World’s Largest Bounce House was featured on the Guinness Book of World records and was here in Chicago! Purchased our 3 hour session on their website. Was super easy and quick to check in and obtain our bracelets. The bouncy houses are clean and super fun for all ages. We were scheduled to go into the party session by groups which was great way to keep the fun going! There was a sitting area for adults or kids to rest. I would definitely recommend this amazing experience to any one!

The most beautiful road I've ever been on. The fall colors were stunning.

Very large forest preserve with paved trail for biking, walking, running, anything really. Extensive grass areas as well. Obviously the geese also like the grassy areas so watch for poop. There are several well kept bathrooms along the trail and all were open while we were there. For boaters, a few places to put in along the water. For fishermen, lots of areas to fish from throughout the trail, but check for limits, restrictions, etc. No issues finding parking, I imagine more crowded on the weekends. The trail is very narrow in my opinion, which will make navigating the trail difficult when it is crowded. Was probably 50/50 in terms of people wearing masks along the trail. You can walk off to grass to keep more distance. Little to no shade on most of trail so keep in mind during summer months.

This is a beautiful preserve with plenty of trails and woods to explore! It’s clean and there are lots of areas to rest along the trails. The lake is gorgeous and great for kayaking. If you want a secluded walk, you can make your way out to the island in the middle of the lake for some peace and quiet!

Very large preserve. Many trails to go on and all paved and flat. Good for running and biking and walking. Can fish and also have water crafts to rent (kayaks, canoes) Only draw back is, there is a lot of highway noise which takes away from the peacefulness.

Beautiful forest preserve located near Woodfield mall and a hop skip from the O'Hare airport region. The center ring is 7.3 miles which is great for walking, biking, jogging, and rollerskating. The combination of forest paths and vistas of the lakes. This is the head waters for salt creek. Also this bike path connects to the the Salt Creek Greenway. At the northwest corner of Arlington Heights Road and Higgins Road is an Elk habitat with an active family group. As I child I would come to visit with my grandparents to see the new calves. Expect to see a wide variety of flora and fauna along the path. I do recommend mosquito spray especially during the summer and early fall months. There are more than a half dozen entrances with plenty of parking open daen to dusk, also about every mile or so there are bathrooms. Keep in mind these bathrooms are closed in the off-season (late fall to mid spring). Whatever your outdoor fix is this preserve has something for everyone 😀. There are multiple dams that provide great fishing opportunities for bass, catfish, walleye, crappie, and northern pike just to name a few.

Amazing spot with wonderful trails and fishing. My favorite flowers are White Trillium and and Bloody butchers aka Red trillium and it seems like Busse has a large population of both. They don't stick around forever so make sure you catch them in season: late April to early June.

Better than I remember! A slice of nature in Cook County. Walked the 7.2 mile path and took some amazing pictures. If you happen to go there, make sure you see the elk!

I love the paved loop trail (red on the map) at Busse! It's a great 7.2 mile bike ride - a little bit of sun, a little bit of shade, and some beautiful water views. I've been biking there for years and the trail has always been well maintained. Don't expect solitude, there are bikers, rollerbladers, runners, and walkers galore - which is actually a great thing if you're a female on the trail solo. There are so many different parking lots, I can't imagine parking ever being an issue.

I love this place. Little noisy when you get too close to the road, but plenty side channels and lakes to relax and enjoy the water.

Perfect for a leisurely exercise run with a kayak. Watch out for the ramp off area. It’s a goose poop graveyard. Would be awesome if Cook County could power wash it to get rid of it every once and a while.

This a good place for a family reunion. Reserved a pavilion with a bunch of tables, grilled out and enjoyed a nice day in the greenery. This in in June and the bathrooms were locked and said closed for the season. Would have rated it higher if it was for the bathroom situation.

A wide, well-kept area that is great for picnics, outdoor events, walking, running, biking, bird watching and boating, etc. Ample parking spaces. It's a flat terrain with lakes and some walking trails are shaded. There is a walk way bridge connecting to the Elk preserve.

Busse Woods and the lake are by far my favourite places to kayak and fish. The waters are usually calm, even on windy days. Fish are usually biting as well. Can't comment much on their rental ordeals since I don't rent their boats. Not because they're cruddy, but because I have my own I can launch. There's no fee to launch either, so that's always a big plus!!!

Apparently it is an expansive preserve. The trails are wide and great for walkers and bikers. We did not finish walking due to the strong gust. Will go back to walk the entire loop.

Beautiful, huge forest preserve, you can spend all day here. Plenty of picnic areas and forest trails of all sizes. It's a wonderful place to be all times of the year, and encounters with deer, woodpeckers, garter snakes, and frogs aren't all thst uncommon.

This place was great, but it's a relatively small path to accommodate the variety of wheels and walkers. There were a few close calls within the first 10 minutes with cyclists not announcing themselves or going faster than the suggested signage. I'm a cyclist too, but when there are a ton of families and people out (especially where the Elk are), no need to be reckless.

Don't park at the elk field lot, it's packed. Absolutely amazing 7 mile loop trail. Lovely place to take the family for a picnic or to walk the pooch. I can't wait to go back!

Very nice forest preserve. I entered at the South Woods. Plenty of parking. You might catch a glimpse of the elk, as I did. If you are on foot, you have to be aware of the cyclists zipping by.

It was a beautiful 7 mile hike we had. My dog almost stepped on a baby snake by the sidewalk. Pay attention when you walk around the park!

I'm surprised it's taken me this long to hike Busse woods. It is a fantastic location with paved trials, amenities, and lots of nature. It was especially beautiful on this Fall day.
