Hands down...one of the best Spa's in Chicago, Miami, New York. The calm energy, professionalism of the staff, variety of treatments (LOVE their Fusion Massages, The pedicure's with Kelli are AMAZING!!!). I would highly recommend this spa and I am an avid Spa Addict, and I always return to Exhale. Although I have only done the yoga classes, their core fusion classes look great and they seem to really work out the participants. I currently have a Monthly Membership and I am always looking forward to my monthly massage at Exhale!! A Great relaxing experience....Check it Out!!

Went for a massage. The experience overall was good. There were some things that I can point out: 1. I didn't liked that in order to get to the massage area you need to pass by the yoga studio. Walking with a robe in front of a yoga class felt weird. 2. The place felt a bit like a maze with all the corridors, but to their credit the decor is great and the facilities/equipment are top shape. 3. Although my massage therapist was professional and gentle, it wasn't a good match for me. In my opinion there was a lack of "listening" to my body and dealing with the sore area in my back. Not sure if I'll come back. Probably will test other places before that. But if you are not too picky about those issues you'll be fine.

I came here for a free core fitness workout. I know a lot of people come to classes for the group atmosphere, my experience was the group atmosphere here is very workout oriented. I met a lot of people no matter what size were, each they were they were very invested in their work out and getting a great job done. Coaches were good too. Place itself is very nicely laid out you have to enter and go to the second floor for the reception. There's a sauna, some massage rooms in the back and they have the usual showers and locker room area. I would say minus points would only be for the high prices but you can often get deals from them which they mail you if they have your email.

This is a great oasis located in the heart of the Gold Coast. Once you're upstairs, the maddening sounds of the city start to deafen, and you instantly feel calm here. I've taken the core classes and the yoga classes here - both are great! The core class is extra hard, but feels so good! I've also had a facial here and it was superb.

Went there for a facial. When we arrived there was major construction and painting going on which they never addressed on the phone or when we arrived. The front desk woman never showed us where the robes or anything was and clearly didn’t care. My facial was ok but there was a loud exercise class taking place and it was anything but relaxing. When I left the front desk person offered a 15% discount and I asked to see the manager. When she showed up she never even approached me and basically looked annoyed. I just explained that this was a insane way to run a business and she gave another discount with literally no apology. Honestly, don’t go here. Avoid.

I had a massage and a facial at the spa and I wasn't really satisfied with the service I got. The locker room was really basic and the massage room was not as quiet or dark as I wanted. The facial was OK but nothing special. The facialist was nice but I didn't get the results I was expecting - bright complexion and younger looking skin. There are much better spas in Chicago, so save your money.

I've been to Exhale several times for massages and facials. The spa itself is loud from the exercise classes often taking place during the same time, so if you are looking for the opportunity to relax before a service, this is definitely not the place. I've been satisfied with the services previously rendered (massages, facials, nails). However, most recently, I had an extremely poor customer service experience. A representative lied about connecting with me to confirm an appointment. This process ensued with several additional frustrating conversations with the management staff - all of whom refused to acknowledge what happened. It certainly doesn't feel like they value the business of repeat customers. There are so many great spas in Chicago, don't waste your time here.

I came here for a yoga class, and I really like the workout aspect of this place. The check-in process was painless: You sign up online, and once you're there, just give them your name. The workout room was clean and roomy. The employees were helpful in showing me where everything was and how the locker works. You don't even have to bring in your own locks or robes or gym toiletries. The yoga class was quite crowded. The instructor of the yoga class still made sure to be attentive to each student. She was very calming and helpful. She explained the moves in a manner that I was able to follow without a problem.

While you can’t tell just by the outside or walking into the front desk that you’re going to have an incredible day...let me tell you, what Exhale “lacks” in overall day spa luxury ambiance they completely deliver in services. I had a life changing facial and waxing experience from Laura G. From start to finish she made me feel comfortable, understood, and explained every detail of what she was doing. I didn’t know what I was looking for and Laura G. was the doctor and the nurse delivering the medicine. I originally came in for a custom facial, and after her full evaluation she ended up on a Cool Beam one. I couldn’t let her go just after an hour so we pushed it to 90 minutes. I can honestly say it was the best 90 minutes of my life. The waxing was standard, but Laura was meticulous in removing every bit of hair! I could not be more pleased or appreciative of how detailed she was. I normally go to Woodhouse Day Spas for the overall zen and spa experience, but since Chicago doesn’t have one I had to find somewhere new. World of Hyatt did everyone a service by purchasing the Exhale brand. They have really stepped up in hiring the right people to execute what patrons expect, and that is to be heard, cared about, and taken care of. If I lived in Chicago, I would only go to Laura G.

Bought an online deal package for 3 classes for $30 and could not be happier! The core fusion and stability classes are amazing. Seriously the best core workout class I've ever been to in all of Chicago, and unlike any other. I will definitely return as a full time customer after I take my 3rd class, and hopefully will try out their spa services as well (despite the bad reviews below).
