Really great sandwich, especially for the price! And nice service. Does take a couple minutes and wish the seating was slightly better.

A great gem of Chicago. I had a chicken pesto sandwich and it was so fresh and so delicious. The bread had a nice crunch to it and the cheese was great. Staff was nice and quick, one of the busier stands from what I saw. Really great food here

These sandwiches are amazing. The bread is unreal - it tastes amazing and has the perfect texture for a sandwich. Combo that with fresh ingredients and friendly service make this spot one of my favorites.

Thanks to Kevin and my friends at Firenze for creating the most incredible sandwiches. Don't be fooled by the online photographs of their sandwiches, they are a hunk of amazing goodness :) Piled high with premium ingredients on fresh, home made Schiacciata bread, these sandwiches will shock your tastebuds back into reality and you will rediscover what really great sandwiches are meant to taste like !! Thanks Team Firenze !!

The spicy soppressata is the one sandwich that is advertised with a photo at the front of their stand. The picture shows a thick layer of creamy ricotta. The reality, there’s absolutely no ricotta to be seen. The sandwich is therefore extremely dry and leaves you absolutely craving the creamy ricotta. The rest of the ingredients are fine, the soppressata is good, not enough arugula. Just a disappointment, had the potential to be a new favorite sandwich spot.

The Spicy Soprressata! WOW! I would order another if I wasn't already full!

I came across Firenze as I was looking for options to host a bi-weekly "sandwich day" at work. The sandwiches were absolutely excellent (fresh ingredients, crispy schiaciatta, etc.), and the service was even better. There was a slight mixup during the ordering process but Kevin (shoutout to Kevin) called me right away to make sure everything was correct. If I could, I would eat a sandwich from Firenze every day!

Exactly what you expect from an Italian sandwich like this. It was good. I gave it 4 stars because it’s pretty odd they’re using commercially made bel gioioso ricotta instead of making it in house since the restaurant bills itself as being fresh. Ricotta is pretty easy to make so not sure why it isn’t fresh.

BEST SANDWICH EVER! Seriously, it was so good I couldn't stop to take a picture! I had the Caprese, with roasted eggplant, huge fresh mozzarella slices, greens and tomato, drizzled with balsamic, on a WELL PESTO COVERED toasted foccacci. I think this is the first place that ever actually gave me enough PESTO! If you are at Union Station, walk the 4 blocks to the French Market and this place is inside. There are tables for alfresco dining outside.

WELL-Deserved 5 stars. The food is so fresh, delicious homemade Pesto on these sandwiches, and excellent service. I used to get the Veggie sandwich, add Prosciutto. I'm a new convert to the Turkey Pecorino, but you can't go wrong at Firenze!

I stopped by a random company meeting over the summer that had chosen Firenze for catering and I could not be happier that I did. It was my first time having their sandwiches and I have been a fan since. I truly think these are the best Italian sandwiches I have ever had and certainly the best in the Loop. The bread is outstanding and brings the flavors of the sandwich to the next level. I don't even have a favorite because everything I've tried has been AMAZING. I continue to use their catering services for work and have only received positive reviews from my coworkers. You will not regret ordering anything from their menu!

Gave this place a try based on the reviews but was very disappointed at the Chicken sandwich I got. Was hard, dry and looked pathetic with barely any meat inside. I would not eat here again.

A little stall selling Italian sandwiches inside of a train station building. I got their prosciutto truffle sandwich, their bread was nicely toasted, warm, and crispy on the outside. Very generous portion of cheese and meat. Staff was friendly. Would come here again.

The food container for the Firenze Salad has become so small. It’s almost half the size it used be. Further, it used to come with these crispy pita crouton like this and a slice of bread. That is no longer the case. The salad is missing a crunch without the pita. For $11.60 + tax and tip, it’s asking a lot for what you get. The ambiance is quick , food court/plaza vibes.

Wonderful sandwiches with fresh ingredients. The bread was AMAZING! Catered for a work meeting and everyone loved it. Simple, yet satisfying!!! Thank you Firenze, you did an amazing job!!!

You know a place is good when they mess up your order and you STILL give it a great review. I stopped by and ordered the Truffle Prosciutto. It wasn't until I got back to my office that I realized they gave me the Chicken Pesto by mistake. Well, it was so good I'm just going to have to go back and try my original order. The bread is fantastic. Crunchy outside with a warm doughy inside. The pesto and fresh arugula on my sandwich were my favorite parts. Looking forward to trying more from this spot.

Fantastic takeout! Our office has gotten it several times. All of the sandwiches are on point, bread and ingredients are great. Chicken Florentine a personal favorite.

An absolutely wonderful sandwich. The bread was the perfect texture, the pesto was bright, and the vegetables were nicely roasted. I don't live in Chicago, but I'll make an effort to return here in the future.

Best sandwiches in the city. The truffle prosciutto and the hot honey soppressata sandwiches are so good. This is my go to lunch meal on Friday’s as a treat to finish my work week. Definitely try this place.

I got this delivered to me and I’m really not close to them and still this was the best sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. The veggies were roasted and seasoned perfectly, it tasted super fresh and light. I’ll for certain will be craving this and order it in a regular basis.

Fabulous sandwich and excellent service! Once you try it you are going to crave it daily!! Caprese is my absolute favorite. Everything about it is so fresh, crisp, and satisfying!!!

The Spicy Soppressata is delicious - without question my favorite sandwich in Chicago! The staff is very professional and friendly; the restaurant was very clean. All around great experience and can’t wait to go back!!

The best sandwich I've ever had was from a place in Florence with a 30 min line, it was almost life-changing. This was a pretty close second and I only had to wait 10 min. Caprese is the way to go, pesto chicken was just good instead of amazing.

I don't know what they do to the bread here but I've never had anything like it! Super fresh and crispy. The fillings were flavourful and complimented each other well (we got a spicy one with honey and turkey pesto). The pesto was incredibly flavourful and the spicy ham+honey was an awesome combination. The sandwiches were made quickly as well, a great spot for a quick but tasty lunch pick up.

Wow, a classic sandwich made with quality ingredients, the prosciutto/mozzarella/arugula just hits all the right notes. The bread on the sandwich is outstanding, crispy with a little fluff on the inside and great structural integrity to make a sandwich with! Also, customer service was amazing, I was having difficulty with my door dash app & confirming my order. My phone call was answered promptly and they made sure I got my order quickly despite the problems with the app!

Alan Wallis needs to be removed as CEO. He doesn't care about the business, only taking advantage of others and having them do his dirty work, not being available for weeks on end, and collecting a paycheck while doing nothing. 5 stars for the food and staff and -100 for him. He is a garbage human with ZERO moral compass. He should be ashamed of himself. Investors, please reconsider if he is the best choice to lead this new venture.

The most memorable dish I had was the bone marrow pasta. It lives up to the hype it was very buttery and rich. Everything else was also good but nothing amazing that I can't find anywhere else. For the long waitlist I was expecting a more curated menu with unique flavors but it was just like the Italian restaurant I had in an OC shopping district. The food was delicious nonetheless and the ambiance was very LA.
