My 5 year-old and 3 year-old both had lots of fun here. There were kids younger and older than them that also looked like they were enjoying the various rides. The big slide with burlap sacks to go down and the boats you can paddle were the most fun. We went on a Saturday and arrived just after the park opened at 9am, and it was not crowded at all. By 11am, it was crowded, and people were having a hard time finding a parking spot. Still, the park didn't feel too crowded, and the lines were still not very long. Pack a snack, and you can eat it in the huge pirate ship in the center of the park. Would definitely go back!

Talk about full circle, I’ve been coming here since I was a young child myself and now 30+ years later I’m bringing my children here! There was face painting today which was even more special! It was PACKED but even so, there were short lines and everything moved quickly. It was nice that there were little sprinklers to cool down with. It was very affordable and you can spend 2-4 hours there easily.

Do not miss this gem for your young family! Beautifully maintained and just the right size for young kids to enjoy before nap time. The landscaping is also very well designed and kept up. Good spots to take a break for a lunch picnic. Really loved this spot (almost as much as my kids!).

Good place for kids 3-9 to have a couple hours of fun. Rides are mostly for little ones.

A surprisingly nice amusement park right here in the community. Perfect for little kids 2-6yrs in age. Unlimited rides without the long line waits and without the worry of larger kids of traditional amusement parks and carnivals.

Love this place so much. Small but with a lot of attractions. Fee apply only for kids. Non resident 13$

This little amusement park is the perfect size for toddlers and great age appropriate activities for littles. I would say ages 2-7 is the sweet spot for Pirate’s Cove. They everything from a merry-go-round to paddle boats, trains, bouncy house and more. If you haven’t been, do it! It’s a super fun family activity, and they have a picnic area on the pirate ship. What’s not to love?!

This is a long-time Chicago-area favorite. This is a great place for kids 2-8 years to come and get their energy out. It’s inexpensive, well maintained, and you can spend a couple hours here, or all morning and afternoon.

Small, but fun! Not overwhelming, easy to keep track of your kiddo. Clean, nice restrooms, water fountain with bottle refill station, pleasant staff. Cheap souvenirs. You can bring own food and eat it inside. My 7 year old loved it! Adults are free, since you cannot get on anything apart from train and large slide, $15 for non-resident child. I think it was well worth the 3 hours we spent there. Highly recommend!

Omg my kids had so much fun!!! The only reason I gave 4 stars, is because I wish they had a few more attractions. But its Great for the little ones. Maybe 11 and younger.....

The price to come here is a bit much. $12 per kid, free adult. I chose to go during their twilight hours (4pm-8pm) on Monday’s and Wednesday’s when it’s cheaper because this place is only worth staying a couple of hours, and if your an Elk Grove Village resident it’s an even more reduced price. This place is very tiny, however it does have some fun stuff for the kids and will entertain them for a couple of hours. I’d say this is only for young children though, ages 1-6. They do have a few rides, a bounce house, and fun slides. I say this place is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared that’s it’s a smaller theme park.

Wonderful amusement park for 3 to 9 maybe 10 yrs old. There is nothing like it around. Plus parents and grandparents can come free with their child. I just wish they had their performance every day, I always time it wrong, we haven't seen one yet. It's a smaller place which was great for my parents, won't exhaust the seniors. Great big pirate ship you can eat on, bouncy house, climbing wall, huge slide for adults and kids,, good size playground, plus an extra area for climbing, train ride for all ages, about 3 other kiddie rides, including water boats, carousel, etc. Only about $13 for non resident children. If you have a little add this to your summer bucket list.

The rides and attractions are great! The reason behind the 3 stars is the DREAD and MISERY on the faces of the employees. Yes, it's summer time, it is hot, but I'm sure they were well aware of this when they signed up for the job. I've seen kids try to j teraxt or say thank you to some workers and the workers have such a sluggish face on them and a look of being absolutely miserable. It makes visiting the park so uncomfortable! It inspires a near sense of guilt and inconvenience for visiting with our children and families. Also at the little boat area, please have the workers pay attention to the kids instead of being caught up on chatter amongst themselves. I saw one little girl standing up trying to say she was done but nobody was paying attention to her and she almost tried to step off and a other time I saw another child's boat duck toward a corner and they didn't know how to get themselves out. Please pass along to your employees!

