It has been over 2 decades since I came back for a visit. The weather was perfect to walk around and took some family pictures for memories. So relaxing coming here. The garden needs more plants and flowers.

Its peaceful place and everyone can visit regardless of your faith and its free for all. They do have free parking space for visitors. Its beautiful architecture and very well maintained. They do have visitors center but when we visited like around 11am it was closed. Overall well worth visiting

Architectural wonder. Beautiful gardens and meditative walking paths. They have created a great space where I have always been able to get in touch with my spirit. When the visitor center is open, I suggest stopping in to see the some of the history of the building and how they built it. I found it amazing that they built it with the technology of that era.

While I would love to talk about the beautiful architecture, it's magnificence will not be lost once you enter the Place of Worship. My love for this place is for the people who are beautiful, wonderful and filled with kindness. Welcoming and friendly. It's a place of comfort if you let yourself have the time in one their corners. Let your mind wander in all the beautiful spaces that this place guides you to. Loved the movies, especially the one on Lotus Temple India. It sheds light on, where I would have never thought to look. They also have a piece of Concrete they used on Display. On the practical side: WIFI is available for anyone who needs it. Please ask at the Welcoming desk. Restrooms are available too. CLEAN and Well Maintained. And they have a path towards the Beach, whose Map I am attaching with this review. Along with the Map-Creator: Sue!

Very pretty place. We couldn't get inside it was closed due to covid. But you still can walk around it and meditate. Nice place to take wedding/graduation or any other pictures. Details on a temple are beautiful. Def visit since its only one in North America.

What an absolutely beautiful and peaceful setting and building! Though the house of worship remains temporarily closed due to covid-19, people are allowed to sit on the grass areas and walk around the grounds. I can't wait to visit again when they open up for visitors on the inside!

Peaceful place. The Baha’i are welcoming to all and share their beautiful grounds and chapel with the public. We stopped and one of the ladies inside the welcome center was super nice and told me more about their religion. The grounds were amazing. If you’re ever in the area take the time to stop.

The place is very nice I recommend to go early so you don't suffer with the heat or in the afternoon the infrastructure is great you appreciate all its details you can also walk through the gardens.

I lived in the area over 65 years and this was my first visit. Outdoor wedding on beautiful grounds!!! The building is absolutely gorgeous and one of a kind. There are only s handful of Bahai temples in the world.

I’m surprised this space isn’t on the top of things to see in Chicago area. The most incredible architecture, beautiful gardens even in October. The meditation/worship space is awe inspiring and deeply calming. GO!

We are not part of the religion but I have so much respect for these temples. Beautiful grounds and building. It was so nice to walk around. ❤️ The details and landscaping rival most places around here.

What a beautiful building. Went a on a group tour and enjoyed learning about the religion and found that the inside of the temple was not only gorgeous but very calming and serine inside.
