This was my first time eating here today and I can assure you it won’t be my last. They are very clean and festive as goes for this time of year. Great service, great food, and just a pleasant place to dine. My food was delicious and I’m glad I can add Rica Arepa to my list of spots to eat on the regular 💪🏻

First time here & first time trying Venezuelan food in general. Was a little skeptical at first because I’m always skeptical trying new food & restaurants but this place beat my expectations. Food was fresh and tasty! A little pricey but all good. I’ll pay the extra dollar for quality food any day. I gotta add, the service was great!! Will be coming back & recommending to friends and family.

It has to be said: the food coming out of this restaurant is picture perfect. All the colors and sauces definitely make your eyes hungry. The sauce they bring to the table is delicious. The fried mozzarella cheese is one of the best I’ve had. The arepas were good but I was expecting more I guess. I found the chicken in the chicken salad arepa to be tough and bland. The steak was also a bit disappointing as it had very fatty parts and tough parts. I ordered their horchata, and it was very dense and not as sweet. I didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either. We had a great server. Parking is a bit tricky, make sure you pay if you park along the main road, they had the parking enforcement out while we were eating writing tickets. Overall, happy with our food and do recommend this place. It is pretty pricey though, for an arepa place.

On a short visit to Chicago from our home in Nashville, we passed by to grab a quick meal. The food was fresh and hot, and the flavors were to die for. It's definitely hard coming by and buying authentic Venezuelan food, but the dishes here are the best you'll find outside of Venezuela itself.

Lovely decorated and “homey” little Venezuelan restaurant. Reminds me of the first times I tried arepas from a food truck in Orlando in the middle of the night. Never been in Venezuela but from the countless number of people eating inside, in the patio and delivery drivers, this pace is legit. Recommend and will be back.

Donde estan mis dos viudas arepas? 😂 The green garlicky sauce is 5 star worthy. The rest of the order were in line but the ones we were most excited to fill ourselves didn’t happen. Sent my boys for the cachapas. A bit salty and not as fluffy as my Tia’s but great taste of authenticity. The Arepa Frita Guayanes y aguacate is the fav. All of the arepas are generously filled. Black beans and rice are ok. The empanada with black beans 🫘 was lackluster.

The arepas we had were good we got 3. Packed with meat, beans cheese and 3 sweet plantains. We had the ceviche cups appetizer very tasty. We had cold (soda) beverages and all that was over $50.00. Side note: The server could be friendlier.

Still good food. Their egg Arepa is now my morning guilty meal. I was a little disappointed by the little amount of yuca fritas it came with. But they were still tasty.

Got two tequeños order and did not enjoy them at all, the only flavor we got was the one for an overused frying oil. My husband and I agreed on that. Horrible taste.

Food had delicious flavor. We ordered the pabellon and the pollo a la plancha and both were great. The garlic sauce was addicting, plantains were very soft and sweet and the soursop in milk drink was very yummy. I cannot comment on their arepas because I didn't try them but I have no complaints and would definitely come again.

Great quick service and super tasty food. I had the pabellón arepa. The meat was so soft and tender with so many great flavors combined with the arepa and plantains. So good!

Second time that I came here. The first time was good, with an excellent attention and good taste of the hamburger and Cachapa. However the second time the attention and time to deliver the food was bad. I was the last eating. I think needs to improve the communication between the crew. If the next time improves I and going to update my review.

The small tucked away restaurant is a staple of the community! They have great food and even better service. Venezuelan food that is authentic and makes you feel good! The garlic sauce was the best thing ever, I’d put it on everything if I could. Must visit!!
