Random stop on the way to church… loving the vibes and service. I will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area… #blackowned #ubuntu

Loved to see fresh coffee beans being roasted as we waited for our drinks and also drink it in there. Their bagel sandwiches are also very good. Ned time I’ll get a bag of coffee to try at home.

Ventured in Kribi Coffee to give it a try. I do think they have a great Dark roasted tasting coffee and quick service. Kids give it a thumbs up for a real Hot Chocolate... and an almost close to perfect Flat white within our group. Watching the air roasting process behind the barista is a fun experience as well as watching the espresso pour out of the portafilter. Eldest recommends the breakfast bagel sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon... the bagels look delicious to start.

I went in to grab an ice coffee and see what the shop had to offer. I enjoyed the outside and inside decor. I didn't realize that they have a basement that you can rent out or just sit downstairs and relax while working on your computer, reading a book or just enjoying your drink. They have a full drink menu and they offer some food items as well. I did not order any food items. I ordered an iced latte with extra milk. It was just right with flavor. The prices were normal for a coffee shop , the shop was clean and the employees were welcoming and quick with making my drink. I will definitely go back for another coffee and maybe try a snack this time.

This was my first time here today and I was very happy with the people, the environment and my To Good To go Bag! I wish more places would do this and just save the world for the future 🙏. I was happy with my sample Bag of coffee for Ukraine 🇺🇦 and my garden compost. What a great idea!! 👍 My parrots 🦜 are having a field day with the bagels 🥯 and I am loving the Breakfast roll. Thanks again ladies for a wonderful experience. See you Saturday for Bacon donuts

Good local coffee shop. After 2pm the coffee beverages are discounted. Their Americano was smooth and flavourful.

Its saddens me to write this because I've been here so many times and my drinks have been amazing! Unfortunately, the past 5 times I've gone this fall my drinks have been outrageously incorrect. The first few times the syrup was forgotten, but today my drink was a creme brulee latte with oatmilk and I received a regular latte with 2%. I noticed about halfway through. I am unsure if I will return. Not only is there an upcharge for dairy free milk, which I understand, but consuming regular milk is not safe for me as someone who is lactose intolerant.

The coffee as as phenomenal....met the owner who was telling me his coffee wasn't bitter like most. He started explaining the process..... So I went...very smooth, nice latte, purchased some whole group to try later

Great experience on our first trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. I love a coffee shop that roasts their own beans. Their baked goods are locally sourced. Nothing chain here! We’re still a little hesitant being unmasked indoors and we’re really pleased to be able to sit outside, sip some fantastic coffee, eat a scone and watch the neighborhood wake up.

Not sure what the hype is about. I’ve been here twice. First time the wait time was egregious. Even though there was nobody in line. And the coffee way by far, subpar. I thought, “maybe that was an anomaly”. So I tried to go again some months later. The EXACT same thing. I ordered an iced latte. It took forever to receive it. Even though there was only 1 person ahead of me. And this time, the latte was absolutely horrible to the point where I had to pour it out. The place looks nice but if you want quality coffee or pastries, go elsewhere. Like Starbucks, a few hundred feet away from this joke of a coffee establishment.

Just amazing coffee, chic atmosphere, and lovely service! We live in the neighborhood and pass Starbucks every day to come here. Some people (I.e., those who wrote negative reviews) are used to burnt, disgusting coffee from international faceless chain cafes, but if you are a coffee connoisseur and value good service, this is the cafe for you!

Exceptional air roasted, single origin coffees from Cameroon, Columbia, Costa Rica, and Ethiopia. Notable coffees: Mount Oku and Hyperslap espresso. There is likely one or more Kribi-supported causes that every patron may (or may not) stand with, but Kribi is a welcoming place for all to enjoy and a wonderful place to justly support hard-working farmers, their families, and communities.

Kribi, Is the only civilized coffee shop within many miles. Good cold brew, with the occasional special batch, as well as sweet little baked goods and hardy enough breakfast sandwiches and smoothies to actually feed you if need be, it's a great pit stop that I find myself going to at the start of many days. On Mondays occasionally everything is half off. That's kind of unheard of. Very cool.

I drove by this cafe on my way to work and decided to try it out, I wasn’t disappointed. I got a medium Mocha Fireside coffee which was richly flavorful without being overly sweet. The breakfast sandwich came piping hot and was fresh. Average pricing as Starbucks, but good regardless.

