Nice locale for a stroll. Start by grabbing some coffee at Starbucks then pop through all the great shops, some local, some premium chains but all with upscale and unique gifts which is great for holiday shopping.

Bit of a local tourist attraction, I mean, how could it not be? I’m not a permanent resident here but Market Square is rather pretty, especially when there is snow on the ground. During the summer it is very nice, and it peaks in terms of visitors, there isn’t a day where there aren’t anyone, and after everyone from Chicago moved here during the pandemic, there are more young children than ever.

Just a great place to chill, walk around and the shopkeepers are all friendly, wonderful people.

Cute and quaint. There are some restaurants, a Walgreens, a Starbucks and some shops. There were lots of cars, but I don’t know where everyone was, unless the parking spaces were filled with the cars of people who took the train downtown. We walked around for 30-40 minutes and felt like we explored pretty much everything.

Love this place. A small square w fountain, benches, nice stores and coffee places. Besides, it is a time travel looking at the architecture.

Bunch of stores across from the metra station. If there's anything there for you, great. If not, there it is.

I had not been in Market Square in years and my friend and I had so much fun looking into all of the incredible shop windows, and going into a few. When I think of Market Spare, it reminds me of when Robert Redford and his film crew was seen here by local residents when he was filming 'Ordinary People'!

Did my husbandly duty driving my wife to a dress shop for our granddaughter’s future wedding. Maybe she found the materials, patterns, etc. Time will tell.

Clean. Peaceful. Beautiful. The Amidei Mercatino Produce Market has a bit of a European feel to it and classic charm, which greatly adds to the vibe.

A lovely place to spend a day shopping and eating! The park in the center is great for kids to run around in or to sit on a bench and read. There are lots of shops around as well, a great local bookstore included! We went early in the day so it wasn't too crowded yet and we were able to bark in the square but I imagine it fills up pretty quickly. Walking around felt a bit like going back in time to a true town square with a train station right next door.

Parking can be difficult at times and the city lot behind the square is a bit far. Both have a very strict 3 hour time limit. The Lake Forest police are relentless in their pursuit of parking enforcement as if it were their only source of income. There are many different stores and one could easily exceed the limit and be forced to move their vehicle. If you are just going to one store it's a great market. Otherwise go to Hawthorne Mall... It's less of a hassle.

Fun and fancy shopping district. More stores than you would think given the geography - plenty of different types of shops. Most are local, which is very nice. Not many places to eat, however.

Very quaint and pretty typical old school outside shopping.....reminds me of Europe. There is a square with a fountain and table and chairs where you can sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee and relax.

The outside mall, the first of its kind when it opened over 100 years ago, is very quaint and historical. There is a mix of different types of shops and places to enjoy a meal or just a cup of coffee. Park your car and stroll the area, you will enjoy it.

Great place to shop for quality and unique products. High-end boutiques, skin care/makeup, clothing and shoes, sportswear, jewelry and kitchenware. If you're on a budget you could check out great sales. Their sidewalk sales are awesome! Just went there twice this past week and for a lot of deals. Shops had 30%-70% off on their sale items.
