👍👍 At first I thought this was some weird gentrified house project lol I was amazed when I stumbled on the entrance one day and realized it was a public park! I think this is a hidden gem! Quiet, calm, and the access to water is a big plus. The parking is also a great addition. Will be visiting again w... People often mention park, river,

Very nice! This is one of the city's newest parks, constructed in 2019 if I remember correctly.

This is a slice of the intracoastal waterway tucked into the middle of a quiet slice of Bridgeport hemmed in by expressway, rail and the split in the South Branch. Great views of the near Southwest side, industry, and some of the skyline. Peaceful and usually empty. Good barge watching spot, or you can just watch the birds. Buildings look very nice. Free parking, good bike lock ups.

A hidden gem on the Chicago River! This is a gorgeous little park right where the Calumet Channel and Bubbly Creek meet to become the South Branch of the river, with views of the Ashland Avenue bridge (west) and downtown (east). The Eleanor Street Boathouse is also here, and you can watch rowers practice. Because they have done such a great job of cleaning the river and the surrounding area, there’s an INCREASE in the types and amount of wildlife you can find around here.

Easy and free access to the river. Have brought inflatable kayaks to put in here and paddle to Chinatown or downtown. Can usually see rowing teams practicing around here on the weekends since they store their boats in the park district buildings. Nice place to relax and see the river boat traffic as long as there aren't 1,000 geese harassing you.

Stopped here to walk my dog. There was a family walking their little kids and another dog owner enjoying the walkway. There is a waterway and a place to sit and look at the water. It was a nice spot to stretch our legs.

Really gorgeous buildings - boat house and workout space. It looks like they offer a lot of different programs through this park, and it's very focused on rowing. Not a whole lot to do if you are not there to use the indoor facilities or row, not a lot of walking path or garden space...just a lot of lawn. If you live near by though, I'd recommend it as a place to walk through, especially in summer

this should be an incredible park. but instead of planting trees or including any amenities whatsoever, the park district decided to spend all the cash for this project on a starchitect-designed garage. it's nice to sit by the water's edge around sunset, but they couldn't be bothered to include benches or shade trees. instead it seems like it's just a place for private schools to put row team boats in the water.

Great place to take out kayaks— start at the REI on Goose Island for great city views!

Lovely place to spend a fall afternoon walking and chilling. Sadly, the green areas are fill with duck's waste.

Rowing is the dominant activity (one of the two buildings is a boathouse used by crew teams), but also a good quiet place to appreciate the Chicago River and watch boats go by.
