Why is New Haven pizza so damn good? Piece has nailed it! Both the beer and pizza are award winners - year after year. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. FYI: New Haven-style crust is all about the chew. There's a stark difference between New York and New Haven pizza crust, owing to the longer fermentation process of New Haven's dough. Proofed slowly overnight in the fridge, New Haven crust tends to be more complex and flavorful.

Under construction but once inside you don't really notice... The pizza was very good... Thin crust was able to support multiple toppings. The crust isn't flaky. Service was excellent. Guacamole was delicious. The salsa was more like Pico de Gallo... Mixture of tomatoes, onions, corn, and jalapenos. Nice beer selection with a full bar.

The pizza at Piece is very good. We had the Heirloom Tomato White pizza and it was delicious. The beers were good too but selection was limited to just 6-8 when we were there. Lots of good stuff coming that we couldn't try now but, what we had was enjoyable.

Been wanting to come here for a while and finally made it !! Huge pies, especially the large that's readily shared among 3-5 people. But if you want to try different toppings you can do what we did, order 2 mediums and split them in half if you'd like The sauce just has to be the same if you're splitting one pie We had a group of 4 . Highly recommend fresh tomato, basil, mozzarella and onion! This is what our waiter recommended to get and I really loved all of it. They were very generous with the amount of tomatoes! For the other half, we got the Hot Doug's Atomic Pizza (needed more spice but still very good Their white pizza is really good. Wish we got truffle mushroom on it. Instead we got just clam pizza , something I kind of grew up eating in Hong Kong which was pretty good. They gave us some lemons to lift the flavors up Overall LOVED the crust. Really crunchy and was my first time trying "New Haven" pizza. Almost wished I had a soup to dip the crust in. I still ate 4 slices and ate all the cruat so that says something 7 drinks (5 beers + 2 tequila sodas) and 2 medium pies came to $30 per person excluding tip

I love this spot!! Hot Doug’s Atomic Pizza will change your life! All their New Haven style thin crust crispy pizza is unreal good and they offer larger sizes perfect for sharing. Location seems great with parking being a bit tricky to find close by but paid street parking is an option and there’s a good amount of bars and restaurants nearby to also walk to. Then there’s the award winning beer they consistently produce in house. Pictured is the Black Rider Oatmeal Stout which was delicious but they do every style well whether it be an ipa, lager, or Belgian. If you haven’t stopped here and pizza is your thing, this is a must visit!

Alright, let's talk about a pizza joint that just made my entire day – Piece Brewery & Pizzeria. Picture this: I've been through a marathon of flight delays, finally hopped off the blue line, and stumbled into this haven. Best decision ever. First things first, the crew at Piece? Absolute legends. I walked in, exhausted and probably looking like a zombie, and they were on it. Offered to stash my luggage at the hostess stand and had me comfortably seated before I could say "pizza party." The vibe was buzzing, the place felt like a warm hug, exactly what I needed after my travel shenanigans. Now, let's dive into the main event – the pizza. Feeling big hungry, I went all out with a massive sausage, jalapeño, and mushroom pie. Now, I've had Piece pizza before, but this time? Oh man, it was on another level of amazing. Like, 5/5 with zero complaints. And here's the kicker – I took some to-go, and for the next two days, it held up. I'm talking fridge magic, folks. But hold up, it's not just about the pizza. I also ventured into a Caesar salad and this spinach and tomato dip. The dip was a revelation – bursting with flavors, and those tomatoes in a dip? A game-changer. Never had anything quite like it, but it was a party in my mouth. Can we take a moment for the drink? Forgot exactly what it was, but trust me, it was like a sip of heaven. Now, what truly sets this place apart – the crew. Every single person was like the MVP of customer service. Super chill, friendly vibes, and they ran the show like a well-oiled pizza-making machine. You can't beat that kind of teamwork, especially in the city. Major shoutout to the awesome team at Piece Brewery & Pizzeria. You've officially won me over, and I'm already planning my next pizza pilgrimage. If you're on the hunt for a legit pizza experience, this spot is an absolute must-visit.

Had been wanting to come here for some time. Was the first in the door for lunch and got my beer right away. I was half way through it before the bartender came back to take my order. He didn’t seem as interested in helping me as other people at the bar. The pizza was great and the beer I had was good.

Had a great time at Piece! Our server was great and we really enjoyed our food. The lunch special was applicable on weekends, the food was fresh, and the vibe was chill. Really enjoyed it. The goat cheese should have been called marinara instead - there wasn’t much cheese 😂 but still was good.

There's no question that Piece has the best pizza and beer in Chicago. To make things even better, their staff is welcoming, well-trained, and just generally happy. Kudos to everyone on their team, this place is the best and I can't wait to go back.

