Do you ever wonder where kids ride-on toys go to die? Here, at Bixler, the toy graveyard. Almost none of the bikes have all of their parts, but the kids still love playing on their mutilated carcasses. There is a spray feature that is on sometimes and mostly works, though the drain is frequently plugged by sand and amputated toy parts. The play structures themselves are great! There is a large sandbox (also containing the ghosts of toys). I really do like the park. The play structures have wood chips around them, If you want a rubberized play surface, the playgrounds next door at Ray Elementary have that.

One of the best toddler playgrounds in Hyde Park! It is fully fenced off with a locking gate. There are numerous toys for general use in the playground. There is a fountain for use on hot days. The equipment is new and generally safe. And there are places for older siblings to play!

Great playground with a water sprinkler, sand pit, and slides and swings appropriate for toddlers and older children. There are also lots of toys for imaginative play. Love it!

Great park. There are 2 separate jungle gyms, one aimed at toddlers and preschoolers aged 2-5. The other is for kids aged 6-12. I've also seen a changing table and extra diapers that I'm sure could come in handy to someone!

Went to the 57th St. Art Fair with my sons and Daughter On Law. Had a great time as usual and it's becoming something of tradition.

Very clean, most people are friendly. Lots of dogs and children running around including mine 🙃 restaurants across the street if you want to grab pizza or coffee.

Big kid and little kid playgrounds, splash pad, and sandbox, all gated securely so you don't have to worry. The whole place was just redone, so it's all new equipment. Also, people tend to leave toys so there are often cars and such around. Great park!

Cute fenced-in park with lots of toys available for the kids. Just wish I would’ve known in advance that there was a sandbox since my 2 and 3 year olds aren’t the most responsible with sand. They get it into their hair and clean up afterwards isn’t fun. Also, parents were standing around on their phones or talking amongst themselves, not watching their kids. The kids that were there didn’t want to share and were rude to my children, snatching away toys, etc. It would be great if the parents were more attentive. Not sure I’ll be going back, but the park itself is fun for small kids.

Attended the 50th Annual Chicago Art Faire here which was most memorable as the great art was it accompanied by a flash hail storm with gale force wind. In June.
