If you're in search of comfort food that doesn't compromise on quality, Penny’s Noodle Shop is the place to be. A standout on their menu is the chicken soup, a heartwarming bowl of culinary perfection. The soup is generously filled with tender chunks of chicken, and the freshness of the veggies is evident in every spoonful. The portions are satisfyingly large, ensuring that you won't leave hungry. The noodles in the soup deserve a special mention. Perfectly cooked, they absorb the rich flavors of the broth while retaining their own unique texture. It’s clear that the ingredients are top-notch and that great care goes into crafting each bowl. In a world where fast food often trumps quality, Penny’s Noodle Shop stands out as a beacon for well-prepared, healthy, and downright delicious fare. Highly recommended for anyone looking to satiate their soul as well as their stomach.

First time order from this restaurant. We order 8 phos. Nothing topping meat with meals. Taste is so bad .$16 for one noodle.

Not authentic pad thai missing the tamarind flavor… very heavy on soy sauce. Dry chicken, I think they need to adjust their recipes

Game went from 2p start to the right at 4p. Got to the Ivy Parking lot at 2:30p and walked across the street to Penny’s Noodle Shop to wait out the heavy downpour. It’s right under the L train. Ordered some ramen because it’s ramen weather and green Thai beef curry since I haven’t had some in awhile. Hopefully this weather lets up by 6p. What turned out to be a day game looks to be a night game. First one at Wrigley. To my stepdad Robert VOELKER, wish you were here but ty for having the big guy stop the rains.

Although the food is good and service more than adequate, I feel that the pricing is quite high. It’s high for what you get and the quality is definitely not worth it. The food itself is decent but it should be cheaper. And that is why I don’t come often.

I got home a few minutes ago and am currently enjoying my Egg Noodles with Barbecued Pork, so incredibly YUMMY!!! I was craving noodles and it hit the spot, I added chili sauce to it and it kicked it up several notches. So good! I also picked up an order of Japanese Gyoza which never disappoint. So worth driving up from Chicago. I AM IN NOODLE HEAVEN!!!