I think this place is great for 2 to maybe 8 year old. It's small but there is enough excitement for my 4 year old at 2 year old to have fun for 3 hours.

I have taken all my kids here, and the oldest loved seeing her little brother play at the same place she did.

Fun place for ages 3-7. It was not interesting for a 9y.o. but still something a 9 yo could participate in. Many daycare groups were there on the day we went. Lines were a little long but tolerable. I would take my younger child again but I would want to meet up with some of her friends so she would actually want to do stuff since we only did the options that allowed a parent to participate.

Really cute and a really great concept. They also don't charge for under the age of 2 because they don't know if at that age they'll be comfortable with the rides since their parents can't come on. Ours loved the park and slide, but he was too scared to try anything else.

Super cute for little guys. My little brother is 6 he was one of the older kids there but still had fun. It took him about 2 and a half hours to do everything in the park and was down to do a second run through. Snacks are a little pricey and there’s only 1 stand but it’s a cute place to bring some munches and have a picnic

It was crowded due to school groups being there. The rides aren't really for older kids. We brought our 9 year old and 5 year old grandsons. It was nice for a one time outing.

It was a really cute park with things for must ages. Rock climbing, slides, small rides, bumper boats, a bounce house and a play ground. You don't get wet (except maybe a little on the bumper boats). The lines can get pretty long, but my 6 and 3yo had fun.

Adults free. $15 for kids. Park is small but still kept my 6 year old entertained for 3 hours. Clean. Friendly staff.

It's nice but small only for small children. I took my 8 and 9-year-olds, and they did not enjoy it as much. They told me that was for babies, lol.

My fiancé, took me and my daughter here, and I ended up having more fun than the both of em lol. Great place to take the kids, would of gave it 5 stars but the place is small, they should extend the park.

My 7 year old grandson loved this place. He especially liked the slide. Nice that there is no entrance fee for adults

A Gem! A tiny theme park, meticulously maintained. Perfect for young children 2 to 8 years old. Short daily hours (closes at 2 pm weekdays). Adults enter free. Bring your lunch and eat it on the pirate ship.

The place is the most fun for kids aged 3 to 6. We got there at 12pm and it was pretty busy and hard to get a parking spot. I would definitely recommend the park for families with preschoolers and kindergartens. We paid $13 as non-residents, under 2 years and adults free.

For families with kids 9 and under, it was really fun. It is like an amusement park for kids. I was worried my 3yr old niece wouldn't want to go on the rides or the boat alone but she was able to do it all!! (So proud of her!!) A fun train ride for the whole family to ride on together...or should I say squeeze onto. 😂 You really only need 1-2 hours to do everything there and wear out the kiddos! Great morning, no complaints. THANK YOU to whoever turned in our car keys!!!!!

Pirate's cove is the cutest kids t"amusement park". I would say ages 2-7 would enjoy it. My oldest is 8, and although she gets excited to go, there is not much for her to do anymore. It's a small enough place that you don't feel overwhelmed with the littles. Lines are never long, especially if you go right when they open. Usually around 1130+ it gets a bit crowded. We appreciate that they don't charge adults to get in. I believe the entrance fee is $13 for non residents. We love this place and will be sad when our girls outgrow it

It's entertaining place for kids with varieties of activities. You are not required to walk much. But don't forget to keep eats with you.

Excellent small theme park for younger kids. Price is right and time invested is great for kids that still take naps. Always check the hours however as it's not open as much as you'd think

I have been to this place once before, when my 24yr old was about 3. The prices have been raised but it was exactly how I remember it. Very fun place for younger children. It was clean and not too over crowded. I will definitely be back with my youngest next year.

Great for kids and especially birthday parties! Well organized and the staff is great with kids off all ages. Highly recommended if you have young kids and are looking for something to do this summer. My 3yo had a blast and I saw kids younger than 2yo enjoying it as well.
