jewel is my go-to grocery store. I love that each location is basically the same great quality store. The lot feels safe. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their products and prices are always good. Why can't other chains take note? Jewel and Costco are great! Others are hit or miss!

Normally I don't shop at jewels.They do have a lot of fresh items here.They also have nice mark downs and clearance.

This store is always clean and if you can't find something. The staff is willing to help. They don't send you off to someone else I love shopping there.

Jewels is one of my favorite places to shop, there quality of food , prices and service is really good.

The bathroom is terrible. Need locks on it unless you are a customer. Establishment could be cleaner.

Compared to 'Pete's Fresh Market', Jewel still has better deals and better savings.

Awesome cashier just couldn't find any more pure leaf sweet tea. Other than that a great experience very clean and organized.

Just picking up a staple. I have shared that this store needs some management they are never going to get, probably because of the population that they serve. They don't think we deserve better service and store supplies.

Very clean and fully stocked. The cashier was very professional. She even bagged all my groceries and place them in the cart for me.

The Jewel is nice and staff is friendly but the area is a little unkempt. The Starbucks is littered with iffy looking characters who just stare or ask for change. I wouldn't want to be a woman walking through here at night alone.

Pretty decent walk; however, It would be much more enjoyable if the walkways were clean and free of debris and trash.

Ordered online and it took them 15 minutes to bring out and they didn't have what I wanted so they substituted what I ordered

Only one entrances and the same exit, is a great concern. The worker's could be more polite on where things are. More electric carts are needed. I'm on a cane, and saw a few elderly / handicapped people, who could've use them if were available. The produce/ bakery/ deli, looked well maintained.

If you're on a time limit the Captain Hooks fish & Chicken is not place to go because it's a long wait. I tried ordering ahead by calling in my order for pick up but there was no answer. Other than that the food is on point and well worth the wait if you have time.

I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and decided to stop in for a couple of items. I was so glad I did Jewel had my Orange Roughy, I have been a couple of places they didn't have it. Thanks so much.

Well stocked store. Clean and safe. No lines no wait. plenty of parking. Go to place. Don't forget to pick up those items for Super Bowl Sunday and Valentine Day

Good assortment of what you want and the prices are reasonable and I would go back again of course

I love this place...no problem with this store.

I went there to get some food for my visit at Rush Hospital nearby. I grabbed some sushi and it was very good. I also got a roast beef sandwich. The store was very clean and well stocked. Lots of cashiers so practicality no wait at all for check out.

The store and staff are fine, but the clientele are often kind of rough...I've been panhandled for $ while in the checkout line. 😳
