Sure,
Armitage
Alehouse
is
the
restaurant
currently
hogging
all
the
hype
in
this
neighborhood,
but
don’t
sleep
on
Tarantino’s,
which
has
been
a
mainstay
for
25+
years.
It’s
a
charming
family-owned
Italian
spot
good
for
a
casual
date
or
dinner
with
friends,
and
it
boasts
some
of
the
best
service
I’ve
ever
experienced.
We
sat
at
the
small
bar,
and
what
was
supposed
to
be
a
30
minute
drop-in
for
a
couple
of
drinks
turned
into
a
2+
hour
romp
where
we
closed
down
the
restaurant
along
with
the
incredible
bartenders.
We
only
did
apps,
but
going
off
the
meatballs
and
caprese
salad,
I’m
confident
you’ll
be
in
good
hands
if
you
enjoy
classic
Italian
food
with
hearty
portions.
If
it
wasn’t
clear
already,
our
bartender
Becky
was
basically
an
angel
sent
from
the
heavens.
She
was
hilarious,
welcoming,
and
made
a
mean
espresso
martini
among
a
number
of
other
tasty
cocktails.
She
really
made
our
night,
and
served
as
a
prime
example
of
how
a
little
bit
of
kindness,
humor,
and
professionalism
can
make
for
an
unforgettable
dining
experience.
From
now
on
we
plan
on
being
regulars
at
Tarantino’s.