Very spacious coffeeshop and great tasting lattes. Wifi is very reliable which is great for work/studying. Staff were very friendly and the food was also tasty. Will definitely come back often!

Great vibes and wonderful people. I first tried the coffee at a church Craft sale, and it was the best I had ever tasted. Today I ordered Mt. Oku because I was short on cash, and it was a bit musty and acidic, but I guess their other flavors are better. Overall a great place to study and work at and the staff are great

Cute coffee shop with quality beverages and very yummy food options. The decor and vibe are cheerful. Staff are pleasant. Highly recommend. Plus, Kribi has an app for ordering ahead of time and gaining points that can be used across their locations.

Cozy, local, well sourced coffee shop. I don't drink coffee but my partner does. We got there every few months to get fresh air roasted beans. We will also go every other weekend for donuts and coffee.

My new favorite place. I visited for the first time today and the sandwich was delicious as well as the drink (hot chai tea latte). I plan to try everything on the menu. Lol

I'm visiting from our of town and came here for a quick lunch and to "chillax" with a book on a hot summer day. I got the savory Denver scone and a latte with oat milk. Beautiful place with good air conditioning, lots of seating, friendly staff, excellent coffee and good assortment of baked goods.

This is one of the best coffee shops around. They take pride in roasting their beans and it shows in their coffee drinks. So much to love here: Dunk donuts, avocado toast, blueberry lavender matcha, chicken salad wrap. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite go to places. If you don't know what choice drink you want, you should chose the Kribi macchiato it is good, hot or cold, and if you like it a bit sweet, just ask for extra Carmel.

Best americano in the area, believe me I have tried them all. Also, the cheapest at $3.50. Great work atmosphere, I sit here for hours. Do-rite donuts are amazing.

Would have gave this spot 5 stars because I love the price and quality of the coffee. The food here is decent too but recently the new baristas they hired have horrible attitudes. I simply asked a question about why half of my espresso shot didn't do into my cup because i watched as the machine let half of my shot go into the coffee catcher and the other half in my cup. The barista rudely explained in an Aggressive tone "the machine only pulls two" , which is fine to me but it's too dam early to have a attitude problem, a simple explanation in a better tone would have been enough. Also reading other reviews it appears I'm not the only one receiving this service which is not a surprise . If this type of service continues I'd happily go to other coffee shops in the area.

Super yummy treats. I'm not a coffee drinker but there are tons of other beverage options. Definitely give it a try!

Love coming here! Kribi has great coffee and treats, and staff is really friendly. Plus they have lots of whole bean options that are delicious and support wonderful organizations, which I really appreciate!

Really good coffees, teas, and foods, exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly staff, and really nice environment. Lots of power outlets and solid number of seats for working while sipping something tasty. Outdoor seating too!!

I love this place. Lemon blueberry scone and dark chocolate mocha with apple spice on top. Heaven :) Also love the space, the mission, and the people are always so nice!!

I thought, based on the story and unique style of roasting, that this place would taste a little more specialty. Coffee was dark and smokey which might appeal to some, but isn't for me. Staff seemed a little less than knowledgeable but they may just be new. Atmosphere was unique to the owner's culture and story which was enjoyable.

Welcoming crew, good brews, and a great alternative to corporate coffee shops. Great local staple. Looking forward to seeing the lower level expansion and their second location opening in Oak Park!

Coffee tasted great, but they only had to-go cups. Nice building but very limited seating. They misunderstood my order and the barista got a little huffy when I tried to explain and then he gave the cashier a hard time which was awkward. I tried to take responsibility for the mistake and the barista gave an insincere and curt attempt at a placating response. Good for grab-and-go but not a great place to sit and enjoy.

Coffee was good, service was less than desirable. We would've appreciated a warmer greeting instead of being handed off to a lower ranking employee. " He'll take care of you". It was the first and LAST visit for my husband and I.

Shop/eat local. Great coffee, tasty bakery items. Chill place with a cool vibe. Some great swag and outdoor seating. Drip coffee refill $1, yes!

Cute place on a corner. Ordered americano decaf, was very good strong decaf. Have to have one of their pastries with the coffee. I dunked it in my coffee, even better. Everyone was so nice, which was refreshing to start my day off.

👍👍 You must try the cheesesteak eggrolls. My personal favorite is the salmon egg roll. The Philly egg roll is what brought me here but I purchased one of each and just love the salmon. They are all great but I love seafood and it's hands down delicious. Melah was very nice and gave excellent service. O...