I used to visit this place regularly when I lived in Chicago, and I was happy to revisit with family recently. The fresh brewed beer is delicious and the pizza is some of the best in Chicagoland! It ain't deep dish, it's a "New Haven style thin crust," and it's wonderful. Even my youngest son, who can be very picky, ate every bite.

Customer service from the servers has gone down hill. Waited 11 minutes to place an order. And the people that sat next to us minutes later didn’t even wait 5 minutes to get their order taken. No serving utensils when you get the pizza’s like you use to. Pizza is great we got large Hot Doug and Large specialty chicken and Spanish dip. Golden arm delicious as always. Would be 5 stars if the service was better once your seated. The host was great.

Love the Hot Doug's Atomic pizza. I add another red chill to get more spicy and now what. One of the best pizza in my life. Excellent beer and service as well.

Been going to Piece for years & it is consistently very good. An astounding variety of options & combinations to please almost any taste. Excellent, high quality ingredients & fantastic preparation. The service is always friendly, the music playing & the sports usually on tv are cool & the atmosphere is fun for groups or hanging solo. Really great beers too. Delivery quality pizza is almost as good as dine-in if the service you choose is prompt. There’s a reason this place wins awards & is still going strong. Check it out if you have the opportunity. 🍕🍺😎

The best pizza I’ve had in Chicago, even though it isn’t deep dish. I really appreciate that Piece provides health insurance to all of their employees, including part time, and am more than happy to pay the 3.5% surcharge to help make this possible. Everything is excellent, dine-in or delivered. The sky lights in the eating area allow the air-conditioned interior to bring the best of outdoors, indoor.

First timer. Beer was great. Highly recommend the beer flight if you're not sure what you want. Pizza was good, but not life changing. The staff was amazingly friendly and made my 9/8 year olds feel welcome with the waitress recommended kid friendly bar drink complete with drink sword. Thanks for the experience!

Good pizza spot, you definitely get a big size of pizza but you pay for every cent of it. Large is $28, seems a little pricey for me but nonetheless, pizza was pretty good! On my scale, it was a 7.7/10. Crust was good too! Very expensive spot, but good spot!

Great place for New Haven style pizza, and beer's brewed in-house! The dessert chocolate pizza is a treat you have to try! Area parking can be a challenge, but Piece is worth the effort.

I have been anticipating coming here for a long time. This past Sunday we finally made it. I went to the page website and book a 6:45 pm reservation through Resy. Upon our arrival of 5 at 6:40 we were surprised that no reservation was in the system. Odd considering I had the confirmation and text right before we got there that our table was ready. After a twenty minute wait our table was ready. We ordered three pizzas and and two came out with no cheese. Our waitress never asked if we had been there before and we’re totally unaware that you had to pick your cheese for your pizza. Never in my life would I have to have to request cheese. My pizza was not good nor was the other. I will give Piece Pizza another shot but for $174.00 I expected a lot more.

We ordered half non dairy cheese. The other side regular cheese. We had toppings, but they only put toppings on one side. So to remedy the problem they gave us 50% off first pizza and gave us another large pizza on top of that. So I highly recommend this place as that's great customer service.

Haven’t been here in years, still slaps! Everything made to order, very fresh. The spinach dip we ordered was very good as well. Try to go at odd times so you can walk right in and don’t have to wait for a table, gets busy during peak times.

Great thin crust chicken pizza - crunchy is the name of the game. Perfect for 3 people. Wow. What a pairing with beer. Sadly no ciders on tap 😢 good beer selection though.

It was meh. Not bad, but not good either. The knife they give you couldn't cut a stick of warm butter. Individual pizzas were super liquidity but had good flavor. Service was fair, just took a while for them to give and retrieve the check. As for atmosphere, it's a brewery and it hit the mark there - good vibes and social.

We arrived right at open on a Friday and were seated promptly. The servers were friendly and attentive. We shared an XL (or whatever the biggest size was) pepperoni, which was massive. The pizza was a brick oven style and was really tasty. I had the golden ale which complimented the pizza nicely. If you’re looking for a break from the traditional Chicago style pizzas, this is your spot.

Beer was solid and the pizza was great! Ordered both the Honey Butter Fried Chicken Pizza and the Hot Doug's Atomic Pizza and both were delicious.

First time at Piece, been wanting to try this spot in the neighborhood for a while. Decided to dine-in. Service was sub-par, originally sat at the bar since they were pretty busy, but the bartender was kinda rude, and seemed too busy to answer my questions, so we decided to move to a table for better service. It was a step up for sure. Food was pretty good, started with a cesar & meatball sub. Both were fire! Pizza was mid though, was expecting more flavor. Would definitely come back for that meatball sub!

Great thin crust style pizza with vegan options. For something different try the white pizza with artichoke hearts and basil... you won't regret it. Service is always on point. Beer is good too.
