The food here was bursting with flavor but sometimes too many different flavors on one plate where I started to feel a little sick near the end. Presentations were beautiful, especially the terrarium. I can see why they earned a Michelin star but the price for the food/experience was a little too much. At the end of our meal we got a gift box with the menu and wine pairing as well as a tea bag, dessert treat for later, and a micro green growing kit which was cool and a way for them to be remembered long after we visited.

Temporis was a beautiful dinner. Value matters a lot to me. A Michelin star restaurant is often on the pricier end, but I felt in this case it was justified. The dining room is small, but well appointed. The staff was friendly, genuine and informative. I was very happy to hear they had a non alcoholic pairing. It's a great option for drivers and those who just can't or want to imbibe less. 65 per person Pro tip: Speaking of which they have more than one wine pairing option. There's a reduced portion wine pairing so drivers can drink but leave sober enough to drive. That night they had a caviar pairing for an extra 40 per order. We tried it. It was good, but not my favorite of all the dishes. The corn with shaved truffles was my favorite dish of the night. I do look forward to returning and seeing what they do next. Parking was Street parking for temporis. We lucked out and found a spot quickly.

From the moment my girlfriend and I entered Temporis to when we left, everything was perfect. The dishes were eclectic, creative, and delicious. I particularly loved the foie gras with blueberry and granola - such a playful take on a breakfast parfait, and so delicately presented inside of an eggshell! Other highlights were the "carrots and peas" and the wagyu beef, but truthfully, everything was spectacular. I highly recommend ordering the wine pairing - they even offer a "half glass" option at a reduced price so that you only have around 3 drinks by the end of the meal. This meal is easily one of my favorite set dinners in Chicago and well deserving of its Michelin star. The space is very intimate and the ideal spot for a special night out with a loved one. Given how frequently the menu changes, I look forward to coming back!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by word of mouth and I can certainly say the food here ranks among the best meal I’ve had all year. Maybe one of the best tasting dinners I’ve ever had. The quality of the ingredients and execution on every single dish was absolutely delicious and incredible. Hats off to Chef Troy and the entire staff for a dinner we’ll never forget. For every foodie out there reading this and visiting Chicago to dine at the well known establishments, this restaurant cannot be missed. Coming from someone who has dined twice at Alinea, the quality / taste of the meal at Temporis easily wins.

Truly incredible! Celebrated my birthday here and it was absolutely perfect, from the food and wine to the atmosphere to the service. It felt intimate and personal. The flavors of each course were so unique yet familiar in the best way, and there was truly not a single course I didn’t love. Would be happy to return in the future to celebrate occasions again!

Highly recommend as a fine dining experience in Chicago. The food is amazing, but the experience is so much more than that. The staff is knowledgeable and professional, every surface has so much care put into the design. I love coming back several times a year to see how their menu changes seasonally.

Temporis is an absolute must-visit in Chicago. I felt truly honored to dine there. The food, atmosphere, and service were unquestionably deserving of Michelin star recognition. Every course was a symphony of rich and harmonious flavors. I can't wait to return with my loved ones and share these unforgettable memories with friends.

There is a very curvaceous tall elegant server who is not very courteous. Maybe im mistaking her curtness for rudeness. But I remained mesmerized by her Victorian beauty. The tomato soup dish sucks other than that great fancy food for the gram. The chef is from Boston and he hates the Yankees. 👌🏼

Spectacular experience at Temporis! I have tried different Michelin rated restaurants around the world but Temporis is probably my favorite. Chef Troy and his team make sure that everyone that enjoys their dishes leaves happy and amazed by their talent and attentiveness. My favorite dish was the pork with chicharrón. It was exquisite! Cannot wait to come back!

Love this location and it seems to get better every time we visit. The staff and food are always such a delight. The wine is fun and perfectly paired. The seafood is elevated and the ingredients are top notch. This visit we were impressed by how each course seemed to be better than the last while we were simultaneously getting more and more full! We love Temporis and love to celebrate with them as often as we're able.

I am finally getting around to writing this review but honestly just go to the restaurant. The service is impeccable and the sommelier that we had absolutely made my fiancés birthday and our experience a 5 star Michelin experience. The food was insanely creative and so good we wanted to lick our plates. We will be scheduling our next visit because out of the several Michelin restaurants we have been to in the city, this one stands well above the crowd. I didn’t get a picture of the bbq course because the smell sent me into a frenzy and I ate all of it before I could take a picture. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Overall amazing experience. Expect to stay 2-2.5 hours to fully enjoy the 10-course meal. The house-grown veggies were amazing touch to any of the foods offered, too. Loved the vibe and also the amenities they offer in the restrooms too 😁👍 Will come back. Recommended!

The experience eating the 10-tasting menu worth the price. The food is towards creamy side amd therefore, you will be full by the last food. The service was great also overall but one of the server tends to act not so friendly with us that make the overall experience down but the rest of the servers made it up to make the overall experience great.

Tucked into a cozy corner on Ashland, this small but comfortable restaurant lives up to its Michelin star status. Every one of the 10+ courses were carefully prepared and artfully plated. Thank you chef Troy for stopping by our table, it was a pleasure to hear directly from the source of these amazing dishes!

Amazing meal at Temporis. We had a really great time eating the white chocolate nori cucumber dessert. It tasted like California roll and we couldn’t get enough of it. Super memorable!

Super intimate dinning room with comfortable modern decor. The staff was top notch to say the least, professional, welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The tasting menu had some amazing spins and interpretations on classic dishes and preparations while not getting to far off the mark. Some courses could have used a few tweaks but nothing major, the staff knows their stuff. If you like high end food with an intimate setting this is the place!

I and my husband visited this place with high expectations. The place was smaller than we expected, but we loved cozy and warm atmosphere there. All staffs were kind and we enjoyed our time there. Most dishes were quite satisfactory. Appetizers were good, and main dishes (fish & beef) were also delicious. I am not a huge fan of pigeon dish, so the first meat dish was so so. The first dessert (cucumber mousse & white chocholate with crisps) was amazing and it was the best dish i had that day. However the second dessert (dark chocholate, lemon ) was quite dissapointing. The chocholate tasted very bitter and meyer lemon cake was really salty, so we couldn’t finish that dish. Overall it was quite enjoyable time we had in this ‘Windy City’. Plus, coffee is not included in the course, so we had to pay additional fee for coffee.

Such great flavors and beautiful plating. The squab was amazing so was the wagyu. I wasn’t a fan of the cucumber dessert, I hate cucumber and it was just too overpowering of a flavor in a dessert for me to enjoy it. Cute cozy intimate atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

This was a great place and I had the blast trying foods that were a play on how they were prepared. The wait staff was amazing and super friendly. The food was very good and we came out full. Some of the dishes shined more than others but each dish was unique and took lots of preparation. From beginning to end everything was well thought out and the menu took you on a journey that not only lasted in the restaurant but also the whole night. For $265 (tip and tax included) I would 100% go back again!

I like the lobster tail and the first three appetizer. Other things look beautiful but taste nothing too impressive. The service and the atmosphere are good. Perfect for date night. $195/person tasting menu and we came out full.
