So the Kyoto fries are soo good! I love them! The spicy udon noodles are sooo fire! That perfect amount of spice. The ramen was good, I've had better but I've also had much much worse. Now the best thing on the menu by far is the avacado tempura maki! It is the most delicious thing ever! If u love avacado, u have got to try it, u won't regret it!

Massive price difference between the website and in store, highly suspect. The Katsu entree is advertised on their site at $15 dollars, when I came in they charged me $17 and some change, then when I returned only a couple days later I’m charged over $20 for the same exact order. This is not some accidental mixup, as while I was awaiting my food another customer who was picking up a large takeout order actually confronted the staff over the price difference. He stated that he was being charged up to $4-$5 more PER ITEM. He showed the staff their online pricing and urged them to update the site, to which the staff hummed and hawed and acted like there was simply nothing to be done. This is highly suspect and hugely disappointing as the food at Nori is actually quite good. Hopefully they fix this soon.

The sushi is great. The thai iced tea is tasty, and the entree is a good deal for everything :)

Great service and the restaurant possesses a colorful urban atmosphere. Love the seaweed salad but wished there were larger portions.

Food was good, service different story. Saturday night (11/12/22) after 7pm and just 1 guy alone was handling phone calls, to-go orders, and being a server to ALL tables. It was not crazy busy but still 1 guy alone on a Saturday night is ridiculous. A simple "Thanks for waiting, were shortstaffed" + a little charisma or basic manners would have gone a long way. But instead he was short and even a bit rude. He took our order, and then never once checked on us . We kept having to get his attention for service. At the end we wanted more drinks and ready to order dessert but he came over and just brought the check without even asking if we were done. Nedless to say, once he dropped the check off - we were done, didn't order anything else. We just paid our check and left. I was upset but not one to make a scene. My recommendation is if you go, sit at the bar right by where the guy stands.

Terrible value. Bento box with 4 pieces of nigiri and sad California roll was $24. Ridiculously overpriced and below average. Order took over and hour to process and was super late. Chicken teriyaki was ok but I’d still avoid this place with tons of other options close by.

Cute little spot with consistently good sushi and poke bowls. We usually get take out, but it’s a cute spot, the people are friendly, and the service is good.

I’ve loved Nori for the last decade that I have lived in Chicago. The quality is always consistent and great value. I love their spicy miso, it has fresh jalapeños, so it is really excellent and my favorite place to get a spicy miso. All of their rolls are delicious. I highly recommend. They also do half priced maki on Mondays and it is BYOB.

Our Sushi was delicious! We had the Sansai Maki and the Loyola Lover. Personally, I loved the Sansai Maki more. We also had spicy edamame which I wouldn't recommend as I didn't enjoy. The chilli flakes were just sitting on top of the edamame and not mixed in which was very dry to eat. We'll definitely be back :)

Favorite place for sushi. Patio seating is available. BYOB. The takoyaki is delicious and so are the signature rolls. Friendly fast service.

I came here with my Autistic Down Syndrom son in a Saturday and they were very accommodating from turning down the music to placement of food. As a single mom of an adult special needs son...places like these who recognize our lives makes going out on dates that much better 😉!! Highly recommend the Bento box lunch specials!

I was surprised at the location when we arrived but happy overall with the service and quality of the food. We’ll definitely return! The sushi was so fresh and reasonably priced. It’s nice to be in a smaller restaurant atmosphere.
