One of my favorite rooftop bars in Chicago. Amazing view of the skyline and quick service. Also, it is first come first serve basis so no reservation needed. I prefer this bar over the famous one in downtown or Lincoln park since it is not crowded and price is same. Also, there is no food option available at the rooftop. Drinks are pretty strong and not watered down unlike some places, so would recommend it.

A great rooftop spot with some spectacular views of the city! Surrounded with glass walls and even a large patio, this spot has a lot to offer in addition to expertly crafted cocktails. There’s not a ton of seating so I’d recommend giving yourself some time to wait. Luckily, there’s another bar in the building, the Clever Coyote.

Absolutely fantastic rooftop! Location is unbeatable sicne you are 360 views. Imagine sunset, and then full moon night behind chicago downtown skyline. I literally had that moment. Good cocktails, quick service with really pretty views. Its a must go. They dont do reservations, only walk in. People usually go at night, best time to walk in is around 7 pm ish. Had a bunch of cocktails, loved the old fashioned

Came here for drinks and a chat. The workers are incredibly kind and the drinks were great. They were pricey, but high quality. Try the lavender cocktail! Honestly you are mostly paying for the view, but I have no complaints about that. I will definitely be back!

Greats views, recommend arriving early if no reservations if you want to get a table outside. We went on Thursday and we got lucky after a couple left. The views of the city are great. The drinks are tasty and our server was very nice. Gratuity is automatically added to your bill, just an fyi.

An absolutely stunning place with a breathtaking view at the skyline. Drinks superb (Aperol Spritz was very good), the service excellent. And something else was great: no smoking or vaporing outside on the deck. No stinking smoke from other patrons. This should be standard everywhere.

The Up Room was always a fun experience. We came here after a fun dinner for drinks and I would say the drinks are delish. Plus the view of Chicago is hard to beat! It’s a great place for a date night and seeing the beauty that is Chicago. A must visit!

I highly recommend the Up Room at the Robey hotel. I bring visitors here every time they visit Chicago. The view is expansive and totally unique. The drinks are unique. The staff has always been very friendly. Even in the winter, i’ve loved my experience here. My favorite drink so far has been the old-fashioned. They add smoked cinnamon which makes it really special.

Stunning views and a fantastic space. Makes the good cocktails easily worth the price. Great for date night or taking friends from out of town.

Nice view of Chicago skyline from the balcony, especially as the setting sun reflected. At one point, perhaps drawn to the heat lamps, a swarm of gnats temporarily had us swatting at the air around us, but they soon passed and were forgotten. The premium cocktail menu featured an interesting menu of tasty drinks. We were part of a private party, I'm not sure how long the wait to get in would be without reservations; I heard it was getting long at around 9 or 10 on a Friday when I was there. Cool stone grotto area added uniqueness to The Up Room's swanky Chicago rooftop lounge bar experience.

Killer views of downtown Chicago. Really enjoyed Lucky 13, one of their signature cocktails.

You can tell it’s a great cocktail bar if they have clear ice… the Old Fashioned is great! Love the view! The vibes are great and can’t wait to come back to try more cocktails!

Great drinks, view, and service. Intimate feeling spot with couches, a few tables, and bar by the windows. Bar tenders make some of our favorite drinks well and have good recommendations.

The best view of the entire skyline. There is no food here. There's a few snack options like a charcuterie board or a cheese board, so be mindful of that. Drinks are pricey (the cheapest cocktail starts at around $15-18), so you are mostly paying for the experience of being on an elegant rooftop and having a romantic view.

Come here for the views! This is an excellent spot to soak in a summer sunset. It is in the Wicker Park neighborhood, and you will have a view overlooking downtown. Such a cool skyline! Hotel guests have priority here. If you aren't staying at the hotel, you can visit starting at 6pm. The cocktails here are lovely. It's a cozy spot with minimalist, retro decor. I dig the vibe here!

The rooftop was amazing. Had some superb views. Not a wait to get the seating. A spectacular view from outskirts of the city

This is an underrated vista spot. I like it better than the signature room. Grab a good drink and enjoy sunset or just views of beautifully lit up city. Great for dates for or to bring folks from out of town. I guess that also means it's great to visit if you are not from Chicago

Cocktails and view were AMAZING. I loved the winter mule, so delicious! And the view was out of this world. I'm sure this place has a better vibe during the weekends/summer. But it was a odd "uppity" vibe. The manager was cold and seemed like he didn't really care for us being there. There was no greeting or goodbye. Would have stayed for another drink or two if the atmosphere was more welcoming. But overall we would go again next time we're in Chicago to give it another shot.
